We've been customers of the Anacortes location for 20yrs? Whoever bought it (saw him when it turned over, some a**-hat texan? Ridiculous country music playing. My husband & myself were both appalled (we went in at separate times) by "The Lack" of customer..... and saddened all the original employees we had known were gone. The girl working there was just awful! She didn't seem to do anything but yack at her co-worker. All the sweet letter's & drawings from the children gone from the walls, dark, nasty like buy a pizza and get the hell out. nice of them to have left one chair. Oh & yes I also recall there were actual toppings on the pizzas Wow imagine that (4 pieces of pepperoni) for how much they cost. Bake Pizza Usually very good but during the pandemic it became an extremely disappointing and unhealthy source for food! The employees were evidently not required to wear protective gear while preparing and serving food to protect their customers or themselves from spreading the virus. We were informed that the owner is an "anti-masker" who declined to follow the governor's mandatory mask mandate during the pandemic. We have stopped purchasing any food from them. read more

I've been a loyal customer since the '80s but I won't be returning. Went in yesterday to find all staff maskless despite a statewide mask mandate and was told it was a "personal health choice." If you don't value the health of your staff and customers during a pandemic, I'm sure not trusting you to feed my family. That is my personal health choice. read more

Not one employee was wearing a mask after governor's mandate. Everyone had to gloves on, but no masks ... and all working side by side (6) heads hanging over the all pizza works. I asked the manager why? He said mandate did not apply to their store. Sad. Hospitals are full of COVID 19 patients and 1/2 are under age 40 and and half of those are under age 20. read more

We make it a monthly ritual.... Sometimes weekly to get a take and bake pizza from our Papa Murphy's in Anacortes. The selection is amazing and we can satisfy our 4 teen age boys with out breaking the bank. Tonight we had a spinach, tomato, roasted garlic, and Feta on thin crust. It was amazing!!!! The staff there are always friendly and polite. The restaurant is spotless , and I have never had to wait more than just a few minutes. The owners are always doing something in the community for the schools or other charities, and that means a lot to us. Keep it up Papa Murphy's team!!! read more

I have two perspectives on this Papa Murphy's. In high school, I worked their for 3 years, and to this day, I can attest that it was one of the cleanest, most efficiently run, using only the freshest ingredients, and honorable establishments I've ever had the privilege to work for. Today, I'm just a customer - that's right, I learned to love the pizza from working there, not to hate it. I can see the high standards still continue today, as well as fast customer service, well made products, and nothing but tasty results. I love Papa Murphy's, and this particular store has a wonderful manager and cheerful, efficient staff. The owner is very supportive of the community which is a real plus, as far as I am concerned. We almost always get the pan pizza (love it) with gourmet vegetarian and double Italian sausage. (I know it sort of defeats the whole vegetarian thing, but it is yummy!). Love taking it home and it is always hot and fresh. Plus it is great value for your money, and always fresh ingredients. We recommend this store, in particular. read more

Pizza was fresh and I got it fast but the customer service was terrible. I ordered a all meat deep stuffed pizza and when they handed it me it was a Murphy which was not that big of a deal and was quickly fixed but when the guy that made it told the guy that rang it up that it was wrong he was very rude about it and loud enough so I could here him say that I ordered it wrong and that it was my fault. I Have given them my business for years and I just don't feel that the way I was treated today is a good way to treat a loyal customer. read more
