First impressions, the place is bustling and busy. It was packed when we arrived but we still got the table at our reservation time. The service took a while, our server was busy with many customers but the food was so good. We got the sausage and pepperoni pizza and butter squash ravioli, they both tasted amazing. However, the desserts were a little disappointing. The looked better than they tasted. Got the flour less chocolate cake and creme brule cheesecake, I didnt like the brownie part in both the desserts but that could have been just me.

A nice Italian spot at Yonge & Eglinton! Food - 4/5 Bruschetta - 4/5 - Fresh tomatoes and oil, and a nice crunchy toast. Not the best I've ever had, but still really good! Shrimp pasta (can't remember the name) - 4/5 - it was really tasty and creamy! I'd get it again! Tiramisu - 4/5 - also creamy, and a nice touch to end the meal. Service - 5/5 - Friendly staff and fast service! Didn't have to look for a waiter, they always came to check on us. Ambiance - 5/5 - Perfect for a casual date; not too fancy, but still has character and a good ambiance to chat. Overall, pretty good and I'd come back!

One of the OGs in Toronto's Italian food scene. Simple, hearty, and always hits the spot.

Let me preface this by saying that my wife and I worked in the service industry for over 10 years. I'm currently a chef and our experience wasn't the best and it's pretty disappointing as we love Grazie. We came yesterday for Mother's Day May 10th 2026. The drinks and appetizers were delicious but after that everything went down. We waited about 20 minutes before the server came to check on us and order food. Our reservation was at 4:45pm. We saw a couple tables sit after us and being treated better and faster. We order the food and we waiting 51 minutes for the food. I asked politely to the server what's happening with our food and the server before checking with the kitchen excuse the kitchen and said to me we are busy. (I ran many 400+ guest service and never made a table wait longer than 25 minutes) when we finally got the food, My brother's and dad's food wasn't the same even thought they order the same food. The piece of veal were completely different cuts and seasoned differently. My mom's veal parmigiana was too dark which means they were using old oil which led to my mom feeling sick, my wife food was good but you can't really messed up ravioli. And my food which is the one on the picture, was cold. I stop eating and let everyone else enjoy their food. The manager or owner I don't know who he is came over and ask if everything was good I said: their dishes are not mine, it's cold. He grabbed the plate and said: that's weird. The plate is warm. You want something else or you want me to pack it to go? I said no thank you he took the plate. Didn't say anything. If you leave a plate on the hot pass for long enough the plate will get hot on the bottom but not the pasta itself. I understand bad services happen but how you respond to your guests it's what matters. I felt insulted and if I didn't know better I would accepted but like I said I know how to run a kitchen and a restaurant and this wasn't it. They charge me for the pasta. Ended up paying $350. And had to go home to make food. It's sad that a place like this only care about certain people and not everyone. And the worst part is that we went out to celebrate my mom and the whole experience was just ruined. Being human and acknowledging a mistake makes you better. But if the people running the restaurant don't care about being accountable or people that don't look like their regulars, it will never be a pleasant experience. Sadly, I know this are just words and the management team will never care and most likely acknowledge this but they should. Be more human. Care for each guest or not work in a restaurant.

Had the best experience at Grazie in Toronto! We hosted a party of 29 people and everything was spot on. The food was absolutely delicious, hot, fresh, and kept coming without a hitch. The drinks were flowing and the whole night just had a great vibe. Big thank you to Carlos, who was incredible, and also to Angelo and the management team for running such a smooth and welcoming operation. The staff was so attentive and genuinely cared that everyone was having a great time. If you're looking for a spot to celebrate something special or just want a fantastic meal out Grazie is the place. Can't recommend it enough! Bum

I've been to both locations of Grazie and both have great service, waiters are very responsive amd fast with requests. The ambiance is very relaxed it's a chill restaurant a little bit fancy the food is affordable for the quality of food everything is very fresh. The food is all very filling everything I had was flavourful and fresh I always get the shrimp linguine the portion of shrimp is good and they are cooked perfectly not over done. The flat breads are a good appetizer to share amongst the table

The host sat us quickly on a busy Friday night, food was all delicious. We had the bread, Catrina, calamari, and it was all delicious. Gorgeous restaurant and ambiance was nice and clean restrooms. Highly recommend visiting this spot.

Great pasta and service here. Ordered the penza which was rigatoni with creamy tomato sauce and spicy pancetta. A little bit of Parmesan and red chili flakes on top made this dish extra comforting and spicy.

Love this local Italian place! It's always busy everytime I pass by here and now I finally know why! Great service and delicious yet affordable food! Enjoyed their free bread - the olive oil and chilli oil were delish! We got a pasta and a pizza. Imo, the pasta was by far the best thing that night - creamy yet earthy and fresh; all the ingredients really made it a balanced dish. The pizza was decent but i thought the diced tomatoes really overpowered everything else. Surprisingly, their virgin mojito was better than the sangria I got! Would definitely come back to try other items :)

Lovely classic Italian spot in midtown Toronto. I went to this restaurant on Friday night and it was almost full house, so I suggest making a reservation. We ordered Pasta - BASTA. It was amazing, and so creamy. We also ordered the pizza - Romana, it was okay. Their pastas are better than their pizza in my opinion. Prices are fair for the portion sizes. Definitely will come back again!

Came back again for the second time, the meatballs to start were as delicious as the last time. This time I went with the steak recommended by Carlos, whose service was excellent and personal even with the high bar set by David last time. Atmosphere was homey and warm, welcoming and amazing food paired with lovely service! Highly recommended!!

Pear, pancetta and arugula salad (divine!)

We went on a mid Sunday afternoon and although made a reservation, didn't need it. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and our server was great. He was attentive without being overbearing. A young woman also was helping clear our table and get us extra bread as soon my boys devoured it. We each got something different: a pizza (very good), vodka pasta (delicious), skirt steak special (husband loved it) and a pasta dish with salmon (different but yummy). I also started with a pear and pancetta salad - delicious!!! It was a generous portion and every bite delicious. I could have stopped there and been very content. We shared the homemade tiramisu, and it didn't disappoint. I know there are a lot of Italian options in Toronto, but based on our visit today, we would recommend to others and go back if we return to Toronto! Grazie!

There is an upstairs balcony seating but I've never sat there. During warm weather, there is plenty of roadside outdoor seating too. This is my fourth time here but I never wrote a review fir the restaurant before. We ordered the following: 1. Shrimp Perno (daily special $6/shrimp). Jumbo Shrimp sautéed in garlic, white wine, tomatoes, scallions, and finished off with a shot of perno liquor. 2. Rack of Lamb (daily special $59.95). Four pieces of lamb in a rack, with a rich portion wine reduced sauce, that has a touch of mint to it, and Penne Pasta in a tomato rose sauce. The table bread was really good. The crust was crispy but the inside was fluffy. The soft butter that came it was so tasty. The bread was perfect for dipping in the sauce that came with the shrimp. We asked for a second basket of bread and they put two loafs in the second basket. It was too much so they were willing to let us take it home. The shrimps were definitely jumbo. It was so filling. Two pieces (per person) were good enough as an appetizer. The shrimps were perfectly cooked. We requested the lamb be cooked medium rare. It was definitely medium rare. It was juicy and did not have a gamey taste. It tastes great. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The tomato rose sauce was really good. They offered to grind parmesan cheese and pepper so we got both. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking and paid parking lots. Review 2025-187

It's a dining experience you don't see every day in Toronto. Even the washrooms are memorable, tucked away in the basement in what used to be old jail cells, which adds to the charm and gives the whole place a bit of personality. We went for an early Sunday dinner before a concert at Massey Hall. The restaurant got pretty busy as the evening went on, but it never felt chaotic. The atmosphere is lovely and lively, a great choice for a special night out or a pre-show meal. We started with Calamari alla Griglia with mixed greens, capers, onions, and fresh tomatoes. It was a fresh, bright appetizer with good balance. For mains, my date had the Spaghetti in Canna a Mare with clams, mussels, calamari, scallop, and tiger shrimp in a tomato sauce. The menu described it as mildly spicy, but it definitely had a noticeable kick. Still, the flavours were really good. I ordered the Ravioli al Brasato with braised beef, butter, sage, and parmigiano. It was tasty and comforting, though portion-wise I could have used a few more ravioli. I was still a bit hungry after and honestly double the size would have been perfect for me. For dessert we shared the Tiramisu with espresso-soaked savoiardi, mascarpone, and cocoa. I had an amaro while my date finished with zambuca. A sweet and satisfying way to wrap up the meal. The service was friendly, though drinks came out a bit slower than expected. Terroni's food is tasty, the setting is gorgeous, and it's easy to see why locals keep coming back. It's not cheap, but the quality and ambience make it worth trying, especially for dinner before a show or a relaxed date night in one of Toronto's most unique spaces.

There were four flights of stairs to get up to the first floor with the bar and main dining area. There was another two flights of stairs to get to the upper bar (which I was too tired to walk up to). The drinks at the bar were good and the staff were all great. We started with passed apps. Some of the flavour combinations were just off (the skewer with fruit, cheese and something else) - like they paired the wrong cheese with the fruit. The meal itself was a seat down meal (family style) which did take over two hours to complete for the amount of guests that were present (over 200 ppl). My favorite dish was the tomato and mozza salad. My most disappointed dish was the ragu pasta. Though containing a good amount of meat it was not saucy at all. The pizza was the brocolini was good as well. The reason I gave this restaurant three stars is strictly for the lack of elevator and the food quality vs the price. For what you are paying, there is so much higher quality food in the city and I honestly think you can get better bang for buck elsewhere.

This is a wine bar - the house lager was bad (maybe my own bad decision) and the red I got was fine ... nothing to write home about. However place fell apart with the food - the shrimp came with 5 medium sized shrimp with the tails, legs and shells on and were under seasoned. The artichokes were mediocre (loved the sauce they came with). Worst of all was the "Ontario peaches" with the burrata were totally canned peaches - could've even been dole brand! This place has amazing potential with the location and vibe - but the food just was not it. Small portions and the price didn't match what was served. The service was friendly but nothing too crazy. Our server was great at helping us pick our wine, he mentioned that their wines are all on the dry side which is perfect for me, I'm not one for sweet wines. We also had two of their small plates the mussels and the burrata. The mussels tasted great with the sauce, a little garlicky which I prefer. The combination of the peach and mint went really well with the burrata. Light and easy to eat. The patio at night is one of the highlights. The only small complaint was it did take a while to get our wine after we ordered it and a little while to get our check. Otherwise cute spot.
