Today, June 1, 2018, is the First Day of Business for Pan's Kitchen... I watched in anticipation for this day to come. (I saw them bring the new refrigerators in on May 4th!) The location is the former site of Chun's BBQ House (which needed renovation). It shares the parking lot with Nanko Fishing Supplies. I pass by every day after work because it is on my way home. I am so glad that this new business has come to Kaneohe! The advertised special is the All Day Breakfast for $5.79. The choice of meat is: bacon, ham, spam, link sausage, corned beef hash, Vienna sausage, and Portuguese sausage - which is what I got. It comes with 2 eggs and toast, hash browns or rice - I got wheat toast and over easy eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly! It's plain, simple, and quick... so convenient because I just wanna eat and go to sleep after my graveyard shift! Service is so helpful and friendly. This family moved from the Big Island because their children go to college in Honolulu. Let's support local! Let's support education and making an honest living! They were so nice to me. I had changed purse and forgot to bring my wallet. They told me to pay tomorrow... What? No way... I got my wallet and paid them for their trust and for the beautiful, cheerful environment that they installed! The flooring... wow! The ceiling and walls are so clean and nicely painted! This place is new! It is located right across from Windward Hyundai dealership and in the same little area as the fishing store. There is plenty of parking! They have a great variety of local food. And it is at a very fair price. The portion size is bigger than usually. Definitely a must try, who knows maybe it will be your favorite! I got the garlic ahi plate. It came with a lot of rice, Mac salad, and white rice. Next time I'll probably ask for toss salad instead of rice. My husband ordered the pork chop plate. Pans is a typical Hawaiian style plate lunch place that leans Chinese. Food is good. Some of our favorites are the breakfast plates. Pancakes. French toast. Chicken katsu. Pork bowl with egg on top. Grilled salmon. Don't order these things expecting some kind of five star revolutionary experience. Think more along the lines of L&L. Still good is good and prices are right. The Chinese influence pops up on certain dishes. For example roast pork is sort of like local roast pork but it has a slight Chinese flavor to it. Not like some other places that are covered with local style brown gravy all over. It's good just different. Overall try them out. Breakfast is great and lunch dinner is good for us when kids got practices and we get home late. read more

We barely had the chance to eat. My friends and I never ate here before and so for our first time going we were excited to eat at Pan's Kitchen because we've heard great reviews on the food. A member of my group was asking the lady at the counter a few questions regarding items on the menu and she progressively kept getting angry after every question, she kept rolling her eyes and slapping her notebook down on the counter. She asks if my friend would still order her meal because she had the chef start cooking the sausages. Mind you we were not ready to order yet. So overall she was super rude and we left. The food may have been great, but I refuse to eat where someone is disrespectful over simple service things. I would know what decent service is like since I work in that industry. I absolutely love this place and I'm a gourmet cook. I've loved everything I've ever had here. Today I enjoyed the chicken katsu Loco moco and onion rings. It's only the second time I've ordered an egg dish there and she remembered how I liked my eggs cooked. You can't beat the aloha. I don't recommend the hash browns because they are the frozen pattie kine like you get at McD. What a gem! Tucked away in an industrial part of Kaneohe across from Windward Jeep. This is no Bull blue collar eatery. If you see loads of workers in yellow safety shirts you know the food is good right away. Standard local breakfast with eggs rice and choice of meat under $7! What!! We first tried to eat at Adela's Country Eatery down the street and it had an hour and fifteen minute wait - so we found this place on Yelp. Thank God!! Food is not cheap in Hawai'i, but usually portions are a good size. This place was relatively cheap and the food was amazing!! We got orange chicken and a pork udon noodles. Very very good! My son got a bacon cheeseburger that was gone in three bites - so we couldn't judge how good it was. I had battered garlic shrimp which was amazing. I've had their 2-egg breakfast before and all I can say is that it's hard to find spots like this that have pricing that matches the amount of food they give. Their $5.99 2-egg, 1-meat special runs all day. In my opinion, call ahead and pick up. If you go at the wrong time, prepare to wait. People pick up breakfast before work, for their whole family, and for the keiki before dropping them off to school. We came in asked for fried rice without shrimp.she recommended the lunches fried rice. Be warned it's on the spicy side but it was delicious. We also had a meat juhn plate, and combo shoyu pork and mochiko chicken. Everything was very good. The rice and Mac salad was perfectly done. My whole meal is ruined if my rice is mushy. Searched for places to eat after visiting the valley of the temples and found this spot. OMMMMMG! PARTY IN MY MOUTH!! It was four of us so we were able to sample many of their AMAZING offerings. The spot is super clean, staff is friendly, the food is beyond fresh & delicious and let's not forget affordable. For all the food we got our bill was only $62!. I can definitely say I will make the 20 minute drive for the oxtail soup alone. They had these to die for Korean style wings that had us all debating if we should order more. The guy told they were not a popular item and I dont know why. These are by far the best wings I've put in my mouth in the 3 years I've lived here. Will be back soon! read more

Finally tried this place out, and we weren't disappointed! We got the pancakes and kimchee fried rice, so ono! Probably one of the best kimchee fried rice I've ever had. This place wasn't too hard to find and parking isn't a problem. We arrived around 7pm and there were plenty of stalls. My friend and her husband had been here previously and liked it so much that they wanted to bring my boyfriend and I. I'm glad they did! My boyfriend ordered a mochiko chicken plate and I ordered a battered garlic shrimp plate. The portion size of the mochiko chicken plate was pretty big and the chicken was delicious! My boyfriend even went as far as saying it was the best mochiko chicken he's ever had. My battered garlic shrimp was loaded with garlic and very tasty buuuut I could've done without the battered part. Next time, I'm going to try just the shrimp scampi on it's on.
