The staff at Stanwood Sahara is sorely lacking in competence, courtesy, and integrity. Doing business with these people is a waste of time and effrontery to decenct treatment by a business. At 7:09 pm 4.27.25, an order for no cheese for my wife's lactose intolerance was picked up, then all the way back home discovered it was made with cheese by mistake. At 9:18 pm manager named Greg said he would refund to the credit card. That never happened. Tonight 6.27.25, we ordered again and at pickup presented a copy of the non-refund-credited original slip from 4.27.25, to which a guy named Anthony would not refund or deduct from the current order and smirkingly told my wife to contact the owners, whom he would not identify or provide a contact method. Calling myself a pizza enthusiast is a grave understatement. If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would hands down be pizza. There aren't many options for good pizza in Stanwood so, with that in mind, Sahara pizza is definitely at the top among the choices. The BBQ chicken is easily my favourite pizza of theirs. It's tangy, sweet, and goes great with chilli flakes. I really like their ranch dipping sauce too - it compliments the crust well. We've also ordered the pepperoni, Sahara (which is a deluxe) and Hawaiian (for friends - I am not a ham and pineapple kind of gal). All are good enough. Their bacon cheesy bread is also quite good. Their pastas, on the other hand, are pretty hit and miss. We've had the chicken fettuccine alfredo and spag and meatball pastas a number of times. 50% of the time they're made well with enough sauce, cheese, meat and flavour. The other 50% of the time we find the noodles quite dry without enough sauce or cheese. Would I be a regular at Sahara if there were other solid options in the area? Probably not - at the price point of $17.99 for a 12" speciality pizza, I'd much prefer a classic Neapolitan pie but, alas, it does the trick. It's clear I'm living in the wrong city but until I can move, I'll just shut up and keep coming back for that bbq chicken goodness. read more

We ordered 2 pizzas: a XL Hawaiian with extra sauce and cheese and it looked amazing, we are vegetarians so did not have any.
