Our waiter was so patient with our loud and crazy group. Food, ambiance, service all outstanding. Food portions were very generous. Everyone loved their meals. Need to get back there soon. Out of all the pump group of restaurants, this is definitely my favourite!

This is a pretty small older restaurant in the heart of the PC strip. Food (2.5/5) - menu has fairly good selection and reasonably priced. Quality of the food was weaker than expected though. - Pizza Special - white cheese, green and red peppers, red onions, mushrooms and prosciutto. Was pretty weak - thin firm crust with no crunchiness or burn. Toppings were the kind you would get on a grocery store bought Delissio pizza. Cheese tasted like kind you would get in a pizza pop. - Calamari - very small bit rubbery similar to what you would get from M&Ms with a small side dipping sauce. Service (4/5) - servers were attentive and friendly - no issues here. Atmosphere (3/5) - i get they are going for a bit rustic look but the place is a bit run down. Washrooms need updating, tables and floors are a bit beat up. Like the open kitchen concept though. Overall (3/5) - seems like a locals place to me. There aren't a lot of great options for italian or pizza in PC so sure they get their share of traffic. I am personally not repeating.

Bruschetta Funghi (Dine-In): Pollo Chicken Sandwich (Dine-In): Chef's Alfredo (Dine-In): Margherita Pizza (Dine-In): Italian Deluxe Pizza (Dine-In): Tiramisu (Dine-In): Drinks (Coffee, Cocktails, Mocktails): Service: Ambiance: Overall Experience: Dine-In Experience: Our visit to Papa Giuseppe's was an absolute treat--an ideal combination of comforting Italian food, warm hospitality, and the perfect spring patio setting. We initially sat indoors, but as the weather turned out to be just right--sunny with a gentle breeze--we moved to their covered patio, which was a fantastic decision. The patio is thoughtfully sheltered, so we could soak in the pleasant sunlight without being bothered by the wind. It added a lovely touch to the whole experience. Food & Drinks: We started off strong with the Bruschetta Funghi, which was served on freshly baked focaccia topped with wild mushrooms, mozzarella, and parmesan. The finishing touch of truffle oil and fried sage made this dish an absolute standout--earthy, rich, and beautifully balanced. The Pollo Chicken Sandwich featured a crispy fried chicken breast with mozzarella and pomodoro sauce on a soft Kaiser bun. We tried it with sautéed mushrooms. While tasty, it leaned more toward comfort than standout, but still satisfying overall. The Chef's Alfredo was a crowd-pleaser--luxuriously creamy with a well-balanced blend of cheeses and herbs, served over perfectly cooked fettuccine. It's classic done right. For pizzas, the Margherita was clean and fresh, with a great base and quality mozzarella, but could've used a touch more vibrance in flavor. On the other hand, the Italian Deluxe was loaded with hearty toppings--Italian sausage, bacon, pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, and onions--all layered beautifully without being overwhelming. This one stole the show. Our drinks--including coffee, cocktails, and mocktails--were all well-executed. Refreshing, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. We ended the meal with their Tiramisu. It had a lovely creaminess and soft texture, but the cinnamon was a bit overpowering and slightly took away from the classic espresso-forward profile we were expecting. Service: The service throughout was phenomenal--attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced. The staff was proactive in helping us move outdoors and made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout. Ambiance: Between the cozy indoor vibe and the beautiful covered patio, Papa Giuseppe's nails the balance of casual and charming. The ambiance is perfect for both a relaxing afternoon bite and an intimate evening out. Overall Experience: Papa Giuseppe's delivered a wonderful Italian experience--from flavorful, comforting dishes to top-notch service and a picturesque patio setting. Definitely worth a visit, especially while patio season is in full swing.

this is my go-to italian restaurant in the port credit area, and honestly, it's easily in my top 5 for mississauga. the place has a cozy, intimate vibe with just a handful of tables, and the open kitchen is visible from the dining area, which adds to the charm. i've never had to wait long for a table, which is always a plus! their menu has a fantastic selection of italian dishes, from classic pasta and pizza to more authentic offerings like hand-breaded meat served with pasta and tomato sauce. my absolute favorite is the smoked duck carbonara--it's rich, flavorful, and never fails to hit the spot. we've tried several other dishes as well, and everything so far has been excellent! if you're in the port credit area and craving some really good italian food, i'd highly recommend stopping by. it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth a visit!

Came in on a weekend night and was able to get quickly seated inside. The place has a patio outside as well if you want outdoor seating. Pizza and Pasta: The pizza and pasta were alright, nothing too special. The pizza felt pretty standard but decent amount of toppings. The pasta was the same too, decent portions but nothing outstanding flavour wise. I would give it a 3.5/5 but the service was fast and the staff were friendly so decided to round up for 4. I wouldn't go out of my way but if you're in the area it's a decent option.

This unexpected mom and pop restaurant is heavenly. My boyfriend brought me here for dinner one night saying the pasta is amazing and he did not lie! We were seated at the bar and got really quick service. The restaurant filled up really quickly. I got the tortellini with pesto and my boyfriend got the fettuccine with Alfredo and chicken. The portions were large and the pasta was amazing. I ate till I was stuffed and then ate some more. Will definitely be going back.

We got Al Pollo pizza ( a thin crust pizza) It was ok. Not worth the price Not worth the hype. Taste is really plain. They have dine in option available. Small cute place. Free Parking is available behind the pizza location. Location is bit tricky but is right next to it. Staff is really friendly

Ended up at Papa Guiseppe's on a whim with my hubby, my mom and step dad - it was all of our first time dining out in a restaurant since the pandemic started. We had wandered by while in the area, looking for a dinner spot and lucked out when a reservation cancelled. All of the servers and the cooks (they have a part open kitchen that you can look into) had masks on which was great. We were told that we needed to wear our masks if heading to the restroom or moving about the restaurant - I was glad they seemed to be taking proper precautions to keep diners safe! We ordered bruschetta to start for the table, which was tasty. I ordered the ravioli, bae got the chicken parm, my mom had veal marsala, and my step dad chose the chicken pasta. I loved my meal as it was super yummy. I couldn't finish it all, it was a generous portion for sure. Everyone at the table said they enjoyed their dinners but we were all way too full to order any dessert. Would come back again if in the area!

Leave it up to this cute little Italian restaurant in Port Credit to stastify all your Italian cravings. My coworkers were raving about this spot, so I had to try them out! What we got: Margherita pizza: a classic executed perfectly. 4/5 bruschetta with goat cheese: everything about this was great, the bread was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, the perfect vehicle to catch all the tomatoes's juices. Unfortunately, I personally didn't like the goat cheese. 3/5 truffle sachchetti pasta: I love the creamy yet decadent nature of these cheese stuffed sachchetti. Paired with truffle oil will leave you want more after each bite! 5/5 Salmon piccata: was not a fan of this one, the salmon was on a skewered and you can tell it was just frozen salmon. Sauce was overly salty. 2/5 Overall, it's a hit or miss. Either the dishes was executed perfectly or it just wasn't. Stick to their signature/popular dishes and you should leave feeling satisfy!

This cute little gem nestled in Port Credit is great! Would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back. I came here with 2 of my girlfriends to catch up over wine, pizza, pasta and desserts. So here's how it went. Margareta pizza- 4/5 definitely tried better but for the authenticity and quality of it, I definitely enjoyed it. The pizza was a little on the saucy side, but it was flavourful regardless. I personally just like my pizza a little more well done, and not as saucy so this can use a little more improvement. I still enjoyed it to share between 3 people (in the middle) Gnocchi- was in a creamy sauce and very flavourful and filling. Out of the three pastas, I think I enjoyed this one the best, but I for sure would share this! It's quite heavy, but the flavours are wonderful. The gnocchi is fresh, the right texture, authentic and mmmm!! Tortellini - literally came here to try this as I saw many other YELPers try it! Definitely did not let down. It was well balanced, tossed in a Rose sauce, with surprises of Italian meats, and cheese, cheese, cheese! If you like cheese like me, order this :) I had enough plus left over! Would def try this again and recommend it. Bolognese - was yummy! More meat, and a good balance of cheese. Mmm. The pasta was great, not too soft, but was a generous portion! Tiramisu- all 3 of us girls got an order of tiramisu (we all had extra stomachs), but it was a great way to end off lunch! Would defffffinitely recommend this as well. Mmm! Authenticity coming right up. It was just the right amount of sweet, and fulfilling. Sangria- red wine, fruits, what's not to miss?? A pitcher for 24.99 Service- outstanding. That's probably what took me from a 4 to a 5/5. Server was very attentive, respectful, funny, and great! Would refill our waters when we were running low without us even asking, would pour our sangria out of the jug when we were just talking knowing it's running low as well. Enjoyed our company, as much as we enjoyed his! Overall- if you're looking for an authentic Italian joint that offers pizza, and pasta, come here! It maybe on the pricey side for some, but in all fairness, that's how much it should be for the overall experience they provide. Great environment. Service. Food. Wine, not? P.s. pay for parking on the street. Not too pricey. 3 hr max for $5

As for the calzone, definitely a huge pass on this one next time. Imo there was just too much bread and the ham filling wasn't the best. I'd say the pizza is their best dish - great portions too! The 16$ calamari only had 8-10 pieces which is small and the pizza was absolutely not worth 58$. Also was charged a beer but didn't even order it, my buddy split the bill so they double charged us. Haven't had Papa John's in years and I remember why it's not my go to. Prices are pretty consistent with other chains like Pizza Pizza, Dominoes, etc and they have frequent discounts. BUT, the pizza is mediocre, a surprising step below other chains. If pizza hut is too greasy, Papa johns is the other extreme and not greasy enough. The alfredo sauce base was also very bland and runny compared to other chains where its actually creamy and thick. Staff are fine and location is great, but too bad the food is mid. Sides were mixed - the cinnamon bites were great. Fresh, not too sweet, and baked to perfection. The cheesy bread was kind of lukewarm, and similar to the pizza, lacked flavour. The garlic dipping sauce it came with was similarly bland, like butter mixed with olive oil, and added nothing to the bread. It tasted a lot better by adding heavy Italian seasoning to it ( which I had at home) The pizza was subpar - main issues are that it's dry and thin. There's not enough sauce, the dough is a bit flat / not greasy enough, so it's honestly a bit like eating cardboard. Topping amount was solid but nothing mind blowing. The pizza is thin but unlike a specialty shop or restaurant, it's not crisp, so it also doesn't scratch that itch. Maybe it's just not my taste but I enjoy pizza with discernible sauce on it and more flavour. This was about the same as baking a pizza from the grocery store. Like others said, many other options and pizza is a guilty pleasure so I likely won't return to use up my cheat day on this stuff.
