Visit Soronnos for homemade classic Italian food. The space is warm and cosy... with only 16 seats. Call for reservations for large groups. Everything is homemade and all the sauces are made from scratch... the best tomato sauce!! Chef Tony originally from Puglia uses recipes handed down from family. Everything is made fresh and never frozen. They also make a great loaded steak sandwich with grilled onions and mushrooms. Homemade burgers Italian style topped with pesto. Leave room for handcrafted gelato... lots of yummy flavours. My fave is pistachio!! Visit Nadia and Chef Tony!!

Pasta portions are HUGE! Feeds like 3-4ppl. So keep in mind when you see the price!

A bit torn about writing this review since it's for a new, small business and they seem like super pleasant people. However, I do want to provide an honest review about my impressions. At first glance of the menu, I thought the prices were a bit high for a casual, primarily takeout restaurant. HOWEVER, looking at the menu now, especially the burgers/sandwiches (just under $20) comes with fries/drink while other places may not. I think it would be more attractive to lower the prices as not everyone wants a combo. I don't know how big it is, but seeing a $19 Veal Sandwich breaks my heart. This is something that I'd grab at the local bakery, all the time as a kid, and I've never seen it at that price anywhere on a menu. The prices of the pastas seemed high too, but when I got home, it is literally good for 3-4ppl...literally!!! Pastas are also hover at just under $20. If the menu indicated the size, I think I'd feel less hesitant about trying it out! When I ordered the Bolognese and the lady who picked up the phone, very pleasant, said that they were busy and it would take about 40mins. Since I wasn't in a rush, I wasn't bothered. However, if you're in a rush, I'd advise you to order well ahead of when your stomach starts grumbling as you may have to wait. I was surprised that the Bolognese came with penne. Usually it comes with long pasta like spaghetti/tagliatelle, no? Not only did it come with short pasta, but it was overcooked. (Overcooked pasta is my personal pet peeve when I order pasta at an Italian restaurant.) Although the sauce was homemade both the sauce/pasta wasn't seasoned well enough. It needed more salt. I'd say that this dish was more like home cooking as opposed to dining out. Since diners are a bit more price-sensitive now with all the increases that are going on elsewhere, I personally would prefer half the portion esp pasta with price adjusted accordingly &/or take out the garlic bread even to get the prices to a more palatable level. The owners were kind enough to include a few pieces of cheesecake (??) with my order as a sign of appreciation. It was very sweet of them, so hence my apprehension of writing a less than stellar review. I'd definitely check them out again and encourage others to do so as they are the new kid on the block! Maybe my experience with the food was just a one-off.

Amazing food. Huge portions. We took home enough for two more meals! Very quaint and homey. Small, only room for 12 customers in house.

There is a lot of care taken into the bar arrangement, as it is visually stunning as well as containing amazing offerings especially in the wine category. Food wise, everything was so clean tasting and with generous portions. Pasta is made in-house and you can tell. It's fresh, perfectly cooked, and looks beautiful. Staff were so welcoming and we were treated like family. Can't wait to come back!

In the back there is a dedicated pasta making station while the front has pizza and charcuterie stations as well. Service was nice and friendly. Exactly what it should be for a casual dining restaurant. Food was good but not spectacular. Risotto special featuring shrimp and mushrooms had a nice flavour but the risotto was undercooked and too hard. Malfadie Alla norcina was excellent and heavy. Creamy truffle taste coupled with sausage was the best dish of the day. Spicy pepperoni pizza was the best of the two pizzas. Clearly fresh and good flavour. Pizza dough was nice and thin. Pizza Bianca was a miss for us. The soft texture of the potato on top of the pizza was very strange to us and made the entire pizza feel weird. Overall, a repeatable solid Mississauga Italian place. I'd come back.

I came here for a friends birthday and made reservations. We were somewhat a large group (~10 people). The table set up was great and overall a nice vibe inside. We ordered a margarita pizza for the table and also had some calamari. I also ordered a calzone. The calamari was great - I really liked the lemon aioli it came with. As for the calzone, definitely a huge pass on this one next time. Imo there was just too much bread and the ham filling wasn't the best. I'd say the pizza is their best dish - great portions too! I wish they had a larger desert menu. They only had an Italian donut the time I visited.

The calamari was delicious, just the right amount of seasoning and the sauce was good. The pizza was decent, the toppings were falling off the pizza (which I hated) but the toppings were fresh and the dough was good. The overall experience is 2 stars only because the price for both dishes wasn't up to par with the food. The 16$ calamari only had 8-10 pieces which is small and the pizza was absolutely not worth 58$. Also was charged a beer but didn't even order it, my buddy split the bill so they double charged us. Didn't even know until we left, but will not be coming back again.

My personal favorite is the Jambalaya Pasta. It's a little spicy and very flavorful. Since someone has a seafood allergy, she is very thoughtful and offered to substitute more chicken for us. When it arrived, there was a lot of chicken, and it was tender. Also, their House Special Pizza is presented really well. They even have a candle warmer for the pizza, which was a first-time experience for me. You can enjoy the pizza at a warm temperature without it becoming hard. As for the Steak Frites, it was tasty. The beef seasoning is perfect, not too salty.

Upon first glance, you realize it's a bar that one side has been converted into a dining area. Filled mostly with large booths and some tables. The evening we went, the place was packed but we managed to snag a booth. Menu is extensive and while it serves "Italian inspired" dishes, it mostly caters to a specific crowd that favours bland bar food. We ordered calamari, which was not good and each had pasta; fettuccine alfredo and butternut squash agnolotti. None of the dishes stood out. My vegetarian agnolotti was mediocre, lacking in flavour. The fettuccine had a whole lot of noodles and not much chicken, as advertised. Service was great. Lacy, our server was funny and super sarcastic. Shooting the breeze with her was fun. Pretty much the highlight of our evening. That and their beautiful bathroom! My buddy goes to the bathroom and comes back to tell me you have to check out the bathroom. I'm thinking he's trying to be funny and ask, is it a disaster? He says, no, it's beautiful. I say, what bathroom is going to be beautiful in this dive.. What usually compels me to eat at a restaurant is the cleanliness of their washroom, assuming I've seen it prior to. Anyway I go in and I'm impressed. 10/10. If they put in as much effort into their food as they did for the bathroom, they'd be winning. Should've taken a picture. Surprised no one has.
