You know me Well.. Since I was in the area I just had to find a matcha spot and this spot has been on my list for quite some time and was delighted to have finally gave them a peek. Located right across the Kailua Public Library parking is the biggest challenge here or at most Kailua locations but let me tell you it's worth the stop as this places is just a chill spot to relax. With various seating you know the vibe here is chill whether you're here to get work done or just a cup of your favorite sip from the friendly staff and it was the Strawberries + Cream Matcha a very mellow sip slightly on the sweet side was very nice and smooth as I watch them whisk the matcha it's so therapeutical along with the soft music it's a great spot to reflect. Good service, nice interior with a bathroom locate outside. Double Matcha: the cold foam is not too obvious. The drink does not have any taste. I forgot to double check the description if it comes with syrup or not. Matcha Muffin ($7): this muffin is on the dense side. Matcha flavor is not stand out, but color is there. For a drink plus a muffin, the total is around $16, which was quite expensive. Especially for that muffin. Suggestion: if there is cream cheese on top of the muffin, it would be better. read more

Off the road is this spot with the chillest vibes. There is seating as well as music playing to bring the mood up. The staff were friendly and hand mixes the matcha so it could take a bit. I ordered a matcha which wasn't my favorite. A little watery, but it looked pretty! I tried a toffee latte which wasn't a lot better. This spot can be an easy grab n go if needed. read more

You can count on me to try all of the new coffee spots. This new cafe has a country-surf vibe, think soft whites and warm beige. There is a lot of seating available with soft upbeat music playing which makes it the perfect place to settle in and hang out. Their in house syrups are the ube and banana while the rest are sourced from a friend that uses Agave as a based rather then refined sugars I first came in right before the holidays and I loved the BBL (banana bread latte) then the seasonal flavors dropped and it was game over! Top of my list is the pistachio brûlée latte which I also tried with the matcha and oh the snickerdoodle is so festive. I came here on a weekday morning to do some work and I enjoyed my time here! It was a small and cozy coffee shop. I ordered the banana bread latte and while the flavor was good, it was a little too sweet for my liking. If I were to order it again I would ask for half sweet. The place filled up quite quickly but it wasn't too bad. Lots of tables to sit and hangout. There are some parking spots behind the building. Overall, a nice spot to check out! read more

Went down to Kailua Town to draw coffee and matcha from The Well - a new coffee shop, in Kailua...where there once weren't too many options. Next to Bowles Burritos, The Well offers a bevy of beverages. I chose the Pumpkin Matcha Latte today. It was quite good as was the Banana Bread Latte that I had on my initial visit. Fairly busy for mid-morning Mondays...it has a nice modern/surf aesthetic interior. Parking lot dedicated to the various businesses within the building. I enter via the 7-Eleven right across from The Well on Kuulei Road. The Well has a logo - on their cups - that reminds me of the movie The Ring. First time here! I ordered the Salted Maple Cold Brew and it was absolutely amazing. If you are a fan of the Sweet Cream Cold Brew at Starbucks, this drink completely blew it out of the water. Huge Mahalo to Toni for the recommendation. The location and the store itself is really fun. read more

I got the pistachio crème brûlée and it was 10/10! The cold foam had a marshmallow consistency -- like after perfectly roasted over a fire. Anyways, it was a maple cold foam! Paired well with pistachio! Lots of seating and quick service. First time was a great experience. Will return! The only thing is parking -- good luck! lol. read more

Saw this place all over social media so I was excited to try. Super cute vibes and a lot of seating with a parking lot in the back. I tried the banana bread latte and it was probably the best latte I've ever had. The foam on top was topped with cinnamon and the coffee was really smooth. I couldn't taste any banana flavor, it was more of a cinnamon latte, but it was still really good! Workers were really friendly too. I would return next time I'm in kailua. read more

I was having like the worst day ever so I lugged my 2 little kids on a long walk to get coffee and a treat as a pick me up. Got there & realized I left my entire wallet at home I had a few dollars cash and the sweet cashier covered the rest of my latte and my toddler's banana bread. It seriously made my whole day. I wish I remembered her name. She is the reason we keep coming back here! We go to kailua a few times a week after the library & we plan to keep coming back to this spot every time. The banana bread latte is perfection!! It's definitely in my top 5 lattes on the island, I was savoring every sip. It was around $9.40 for one drink (with alternative milk) which is a little crazy, but worth it (I'm already thinking about when I can go back). The place is really cute and the workers are nice but the coffee is ridiculously sweet. We tried the banana bread latte and the pistachio creme brulee latte and were expecting some sweetness but it was so overpowering. The drinks didn't even really taste like coffee, more like a sweet milk drink. I even got an extra shot in the banana bread one and still couldn't taste the coffee. We got the banana bread latte and a hot latte - both were incredible. Love that they have a affogato using the ice cream from the business down the street! The Well is a super cute new addition to the Kailua coffee scene. The interior is bright and cleverly decorated and the girls behind the counter were very friendly. Prices were what you'd expect for this area/a nicer place. My deduction comes for a simple reason. I ordered two coffees and a matcha and somehow walked out with three coffees. My ticket on my drink did say match so I think it was just an honest error from one of the people making the drinks. However, if I'm paying $30 for three drinks and tipping, I do expect to receive the correct order. I unfortunately was in a time crunch and couldn't go back to get the correct drink. Will definitely try them again next time I want a matcha though, the banana bread matcha sounds great! read more

As a coffee lover I Was excited to try this spot out but unfortunately I was disappointed The BBL ( banana bread latte) had no banana taste. It was more of a cinnamon milk drink. My partner got a Carmel latte which also turned out to be more of a sweet Carmel milk drink. If you're looking for more of a sweet milky drink then this is your place but keep in mind the flavor was that of just sweet milk. read more
