Paul C said he noticed that Nadine C has been checking in here so he made mental note to check this place out the next time he's around the area. When I mentioned that I was going to Kaneohe to meet a client, he suggested Pan's Kitchen. I couldn't decide on where to eat so I decided to check them out. My lunch buddy was unfortunately busy but she recommended that I try the Mochiko Chicken. Off I went to the Windward side. This restaurant is located in a older building with all the businesses sharing a private lot. When I walked in, the place was spacious and clean. There was a line to order so I got excited. I was set on the Mochiko Chicken but when I saw the specials board, I decided to order something else. Ultimately I ordered their Mochiko Chicken and Rib-Eye Jun w/Toss Salad vs Mac Salad. The cashier was friendly and efficient. She took orders and payments while calling out orders to the kitchen in Chinglish. It didn't take long before I received my plate. The portions were huge! So huge that my to go plate lunch box couldn't close. The Mochiko Chicken had an interesting batter to it and it was a different interpretation than what I'm accustomed to. It ranks about average for me. The Rib-Eye Jun was so tender and flavorful but I didn't care too much for the dipping sauce. Salad was plain with a package of dressing on the side. Tomatoes were a little soft and old but overall the meal was good. 3.5 stars read more

Today, June 1, 2018, is the First Day of Business for Pan's Kitchen... I watched in anticipation for this day to come. (I saw them bring the new refrigerators in on May 4th!) The location is the former site of Chun's BBQ House (which needed renovation). It shares the parking lot with Nanko Fishing Supplies. I pass by every day after work because it is on my way home. I am so glad that this new business has come to Kaneohe! The advertised special is the All Day Breakfast for $5.79. The choice of meat is: bacon, ham, spam, link sausage, corned beef hash, Vienna sausage, and Portuguese sausage - which is what I got. It comes with 2 eggs and toast, hash browns or rice - I got wheat toast and over easy eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly! It's plain, simple, and quick... so convenient because I just wanna eat and go to sleep after my graveyard shift! Service is so helpful and friendly. This family moved from the Big Island because their children go to college in Honolulu. Let's support local! Let's support education and making an honest living! They were so nice to me. I had changed purse and forgot to bring my wallet. They told me to pay tomorrow... What? No way... I got my wallet and paid them for their trust and for the beautiful, cheerful environment that they installed! The flooring... wow! The ceiling and walls are so clean and nicely painted! There's comfortable air conditioning, too! Good job! I'll be back for the plate lunches, bowls, and burgers! Can't wait to try it all! Let's eat here! P.S. the WiFi code is pan12345. read more

This place is new! It is located right across from Windward Hyundai dealership and in the same little area as the fishing store. There is plenty of parking! They have a great variety of local food. And it is at a very fair price. The portion size is bigger than usually. Definitely a must try, who knows maybe it will be your favorite! I got the garlic ahi plate. It came with a lot of rice, Mac salad, and white rice. Next time I'll probably ask for toss salad instead of rice. My husband ordered the pork chop plate. He was very indecisive, but the lady was so helpful and nice! Overall, definitely will come back and tell our friends. The breakfast seems yummy too and quite a deal! read more

Delicious food, quick service! Very clean and simple. Perfect for a low key breakfast or simple dinner!

I drive over the hill to Kaneohe just to get their Kim Chee Fried Rice., I love their fried Rice. I order before I drive the H3 to Kaneohe and my order is ready when I get there. Sometimes it can get crowded but many booths to eat in. Gotta try it read more

Great orange chicken, average burgers and the fries are plentiful. The fries come unseasoned which is nice because you can decide how much you want to use. Excellent prices and friendly staff. read more

Pans is a typical Hawaiian style plate lunch place that leans Chinese. Food is good. Some of our favorites are the breakfast plates. Pancakes. French toast. Chicken katsu. Pork bowl with egg on top. Grilled salmon. Don't order these things expecting some kind of five star revolutionary experience. Think more along the lines of L&L. Still good is good and prices are right. The Chinese influence pops up on certain dishes. For example roast pork is sort of like local roast pork but it has a slight Chinese flavor to it. Not like some other places that are covered with local style brown gravy all over. It's good just different. Overall try them out. Breakfast is great and lunch dinner is good for us when kids got practices and we get home late. read more

Workers here are awesome and kind. Foods decent & their prices are GREAT. A hidden gem

What a gem! Tucked away in an industrial part of Kaneohe across from Windward Jeep. This is no Bull blue collar eatery. If you see loads of workers in yellow safety shirts you know the food is good right away. Standard local breakfast with eggs rice and choice of meat under $7! What!! You want high Maka Maka they have the loco moco and kimchi fried rice too. Good local food done right. You rarely hit the trifecta of good, fast and cheap. Highly recommend. read more

We barely had the chance to eat. My friends and I never ate here before and so for our first time going we were excited to eat at Pan's Kitchen because we've heard great reviews on the food. A member of my group was asking the lady at the counter a few questions regarding items on the menu and she progressively kept getting angry after every question, she kept rolling her eyes and slapping her notebook down on the counter. She asks if my friend would still order her meal because she had the chef start cooking the sausages. Mind you we were not ready to order yet. So overall she was super rude and we left. The food may have been great, but I refuse to eat where someone is disrespectful over simple service things. I would know what decent service is like since I work in that industry. And it wasn't worth my day so we left and went somewhere else. read more

I absolutely love this place and I'm a gourmet cook. I've loved everything I've ever had here. Today I enjoyed the chicken katsu Loco moco and onion rings. It's only the second time I've ordered an egg dish there and she remembered how I liked my eggs cooked. You can't beat the aloha. I don't recommend the hash browns because they are the frozen pattie kine like you get at McD. Breakfast great, oxtail soup pricey and delightful, pork roast good, burgers fries and onion rings ono, I'll update as I work through her vast menu. Do go. read more

Good food with great prices! My favorite place for a tasty quick breakfast !!! Generous portions too....

the asian lady is very rude and obvious only like your money. caution...rip off! to have a business and make money, consider making the customers your utmost priority for the prices we may to enjoy a great meal and the environment you're in. we should be welcomed with a smile and joy coming into a business where a business is sure we are likely to love their foods, etc. no just call out like we're at some auction or chicken fight...shame like dat! the lady gotta get with the time and space...we not all about money...we work hard for money too, and we like to enjoy without having to lose our appetite because now we mad the workers not smiling or just don't got the aloha...come on now, you on our aina! respect and respond with love and aloha...peace out! read more

Awesome and somewhat hidden hole-in-the-wall spot in Kaneohe across the street from Windward Dodge. I've had their 2-egg breakfast before and all I can say is that it's hard to find spots like this that have pricing that matches the amount of food they give. Their $5.99 2-egg, 1-meat special runs all day. In my opinion, call ahead and pick up. If you go at the wrong time, prepare to wait. People pick up breakfast before work, for their whole family, and for the keiki before dropping them off to school. My last visit, I ordered their mochiko chicken and shoyu pork special which was only $10.99. It came with two scoops of rice and Mac salad (tastes like Zippys). Yum!! read more

Delicious and good food, great quick and accurate service, convenient location and hours, Clean.

We first tried to eat at Adela's Country Eatery down the street and it had an hour and fifteen minute wait - so we found this place on Yelp. Thank God!! Food is not cheap in Hawai'i, but usually portions are a good size. This place was relatively cheap and the food was amazing!! We got orange chicken and a pork udon noodles. Very very good! My son got a bacon cheeseburger that was gone in three bites - so we couldn't judge how good it was. I had battered garlic shrimp which was amazing. And the wife had the sump fried rice which was amazing. Best food I've had on Oahu so far. Give this place a try - you won't regret it! Friendly staff and fast service, food is good, never dying in, but it looks comfortable

Searched for places to eat after visiting the valley of the temples and found this spot. OMMMMMG! PARTY IN MY MOUTH!! It was four of us so we were able to sample many of their AMAZING offerings. The spot is super clean, staff is friendly, the food is beyond fresh & delicious and let's not forget affordable. For all the food we got our bill was only $62!. I can definitely say I will make the 20 minute drive for the oxtail soup alone. They had these to die for Korean style wings that had us all debating if we should order more. The guy told they were not a popular item and I dont know why. These are by far the best wings I've put in my mouth in the 3 years I've lived here. Will be back soon! read more

Great breakfast deals. It's good to have another restaurant to choose from for breakfast! I haven't tried many other things besides breakfast as breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and they serve it all day! They have a tv to watch your favorite game or what ever they have on. We came in asked for fried rice without shrimp.she recommended the lunches fried rice. Be warned it's on the spicy side but it was delicious. We also had a meat juhn plate, and combo shoyu pork and mochiko chicken. Everything was very good. The rice and Mac salad was perfectly done. My whole meal is ruined if my rice is mushy. It did not happen here. People were ordering and dining in when we arrived and it got busy after us. The wait was not long and the food is reasonable for the potion size. Almost every takeout order had a spam musubi in it, I will definitely get that next time. It's a hole in the wall located on the same side as dodge dealership on Kahuhipa and Aoloa.
