Triple meat pizza with banana peppers
    Maggie J.

My boss and I decided to try some place new for lunch a couple of days ago and we were blown away by Uncle Leo's! We ordered the fried cannelloni, toasted ravs, spinocci, and the triple meat pizza. Online said it would be a long wait but I called and they reassured me it would only be 25-30 minutes. It was done quickly and I loved going into to pick it up. It's definitely like an old school pizza shop. We'll definitely be back!

The aroma upon entering is mouthwatering and gives you a clue of what is to come. Minimal seating available makes this a mainly carry out place with daily specials and lunch specials too.Side salad was crisp and loaded with homemade croutons and an absolutely delicious homemade salads dressing. Pizza crust was homemade and crispy thin with a no CD Ed sauce and plenty of cheese.

Get the fungo chicken! I got this pizza because it was included in the St. Louis Pizza Passport for 2025. I did not regret the Fungo Chicken and I had to order the XL because it was great for leftovers. The service was top notch and the workers were all friendly. There are some tables inside and outside to dine there or take to go!

Delicious pizza in South County. Really fresh crisp crust they're rolling out. Love the provel and generous amount of pepperoni. We'll be back!

I had read about this place online and how it could possibly be the best in STL. They did not disappoint. Ordered a X-Large meat trio on my way home and man was it delicious. It's a cute lil small place looked like they had a table or 2 to eat inside. Lady working the counter was nice and friendly. Couldn't have had a better experience except for ordering more pizza so I can have left overs

Homemade pizza, sauce from scratch! the sauce is creamy, the cheese is just right and the crust is so crunchy. The price wasnt too bad either! 8.99 for 12 inch. And that was a little extra because of the toppings. Will eat here again!

A little slice of heaven on Lin Ferry (pun intended). I've heard tons of great things about Uncle Leo's and figured it was time to try it out. It's located in a shopping center and is easy to miss. Lots of parking in the lot! There are two tables inside, so keep that in mind with your dining plans. They offer carry out (and delivery) if there isn't seating available. Patio is also an option if weather is cooperating. I started with a side salad which is a very simple salad with lettuce, provel, amazing croutons, tomatoes, and dressing of your choice. I love all things provel, so this was right up my alley. The croutons are homemade which makes this even better- delicious. Our pizza order was an XL deluxe and bacon, 1/2 and 1/2. This is probably the best St. Louis style pizza I've ever had. It fits the description of stl style, but all elements are elevated m. Crust is more airy and homemade tasting, toppings are fresh, and all is served with a nice side of friendliness and hospitality. This family also owns Falonis, another great stl classic :) I can't recommend Uncle Leo's enough. I'm looking forward to trying their olives next time- I hear great things about them.!

This spot is a gem for St. Louis style pizza! Looked like the whole block was here waiting for to-go orders. Super cheesy pizza and yummy toasted rav. We also got wings and those we would skip next time since they needed to be more crispy/not a fan of the buffalo sauce. For sure going back when we are craving pizza again!

Another great experience! Everything was delicious, the marchers pizza was not what I was expecting, I thought there would be more basil leaves instead of dried basil but still delicious. They were very busy in a Saturday night, we waited an hour and a half for our pizza. Going in to pick up, it was not very busy but you could tell the guys in the back were hustling.

The good news is that everything tasted good. I love goat cheese on a pizza (and anywhere else). Yet I didn't enjoy the pizza as much as I could have because cool water and ice were in short supply. You had to ask for ice at the counter. I guess you could maybe get cool water from there too. Outside plenty of warm water was available. I know it's the side project restaurant of a side project brewery, but not everyone drinks alcohol, or should drink only alcohol on very hot days. The heat and the difficulty of keeping cool beverages around us made for a meh experience. We were so hot and sweaty. This is the fault of summer more than Side Project. I felt positively gross after sweating it out for a few hours with my friends, lol. I'll keep it in mind, but for fairer weather nights.

I called to place an order, the man that answered was very short, he said they were busy and wait would be an hour and and a half, I said that's fine. Continuing on, ordered the special minus mushroom. Wanted to ask if a different topping could be added but was cut off and my ordering was over. OK, NBD. Got to the place to get the pizza, my husband went in to grab it and the man at the counter was rude and short with him. Also the place was empty so maybe we called in the order during a dinner rush hense the 95 min wait, again NBD. An employee pulled the pizza out tossed in in the counter and walked away. Then a younger employee walked up to the counter and collected money. I'm hoping the older man was just having a bad day, but being rude in 2 different manners is not a good look. When we get home and started to enjoy this pie half way into eating a slice was a nice piece of rubber, kind of looking like a hair tie or something. Now that's a huge turn off. First experience and now the last. Sorry folks but bad attitude and a foreign object is at all not appealing.

The octopus starter had great flavor and I would order it again but the toasted ravioli was incredibly bland which was surprising given the pancetta and fontina cheese inclusion. Everything else was also just ok. I didn't snag a picture of the tiramisu and I wish I did because it looks quite different than some of the older pictures shared on Yelp already. Texturally it was on the dryer side and kind of grainy. Also, do want to call out that it was very loud in the restaurant if that is important to you. Not just dinner noise from other guests, but the music was playing much too loudly for a dinner venue. There are some other menu items that sounded interesting, so we will give it another shot, but this visit fell a little flat for us.

All were good but the lasagna was the standout. A little spicy and very filling. The salmon could have used a little extra salt but I loved the grilled flavor. Since it was my birthday they gave me a complimentary mini cannoli. It was so cute and very tasty! If I wasn't so full I would have loved a full sized one.
