I am not a native St. Louisian. And for years I resisted this pizza. I hated it! I thought it was awful and that's mostly because of the cheese (and I love just about every kind of cheese out there). That provel just killed me. It tasted weird on it's own and even weirder when combined with their sweet sauce. But I recently heard a friend mention that you could request mozzarella instead of provel (or do 50/50). Another factor that brought me around to giving Imo's another shot was the thin crust. Now that I've cut bread out of my day-to-day diet, I really don't miss it. So the idea of a thin, crisp crust is really attractive to me. So, a few nights ago I went to this Imo's with my friend Ms. W to try Imo's for the first time in about seven years. I'd heard quite a few people talk about the Meat Pizza being awesome simply because of the sheer amount of bacon. I knew this was the pizza for me! I had a very unpleasant experience at Imo's Pizza, and it was mainly due to how the situation was handled by management. There was an issue with my order, and instead of trying to fix it, the manager was rude, dismissive, and had a nasty attitude from the start. There was no effort to listen, no accountability, and no attempt to correct what went wrong. It felt like customer service just didn't matter at all. What made the situation worse was the tone and behavior during the interaction--it came across as disrespectful and uncomfortable. I don't make accusations lightly, but the way I was treated gave me the impression that there may have been some bias involved, which is deeply concerning. At the end of the day, mistakes happen anywhere--but how a business responds is what matters. This location failed completely in that regard. The little man who answers the phone needs some customer service training. On two separate occasions they forgot something in my order. Of course I'm gonna call and try to get it rectified because I paid for it. Both times this guy was rude as hell. If you don't want me to call and bother you, get the order right. read more

The service from the counter was very friendly, recommended the toasted ravioli. The place was very quiet and the food came out fast. I would go again to get other items. The pizza was filling and very different. read more

Ordered pizza, toasted ravs and a salad. The salad came with no dressing, no cheese, and was literally a bagged sallad from the grorcery store. When I called, the "manager" said what do you want me to do. So rude and didn't want to do anything to make it right. Imo's is already overpriced, and the horrible customer service isn't doing it any favors. I can't believe this place is still in business. If I could give it less than one star, I would. read more

I think its one of these places where you had to grow up on thin crust, especially saint Louis thin crust. I am not a fan of thin crust, lets get that out right now. But its not because of the crust so much as it is that horrible provel cheese they use. Its a saint Louis think and I can't see where it would be popular elsewhere. Its cheesy snot at best. Its a unique taste and with the texture I can always tell when its served. Going to most of the 'authentic' Italian restaurants in saint Louis I have to be careful because they also like to use this nasty cheese in some of their dishes. Aside from the pizza that you probably have to be indoctrinated to, you have sandwiches. Guess what cheese is on the ham and cheese? Yiup. They also have toasted ravioli. Again....a saint Louis thing. They're alright. The usual frozen one you get anywhere else. Last thing I can comment on are the chicken wings. Now the sauces are good but the cooking always gets me no matter how I try to specify them to be cooked crispy. They just never get there. I don't know if it's because of their cooking method or what. But the wings are good, just slimey skin. Rating system: two points for the unknown menu items that I can't comment on. Extra point because the ravs are alright, and the chicken wings are close to really good if only they were cooked a little more. Staff have been very courteous for the most part. read more

IMO's pizza is a one of the best pizza in my opinion ! Thin crust , perfect right amount sauce, not messy ,excellent flavor - our flavor is black olive and ham. The service is really fast too -went to store order and pick up in 10 minutes . Have to have it every time visits the city! read more

I got the gluten friendly cauliflower crust and my pizza was very good! It wasn't too busy so service was fairly fast.

not gonna lie the staff can be incredibly rude and it takes forever to get your food. they've had me waiting over an hour multiple times. they're also seemingly available on doordash but every time i order it immediately gets cancelled and when i've tried calling to ask what went wrong, there's been an incredibly mean woman on the other end. completely stopped going to this location and started going to the one in twin oaks! employees are SO much nicer and it never takes forever. read more

They corrected my order right away - ordered a large 1/2 sausage and mushroom, 1/2 cheese. Came out as just a 1/2 mushroom. They baked the correct pizza right away and let me keep the 1st "mistake pizza". Very good customer service. read more

Love Imo's. Great geographical placement. Food was prompt and tasty. Dine-in seating, which is key. Their fridge had count 'em, three rows of Code Red Mountain Dew, which was a nice surprise. Stoked they are Pepsi-operated. They had a sizable work staff, but they could up the friendly factor. Kind of douchey/condsecending vibes in the air behind the counter. They got our order done so fast! The food is all steaming hot and looks amazing!! By far the best location we've been to!

Even though this location is on Manchester Rd (which is a nightmare 9 times out of 10) the staff here makes up for that - plus they deliver really fast! I've never had to wait more than the estimated delivery time, in fact it's normally earlier. I work at a bank nearby and this is a lunch staple for us if we're short staffed or super busy. They make it simple and fast for us each time we order. Super nice people too! read more

I have always like Imo's. Tonight I ordered the St. Louis Box for $19.95. Not a bad deal when you get and 14" two toppings pizza, toasted ravioli, provel bites and cinnamon stick. It was all great expect for the cinnamon stick. There just little rolls with cinnamon and powdered sugar. They just need something else in them are on them. Normally my lady and I just get Imo's Pizza delivered, but we decided to go in there one day and eat. Things went well, we ordered the lunch special and our food came out at a good pace and the employees gave us free drink refills and were very pleasant toward us. The food was tasty too, especially if you like provel cheese on your pizza (I'm not a huge fan, but I find adding bacon makes it tasty). All-in-all a fine establishment. read more

I ordered 2 pizzas online and one of them was wrong when it arrived. We called and we're told that they had seen issues like this before with their online system but there was nothing they could do. We asked for a manager and she told us that if we ordered the pizza online, there was nothing they could do for us and we'd have to order a new pizza and pay for it again. It's not like I used some other website to order, I clicked on the link on their website. As much as enjoy the food, I will not be ordering from Imo's again anytime soon. It's alright. The natives here seem to agree it's the best. I think it's okay-to-pretty good. The thin crust is great, I'll give them that, but it'd be nice to have them put something on it besides a few marbles of sausage scattered here and there, all covered in cereal-sweet sauce.
