I'm stuck at home sick and wanted something warm and yummy to eat so I thought pizza. This location isn't far from my house so I decided to order from there. I ordered boneless wings, garlic knots, and a large pizza. The boneless chicken wings were more multi size chicken chunks but arrived hot and were tasty. The garlic knots were tiny, burnt, and dry. There was barely any with garlic butter on them. They were not good. The pizza was good. But it was lukewarm warm when it arrived. As the chicken wings were steaming hot and the pizza was like warm it was clear that it was sitting waiting for the chicken to be done. I ordered though the app, the door dash driver that brought it was super nice and called and asked where I wanted it brought. Great job door dash, Papa John's should have waited or remade the pizza. I strongly do not recommend the not so garlic knots. read more

I love pizza. Almost all pizza, in fact, except thin crust. So yes, I am reviewing Papa John's because sometimes you want a cost effective pizza delivery option that is still very tasty. With Papa John's you know what you're getting : their pizza has a sweet and tender, chewy crust, and a sweet pizza sauce. I personally love the sweetness, I know it's not for everyone. They also have the best garlic butter sauce and they're one of the only pizza places that will give you a free one with your pizza along with a pepporncini (not my favorite but for some it's a bonus). This location is our neighborhood Papa John's and I've ordered delivery from them more than a few times over the years. So far my orders have always been correct and delivered promptly. Yes there have been some times where I thought the pizza quality was maybe not up to par, but that has always been remedied by another order. Being a bread lover I also like to order their garlic knots which are smothered in garlic butter and yes, I still dip them in their garlic butter sauce. I got a free cookie for my birthday and it did not disappoint! Reminiscent of a skillet cookie it was well baked and chock full of chocolate chips. Pro tip: order your pizza well baked if you like a crispier crust, but don't expect crispy crust because Papa John's is soft and doughy. Preheat your oven and throw slices on a pizza stone or directly on the rack if you want to crisp it up further. Also ask for extra garlic sauce, you won't be disappointed. read more

Well tonight I choose to order from Pap John's 2 minutes from my home. I should have gone picked it up. Instead I choose delivery and it said estimated delivery 7:52-8:04pm well it's 8:27pm called the store my Pizza has been cooked and kept probably under their warmer bulbs for well over 45 minutes now :/ and still not in delivery lol. Why have an app that lies and tells you is cooked and out for delivery when is sitting back at the store still? I should have checked their reviews they are horrible 2.8???? Wow!!!! read more

We had the epic garlic stuffed crust pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions, and breadsticks with garlic, nacho cheese, and Doritos Cool Ranch dipping sauces. While the delivery driver was timely and otherwise friendly, he was a bit impatient; he rang our doorbell twice and knocked twice. The pizza was very tasty and well worth the price, but the breadsticks and Doritos Cool Ranch dipping sauce were nothing to brag about. The breadsticks were a bit dry and overdone and the Doritos Cool Ranch dipping sauce cup barely had any sauce in it. It had a lid on it and didn't appear to spill on the pizza or in the box. It was even $0.30 more than the other sauces. I would recommend trying the pizza, but save your money by not ordering the breadsticks or the Doritos Cool Ranch dipping sauce. read more

We got the stuffed crust pepperoni pizza and were pretty disappointed. It was floppy and greasy and the pizza could have been cooked longer. It was doughy and the pepperonis weren't crispy at all. I mean bread and cheese and meat still tastes good, but just poor quality. The breadsticks and cheese sauce was the best part. I could eat those every day. read more

So we quit eating Papa John's when Papa spoke out about the Affordable Care Act ( Republican Obama Care), stating he couldn't afford to pay for employees health care, while sponsoring the Colts and giving away free pizza. We still weren't eating when he spoke racial slurs in an interview. Whew... now that Papa no longer has controlling interest in Papa John's we gave them a try for the first time in years. Pizza was just as I remember. It is OK pizza not great not bad and Ok breadsticks. A time when Yelp needs half stars. Only plus is this is the closest pizza place driving distance from our house. So on days of sheer convenience we would probably order from here again. Other than being lazy this would not be our first to 5th choice for pizza. Pizza Hut, Jack's, Jet, Noble Roman's, Arnies, but not necessarily in that order. read more

Ordered for delivery. Driver got lost. As I watched the tracker, he made a loop, then when he finally showed, never apologized for being late. Instead he said he just had to turn around. The store is probably 5-7 minutes from my house. He probably went 10 minutes out of the way by not following simple directions. I aldo ordered a 2 liter of Pepsi, and when I opened the bag, it was Dr. Pepper. Not a Pepper fan Lesson learned, should have ordered from the competition. Next time, I will. Ordered a pizza, picked it up, brought it home. Order was completely wrong (and stale, literally like eating cardboard)- which is fine, if their customer service wasn't extremely rude. I called the store to ask if there's any way I could get a refund or get a different pizza. Cant even explain the tone of the man's voice that's working. I didn't like a specific ingredient and he asked me about it and refused to help unless I paid for a whole entire new pizza. I get it, it's 8:30 PM on a saturday night and working in customer service is draining, but the way I was spoken to tonight was unacceptable, and there's no excuse to speak to anyone that way. I also work in customer service and I am always kind and patient and understanding when I ask an employee to fix something that wasn't correct. If you're trying to get a quick and easy dinner during a hard time in this economy - go to marcos. employees are kind, and pizza is always good. And to the employee, if you're reading this - you need an attitude check. I know you're probably understaffed but we're all struggling just as bad. I always tell my employees that if they need a moment to take a walk in the back and just calm down a little. You never ever know what ANYONE you're speaking through could be going through. Please, just be patient and treat people with kindness - usually those people will be grateful and be kind in return. Everyone is high or getting high at this location. I placed an order for a pizza and it literally never showed. When I called and called and called- no one would pick up the phone. I literally had to sit on hold over and over again listening to that go Papa song. I finally gave up. Thankfully I was paying cash and didn't give the guy on the phone who was definitely high my credit card. Where are the managers for this location!!!!! It's horrible. Placed an online order at 1pm. Website estimated 79-99 minutes. Order tracking showed the pizza being made and baked right away. Around 2pm I decided to check the tracker again and it showed pizza already delivered. Well there was no pizza at my house. Figured it was just a glitch in the system and would wait the full 99 minutes before calling. Around 2:30pm the driver showed up. He opened the screen door and stood uncomfortably close to the door. When he pulled the boxes out they were covered in garlic from the garlic knots. Luckily the garlic didn't get into the other boxes. The pizza was stone cold, no heat left in the garlic knots either. It appears they received my order and immediately made it. The driver probably also made a dozen other deliveries at the same time as mine. So far no response from management. It's always fresh and warm when I go and pick it up. The staff is friendly and usually about their business. They don't talk much. Only things I can say badly is that sometimes the pizza is a little too greasy (but nothing a tap down with paper towels can't help) & 2/10 times they don't cut it the way I put it. But overall the pizza is always good and barely have any problems. read more

I called in to use a coupon, gave the code and was told I couldn't use the coupon I had to go online. Nothing on the coupon indicated I couldn't use it at the store. The staff member was a rude, sharp and hung up. I called back to talk to the manager, the rude staff member WAS the manager and he told me to stop calling! I left a message for the store owner and he never bothered to return the call. Honestly with how nasty they were I don't trust them to make food for me. Ordered two one topping pizzas to be delivered and got one pizza with two toppings an hour and half after ordering. Was told to give the wrong pizza that was in my hands and in the house back to Papa Johns by manager. Asked them to make the correct pizzas and deliver them but the manager stated that we would have to wait another hour due to heavy deliveries. Customer service was not at play here and with returning the wrong pizza so they could place it in the freezer to give to others, once it was touched is not sanitary.
