Palma Pasta is a great spot for a quick pasta meal or coffee and pastry. The indoor dining area is neat and the outdoor benches are pleasant on a nice day. They have a great selection of pastas and sides: canneloni, agnolotti, tortellini, lasagna, fettuccini, etc. With daily specials as well as staple classics, it is easy to find something for any picky family member. Our personal favorite is the mushroom ravioli, which we take home frozen. The house vodka sauce or pink sauce pairs nicely. But we've enjoyed pretty much everything we've tried so far. I really appreciate the convenience and quality. For dinner you can get a large tray pasta, salad, fresh bread rolls, italian sodas, and pie for dessert. Throw the tray and pie in the oven, and voila, a magnificent meal for 4-6 in under an hour. With covid petering out, it will probably be a decent spot for family style dining. Prices are reasonable. Ample parking in the back. Note they close around dinner time.

Did you know they have amazing cold cut sandwiches? Quick pick up panini pressed roast beer, havarti cheese, with red peppers, mushrooms and thick cut onions all sautéed and falling out of this fresh huge bun! $10 u can't go wrong.

This s a place we have wanted to try for some time and finally had chance for lunch on a Sunday just before noon. This place is a decent sized place, with seating in the front, and the hot food section at the back, and a pizza station, bread and some grocery options in the middle. Since this was our first time here, we had to figure out how things worked. The person behind the hot table was patient and kind enough to explain how to order. Basically, it is cafeteria style and here you can order a la cart or a combo. The combo consists of one meat, one side dish and a roll for $8.99. The meats include such items as the roast pork, veal parmigiana, sausage, roast chicken and meat loaf. The sides include vegetable dishes and all of their daily pasta dishes, including the meat lasagna. They also sell hot sandwiches for (veal, meatball, etc.) for $7.99 and Pizzas for around $5 or $6 (we didn't order those this time or the other items they have). For our lunch we ordered: Meatloaf with lasagna combo Veal Parmigiana with lasagna combo Veal Parmigiana (topped with onions and mushrooms) The food quality is outstanding. Everything was fresh and seems like it was made with care. The price for what they offered is also on point. I would not be surprised if this place ends up on one of those best cheap eats places in some food article, blog or in a Yelp Collection (maybe it already is, but I haven't checked).

One of the best Italian food I've tasted in Mississauga. I'm all about a good Italian food and for the last couple of years it's been pain staking going to Italian restaurants only to feel ripped off because it's too expensive. I am super happy to have been recommended to Palma Pasta, It's Delicious, Cheap, Quick, and Affordable. They do Catering, Cafeteria, and Italian Specialty foods. The staff are friendly maybe sometimes not too professional at their job, but they are quick to give you a warm welcome. Recommendation: The Meatballs have to be the best meatballs I've ever had, they do contain gluten. The Lasagna is great!, extra cheesy, and the sauce is staple. I am convinced anything with that sauce would taste good. haha What I would like to see: More options for salad! Give Maybe a chicken ceaser salad, or caprese salad!

As per expected from a mass-produced hot table for the lunch crowd. Nothing more, nothing less. I've had Palma Pasta bookmarked for a while, but only got to it now. Atmosphere was clean, there was a small dine-in area, and it wasn't busy at 12:30pm. Offerings were various types of pastas including tortellini, penne, lasagna ($5.75, but not sure of serving size), & one in a cream sauce. There were also cuts of meats (veal, chicken) in sauces for Italian sandwiches. Lady behind the counter was efficient and seemed friendly. I got the special of the day, Chicken Sorrentino (basically a flat, breaded white meat with another flat, breaded piece of eggplant with some melted cheese & tomato on top) with pasta at $7.95. Portion was decent for price, at least 2-3 servings. I choose the penne and it was alright. Made from dry pasta, slightly overcooked, sauce was nothing special. Chicken faired slightly better, breading was seasoned, but chicken itself was not. Sorta bland. Criticism: Packaging did not survive the trip to Square One, a 2.5 block drive! Cardboard cover came loose and spilled all inside the plastic bag, making the eating a bit difficult. Would I go back? Maybe if I was in the area. Are there better options? Definitely!

If you love your pasta this is the place to buy it. From spaghetti , macaroni, they have it all are favourite is the meat ravioli. Just add it to boiling hot water for 12min and you done add you home made sauce and you have a great meal. They also have a hot table it looks good but I never tried it . They have a few locations in Mississauga but this is head office and just a few min from my home. This location closes earlier then there other locations. A must try is there lobster ravioli a bit pricey but so good.

If you like pasta, it doesn't get much better. When cooking at home try fresh instead of dried, and you'll see the difference.

I don't like the cornbread breading although my mom did. Dip was good through. Also had the focaccia which we were tricked into getting by the waiter. After we put in our orders he asked if we wanted focaccia, implying that it was complimentary. While it was good I felt misled as we wouldn't have ordered it if we knew it wasn't free. There are better things to get. There was a special monkfish wrapped with bacon. Overcooked and small. Vegetables that came with it was nice Mushroom risotto here is much celebrated so we had to try. This tells me the people who eat here don't get out too often. It tastes ok but clearly tasted like truffle flavour was all from a bottle they poured onto it in the end. The truffle taste felt like it was on top of the dish instead of incorporated into the dish. Overall meh. It these guys have the audacity to charge downtown toronto prices. It's not that good. Service was mediocre. Got an Italian man who looked like he was there for awhile. Said the right things but was absent most of the time. Gave me a chipped plate and instead of replacing it he said he noticed the chip too. Well that makes you look worse dude. Had leftovers and they boxed it for us. Later found out they put our fried appetizer with the wet seafood. That kills the crisp and is pretty stupid to be honest.

There is a lot of care taken into the bar arrangement, as it is visually stunning as well as containing amazing offerings especially in the wine category. Good for a Mississauga Italian restaurant…read more Capra's is clearly dedicated towards making Italian food the right way. In the back there is a dedicated pasta making station while the front has pizza and charcuterie stations as well. Service was nice and friendly. Exactly what it should be for a casual dining restaurant. Food was good but not spectacular. Risotto special featuring shrimp and mushrooms had a nice flavour but the risotto was undercooked and too hard. Malfadie Alla norcina was excellent and heavy. Creamy truffle taste coupled with sausage was the best dish of the day. Spicy pepperoni pizza was the best of the two pizzas. Clearly fresh and good flavour. Pizza dough was nice and thin. Pizza Bianca was a miss for us. The soft texture of the potato on top of the pizza was very strange to us and made the entire pizza feel weird. Overall, a repeatable solid Mississauga Italian place. I'd come back.

I came here for a friends birthday and made reservations. We were somewhat a large group (~10 people). The table set up was great and overall a nice vibe inside. We ordered a margarita pizza for the table and also had some calamari. I also ordered a calzone. The calamari was great - I really liked the lemon aioli it came with. As for the calzone, definitely a huge pass on this one next time. Imo there was just too much bread and the ham filling wasn't the best. I'd say the pizza is their best dish - great portions too! I wish they had a larger desert menu. They only had an Italian donut the time I visited.

The calamari was delicious, just the right amount of seasoning and the sauce was good. The pizza was decent, the toppings were falling off the pizza (which I hated) but the toppings were fresh and the dough was good. The overall experience is 2 stars only because the price for both dishes wasn't up to par with the food. The 16$ calamari only had 8-10 pieces which is small and the pizza was absolutely not worth 58$. Also was charged a beer but didn't even order it, my buddy split the bill so they double charged us. Didn't even know until we left, but will not be coming back again.

My personal favorite is the Jambalaya Pasta. It's a little spicy and very flavorful. Since someone has a seafood allergy, she is very thoughtful and offered to substitute more chicken for us. They even have a candle warmer for the pizza, which was a first-time experience for me. You can enjoy the pizza at a warm temperature without it becoming hard. As for the Steak Frites, it was tasty. Upon first glance, you realize it's a bar that one side has been converted into a dining area. Filled mostly with large booths and some tables. The evening we went, the place was packed but we managed to snag a booth. Menu is extensive and while it serves "Italian inspired" dishes, it mostly caters to a specific crowd that favours bland bar food. We ordered calamari, which was not good and each had pasta; fettuccine alfredo and butternut squash agnolotti. None of the dishes stood out. My vegetarian agnolotti was mediocre, lacking in flavour. The fettuccine had a whole lot of noodles and not much chicken, as advertised. Service was great. Lacy, our server was funny and super sarcastic. Shooting the breeze with her was fun. Pretty much the highlight of our evening. That and their beautiful bathroom! My buddy goes to the bathroom and comes back to tell me you have to check out the bathroom. I'm thinking he's trying to be funny and ask, is it a disaster? He says, no, it's beautiful. I say, what bathroom is going to be beautiful in this dive.. What usually compels me to eat at a restaurant is the cleanliness of their washroom, assuming I've seen it prior to. Anyway I go in and I'm impressed. 10/10. If they put in as much effort into their food as they did for the bathroom, they'd be winning. Should've taken a picture. Surprised no one has.
