Interesting place with some unique Japanese anime inspired decor, although the ramen is very mid-level.
I ordered the Kumamoto Tonkotsu Ramen (GBP 15.60)- there were only 3 pieces of pork, and the other ingredients (bean sprouts, egg, nori, etc.) were very standard / not very noteworthy. The broth was not particularly flavorful.
The fried pork gyoza was decent and they brought it out on a hot cast iron skillet.
I also got a Punchy drink (GBP 5), which was just a canned drink but it was actually quite good and refreshing since it was only lightly carbonated with a fresh cucumber, yuzu, and rosemary flavor.
The service was okay- you order with a QR code and the service speed is fine. The staff were average friendliness.
Overall, if you happen to be in the area and are craving some ramen, this could be a good casual spot to go, but I would not recommend going out of your way to come here. read more
