This is the location I got to about 99% of the time for Papa Murphy's. I have never had a bad experience here. I usually order online and they're always on target with the ready time. Staff are always welcoming when I come inside and are quick to provide service. Every once in a while I've had to wait a few extra minutes because they were busy, but nothing major. Any time I have ordered on the phone it has been easy and never had an issue. My order is always made correctly and turns out delicious after baking. This particular is probably the best Papa Murphy's location in the area. The franchise owner takes covid very seriously (a good thing) and requires all employees and customers to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Right now, they ask that you call in your order so you're not inside for too long. If you didn't, you come inside to order/pay and then wait outside until they bring it out to you. They're also only permitting one person per party inside as well. The customer service hasn't gone downhill during the pandemic. All the employees I encounter here are always friendly and professional. The pizza is always of quality, as well. read more

Well, the old owners are gone for the last six months, the new owners turned off the phone, and now is the worst service I have ever received at this place. Which is sad. We used to get two pizzas a week, now we get nothing , we make our own pizza now or we go downtown Reno for the best pizza ever. Why they shut down their phones, I have no idea. We ordered two pizzas. One was a cowboy pizza about 20 bucks, then we ordered a pepperoni, black olives, cheese pizza, paid an arm and a leg for both of them, husband gets home and there's only two pepperonis. That's it for $9.99 each when I paid over $45 for two pizzas, and of course, when I called them, the phone is disconnected. This new owner has no clue what they are doing, we went there one day, and there was an employee, that was outside, smoking a cigarette, walked back in doors, and not washing his hands, and was preparing pizzas. Yucko! Sick. After getting a few weeks worth of pizzas over the next month, and all were wrong, I always ordered from an app, and hubby picks up, so he has no clue what I ordered, we live 25 minutes from them, so no taking them back. We will not go back. There are so many people complaining about this place now, the employees stand around, doing nothing. They have no clue what they are doing. There is no management. It was our favorite take and bake pizza too but now that the old owners are gone , nope we are not going back anymore and so are not a lot of people, because the next-door app shows how many people are so disappointed with this place now. If I could rate this Papa Murphy's lower, I would. It was Christmas Eve. The store posted its hours as closing at 6 PM. No problem with that. I expect places to close early on Christmas Eve. I tried calling the store at 5:30, or maybe a few minutes before. No answer. I drove over. I walked in and the old bald man asked me if I'd phoned in an order. I told him I tried, but nobody picked the phone up. He said it's because "we turn the phones off at 5:30". The guy, who I found out was the OWNER, was such a rude, condescending JERK! Like I should have known that they turned the phones off early. The sign on the door said they closed at 6. He took my order, begrudgingly, I might add. The three young teens slaving behind the counter didn't say a word. They probably are well aware that they work for a complete asshole tyrant. I won't be returning to this location. If you enjoy being treated like shit, then this is the place for you. Plenty of other pizza places in this area who want my business. I guess nobody ever told the owner that CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KING! Papa Murphy say, We make the pizza but you gotta take the pizza home and cook that bitch in ya own oven with ya own electricity and if ya burn it up or it's raw that yo gd problem. This is basically a pizza grocery store but everyone treat it like a pizza place. It's not. At all. It's a pizza grocery store. Spivey has had pizza from here a few time y'all and every single time there is a weird metallic taste. No it ain't ya boys palette! I've narrowed it down to the red sauce. The white sauce pizza ain't got the same metallic taste. But every red sauce pizza do. Y'alls sauce sucks worse than Netflix's continuation of Arrested Development. My cousin Lester makes some damn good pizzeria sauce and it never tastes like yours. Y'all gotta do some r&d and come up with something different. Also the little girl at the counter rude as hell. My family and I have been back many times and still love the pizza! Plus the customer service is wonderful! I love it when the boss is on hand and helps with everything! All the workers seem very happy to work there! My husband took me on a belated Valentine's day date to an pizza\hot dog place ($45.00 for an larger toppings deep dish pizza)! I like this store!!! It's on my way home so it's a quick stop. I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked if they could help me. The manager/owner (not sure which) was very friendly and talked nicely to his employees. This store is very clean and they will make you half and half pizza's. This location is great. I love smelling my pizza cook at home. Fresh toppings, tasty crust. Nice people. They always honor my coupons. Workers are wearing face masks. Looks and smells clean. Ordered 6 pizzas online today. The only time I saw available was asap (in 35 min) so I clicked that time. Went to pick up the pizzas at the designated time and kinda got scolded by the owner for clicking asap and he told me not to do that again. Worst customer service ever! Went with my friend and her baby which is 1. There was two people in there already that had ordered that was waiting for there food. We literally walked in and were told someone is going to wait outside cause there is more then 4 people and no one has mask. And take in mind that was the baby 1 year old with us and he didn't even ask nice just plain rude. Disappointed... we just decided to take out business else where. So I ordered a few pizzas one I ordered I customized with all types of veggies and I was bound to enjoy it until I found not one not two but three really long pieces of blonde hair in between the crust and the tray. When you order from there the crust is already laid out and on the tray so whoever prepared the dough had to of did that. I spoke with manager he said he lays the dough and he's bald. Been picking up take n bake from here for years and never had a problem. Tonight was no different. The gourmet vegetarian is awesome. My husband usually gets a pepperoni or the cowboy. The pizza dough and toppings are always fresh and never skimpy. The staff is always teenagers, so sometimes you get someone nice and sometimes you get.... well, a teenager who would rather be out with their friends. We've all been there, so I get it. But they are never rude. I just find it odd that there is a tip jar for a place where you have to pick up the pizza and bake it... But we are suckers and tip anyway. read more

It takes a lot for me to write a review, and even more for me to write a bad review. Taking a full 40 minutes to construct an uncooked pizza sends me flying well past "unhappy" and lands me somewhere somewhere near "completely dumbstruck." My wife called the order in at 6:04 to save time over me ordering in person, and I arrived at 6:27 en route from work, only to discover that our pizza had not yet been prepared. After a profuse apology from the cashier, whom I watched hand my ticket to the first line worker with an instruction to "make this one," I thought, "Well at least it'll be done immediately." Wrong. I stood, along with two other customers who were in the lobby before my arrival, watching pizza after pizza fill the rack - with no one entering to claim them, mind you - as neither mine nor theirs got tackled. This went on until I was handed my pizza at 6:44, which is 17 minutes after the order was handed off. Meanwhile, a mere two other patrons walked in during our endeavor while four (4!) assembly staff worked on pizzas with at least two more in the back. I have no idea in what galaxy the acceptable practice is to make in-person clientele wait while other business for not-in-person clientele is attended, but in my galaxy it is unthinkable. This marks the third time in three visits across four months in which I have had a terrible experience, all due to vapid staff and lethargic work ethic. The employees are only as good as their training, which is only as good as the management, which is only as good as the franchise owner. About 15 years ago this location was rock solid and winning national recognition under a different owner. These days it takes longer to get a take-n-bake than it does to receive a delivery, which we did just one week ago (not joking - 33 minutes from phone call to doorstep). It is now 7:28 and our two-layer pizza is still in the oven. All this on a night when we chose NOT to cook dinner because after a long week we did not want to eat this late. As it turns out, we should have saved the money and cooked food ourselves. Our expectations would have been met and I would not have wasted nearly a half hour on the detour. Get it together, Papa Murphy's; this is unacceptable. read more

My order was missing 2 ingredients but when I went I called about it they agreed my order was wrong and told me to come back right away to get a new one and to also keep the one that was wrong. When I went back in he also apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a free container of cookie dough. So I believe he did the right thing and made me more happier with my purchase. This is the second time my family and I have gotten moldy food here. It's always on the pre packed mini-murphs.

My wife & I are big fans of Papa Murphy's take & bake pizza, but this location (despite it being our primary location for 2 years due to its location) doesn't measure up to most others. While I'd always rate all other locations of the many we've visited over the past decade at least a "4" (and many rate a "5"), I'm forced to rate this one a "3" due to slower speed of service, less staff enthusiasm (and occasional apathy), and less generosity on the part of management a/o ownership (for example: follow up surveys earn free items at many stores, whereas they earn low value coupons here). Employee turnover seems much higher at this location, too--today's crew was all new from my observation (although they all did better in all of these rated aspects than their predecessors...maybe this location has turned it around? When I got there to pick it up it was family size, original crust, the only thing they did get right was the BBQ chicken part.
