SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS-Housemade beef and pork meatballs in rich meat sauce over spaghettini

Nice family style restaurant. Great service, very good sized portions, and food is decent but not stellar. Service was excellent. The hostess was attentive and friendly. Our server was also great. She came to check on us periodically. She was professional, friendly and offered some good suggestions when asked. The mozzarella sticks were okay. They would be appealing to a wide range of undiscerning palates. The spaghetti and meatballs, had three large size meatballs but the meatballs themselves tasted like they may have had a bit too much filler. The Gorgonzola and pear pizza tasty ok; however, the crust was uninspiring. The crust lacked chew and stretch. It was rather doughy and dense.

The waiter said the restaurant specialized in pizza and pasta, but honestly I was pretty disappointed with my selection. I got the spicy Italian sausage pizza which is usually a go to for me at other Italian restaurants. The pizza sauce had a kick to it, but it was very salty and too sour for my liking. In addition I was expecting the pizza to be stone oven baked with thin crispy crust, instead it had a pretty generic base. We also ordered a tiramisu to share for dessert, it was honestly very average as well. I've had better tiramisu at Longos bakery. They lady finger was pretty dry and at times you will be hit with a spoonful of really sweet cream and sauce. My friend did order a lobster ravioli which had amazing sauce. If you come to this place I would recommend getting the pastas instead.

How this place had 4 stars in previous reviews are beyond me! Those people must have never dined out before. First off we were a party of 11, they split us up against the wall divided us into two sections of 6 (3 tables each) but we wanted to be one big table, so we moved tables our selves. The place was mostly empty middle of the week for lunch. Next was the food, the only decent part of the meal were I have to say the appetizers! Pasta frutti which were like a nachos to share. They tasted like deep fried wonton wrappers with cheese and gooey cream cheese, peppers, onions, olives and sausage and which was the delicious. The calamari frutti was decent, probably just frozen hen breaded and fried. The wings I did not try, as it's probably only frozen. The worst was the mains. I thought this place specializes in Italian? My cousins Lobster Ravioli was over cooked, I'm sure it's just prepackaged? So all u had to do was boil it and toss it in sauce! Frozen cocktail shrimp on top with no taste! This was $27!! Can you think of what's worst then over cooked Pasta in an Italian restaurant?!? I'm sure there are nonnas rolling in their grave!! I had the lunch special, chicken pesto penne with a side of Caesar salad. The lemon on the Caesar was frozen! So makes me think the salad must be well prepared in advanced! It was overly dressed just sprinkled with bacon and real grated Parmesan upon serving. How does someone over cook pasta at an Italian restaurant?!? You have one job! It was soft and mushy! I prefer my pasta undercooked than over. Most of the dishes were over cooked. Their pizza let me tell you are medium deep dish pizza style from Pizza Hut. DONT ORDER Pizza unless u like them thickly carbed. Lava cake was also overdone! Of course, not surprised, no lava, t was just over cooked chocolate cake. When the guy came and asked us whether everything was good good? After expressing the pasta could be better and less over cooked he barely acknowledged it, gave me a look and walked away. No sorry no apologies, no I'll let the chef know... If you want Italian best to drive a little further to a chain such as Scaddabush or Jamie Oliver's than this crap of a place.

The food is excellent! Doesn't matter what you order. The service is professional and friendly. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant

Delicious!! I was craving Italian food and thankfully this place was just nearby! The food and service was excellent! We came as a group of 6 so we ordered a number of plates to share and try! Everything was so flavourful but my absolute favorites were the polenta bites, the lobster and shrimp pasta, and the sticky toffee pudding. The sticky toffee pudding is a MUST TRY! We ordered it with a side of ice cream and it went perfectly with the warm spiced sponge cake! I recommend this place if you're in the Oakville area!

Ratings: Food: 9/10 Drink: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Value: 9/10 Hygiene: 10/10 Aesthetics: 9/10 This restaurant is in a little bit of a random location. The first few times I passed by, I thought it was a plaza or a store. This place is definitely one of the less expensive places to get quality Italian food in Oakville. This place does a fantastic job with their drinks and food. The cocktails are always good and the quality of the food is always good. The cost of a typical entrée is around $15-20. The quality and portions are great. My favourite thing here though has to be the sticky toffee pudding with a scoop of ice cream (this is a must). It's a decent sized portion, so I usually share one after the entrée. The only thing I wish they had here would be fresh pasta, rather than the imported stuff. It has a very rustic feel, similar to a marche for decor. I like the open kitchen, it adds a little bit of liveliness to the restaurant. It has a lot of seats from booths to tables, so they are able to cater to larger groups as well as small groups. The service here is very friendly and they were attentive and prompt. They do pay attention to quality, and will try to make sure you're satisfied with your meal. A great place to go if you don't want to head downtown Oakville for Italian food, and they do a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend this place.

Over cooked, over salty and overpriced . This was all based on delivery, so if the dining-in experience is better....you were lucky.

TLDR; Authentic upscale Italian restaurants with many many ingredients flown in from Italy. Amazing…read moreflavours and such great quality within each dish. You know it's good when you can't go wrong with anything you order :) I've been here a handful of times but this time I came in for a quick bite on a Friday and, as expected, they were full. We sat by the bar but it was honestly an amazing experience. The Bartender (Jerry) was fun company and made us some delectable and beautiful custom cocktails of Gin Sour (8/10) and Lychee Martini (9/10). We started off with their Beef Tenderloin Carpaccio (8.5/10) which was very tender and light in flavour, and also their Grilled Octopus (10/10) which was perfectly grilled and a girthy size hahha! This sauce was sooo good btw - worth using all your sourdough bread to soak it up! Their Carbonara (10/10) was delicious, I was really craving carbonara and this hit. the. spot! Their Seafood Linguini (9/10) was also very flavourful as well and the amount of seafood they toss in there is generous - recommend to add a bit of their Italian House Chili ;) Ended off with their Strawberry Gelato (5/10) which was a bit too tart for my liking, I do miss their Pistachio Gelato (10/10) so much - please bring it back! :( Visited: Friday, February 2nd 2024 @ 8pm
