Cinnamon's is an absolute hidden gem on the island of Oahu. Located in the small quaint town of Kailua. They serve up some of the best breakfast and lunch options around town! It's no wonder they've been in business for almost 40 years now, serving their community with that Aloha spirit! Our server Andrea was awesome! She made some great recommendations and was super attentive to our family. Parking was easily accessible (parking meters enforced daily / .75 for 3 hrs). Surprisingly, there was no wait time (we arrived around 8am). I ordered the house special- Hot Meat Loco Moco (sautéed Korean boneless beef with hot chili sauce, garlic, daikon, on a bed of steamed rice, topped with two eggs, served with macaroni salad and pickled onions). Absolutely delicious! My wife and son shared the famous Guava Chiffon Pancakes 10/10!!! The guava syrup- chefs kiss!!! And my daughters shared the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes (topped with sweet condensed milk). We also ordered a side of bacon and spam. Overall, we had an exceptional dining experience and we will definitely be back before our trip is over (it was that good).
Food: French drip was good with the au jus, but the meat was a little dry on its own. Lilikoi chiffon pancakes was a good first bite. However became very one note after a couple bites. Service: Friendly staff but service was a little slow despite not being super busy Ambiance: Cute brunch spot with lots of seating! Very causal
Sometimes you get in the mood for a special breakfast.... I mean a REALLY special breakfast! I've got the perfect choice - CINNAMON'S Restaurant in Kailua! I've heard people say it was good but never had a chance to go. I'm so glad I went! Let me share..... The parking lot is pretty big so you have a pretty good chance of finding parking. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. My friends and I chose the outdoor seating and we were glad we did. With the covered, large patio area, you get the cool breeze and fresh air. Just sitting outside you feel comfortable to relaxed! Note: You will get occasional birds that come by....but we didn't find it to be problem at all. We decided that we were gong to each order a different thing and share. We ordered the following: CHORIZO SHRIMP OMELETTE - If you love a bit of spice like me, you'll love this. I remember having Mexican chorizo in California and this has the same taste. The omelet is packed with flavor and it's HUGE! We ordered it with the fried potatoes. I honestly could've just eaten this omelette, it was that good!! FRENCH TOAST -- ya gotta get that little bit of sweetness to enjoy with your coffee! They serve sweet bread french toast. It's very similar to others that I've had at other places. Not unique but it was good. CORNED BEEF HASH WITH EGGS - This was a special request from one of my friends. Homemade corned beef hash -- you can't go wrong. I think the other winner on this plate was those crunchy....super crunchy tater tots. OMG, they were so good!! I think the next time I will order this with an over-easy egg so I can dip those tots in my yolk ---- you'all know the goodness in that, right?!!! I definitely recommend! The prices are pretty reasonable and the portion sizes are big. I totally recommend everyone ordering a dish and do family style so you can sample a taste of everything!
Grand Opening on June 1, 2026 in Kailua, O'ahu, Hawai'i... Cinnamon's is a popular brunch spot since 1985... yes! They've been around for 41 years! Today, they opened a cozy Cafe in the same courtyard as the restaurant... in the Kailua Square building, on the Ground Level. The shared metered parking lot is convenient for customers. There's also metered street parking. Inside, the environment is cute... and service is friendly and efficient! I got the Salted Strawberry Yuzu-Citrus Cooler. It was sweet, savory, and tangy! I added water to it at home, even after the ice melted! It's concentrated! I'll be back for cookies, iced coffees, baked goods, and cream sodas! Congratulations and Best Wishes on your new adventure!
We arrived around 1pm on a Wednesday and our party of 7 were seated right away in the patio area. We had a baby in our party and it was nice to be able to have space to walk around with her and browse the surrounding shops so she wouldn't get bored. Food was delicious. I had the crab cakes and they were delicious. A little bready but the flavor was great. We also had the waffles, french toast, special Portuguese loco moco with beans, some other dishes, I can't remember but alI were very good. I am still full writing this review 5 hours later. Maybe it's because the food was smothered in butter? I'm not complaining. Our group all left happy.
09.03.2026 @ 11:55am Walk in for a table of 4. Our server is so friendly, cute and such a sweetie when she speaks. Order was good and flavorful with huge portion. We each ordered our own plates and we shared. By the time my shrimp omelette came (not sure why too longer) cause we were half way done and was full already so we had to doggie bag my untouched shrimp omelette. Overall it was yummy in our tummy.
Tip: Go on a weekday for little to no wait. Most know of the yummy breakfast choices. On our last visit, we made a new discovery...kalbi! A friend ordered kalbi because they didn't feel like breakfast. Sooo glad they did. The kalbi was delicious! The beef was a thicker cut & well marinated, tho a bit on the sweet side. The fried fish sandwich included 2 crispy pieces. The mango chiffon pancakes & kalua pork benedict were yummy, as usual.
The food is always delicious here! Lechon loco moco with fried rice had the perfect amount of vinegar and the pork belly was nice and crispy. Parking is usually pretty full, you may need to find street parking but it's worth it!
Another great breakfast at cinnamon! It's a holiday Monday mid morning breakfast and wait was about 20 minutes! No problem seated w/ drinks but breakfast took a bit to be delivered to our table. It was the same thing on our last visit too. But as long as water and coffee refiled it wasn't a problem since we weren't rushing to anything afterwards! Their kitchen seems to get back logged easily so plan on waiting for a table and your food! People here especially the servers are all great and service drinks often which is a big plus. Seated inside this time and the chairs are much more comfortable. Food portions like the eggs Benedict seem small considering their price point. Loco mono and omelets portions are far more generous. The 1/2 order of eggs Benedict had less 2 tablespoons of Hollandaise sauce not enough ! It did come with a generous portion of tater tots. There's seating inside and outside. We called ahead to accommodate a party of nine to make the hosts/hostess' lives easier (former host here & I was a host for like two months) The food is very local & super flavorful. I couldn't get photos from across the table but for $20-$30 the dish is very worth its size. Four of us (including me) shared three plates: Lilikoi pancakes, veggie frittata, and a loco moco but with kalua pork & beef stew & lau lau. The lilikoi pancakes were absolutely so flavorful and it didn't taste artificial flavoring. It was super sweet and the pancakes were fluffy and soft. My friend also got the red velvet pancakes which were super yummy as well. The Loco Moco with Kalua pig & lau lau: covered in beef stew was amazing. It was a big plate and it was just a correct combo of all three dishes. The Veggie Frittata was good the vegetables weren't that prominent but it was still flavorful. I didn't know what we ordered at first so I was confused by this flat dish. The service was quick & they checked up on us a lot! We went around 10:30AM after the beach, so I think the breakfast menu was still there!
Honestly, 5 star. I'll tell you why. The parking lot is a shared lot but plenty of metered spots. The pot holes are something to navigate but not this restaurants fault I suppose. My wait time on Sunday was 30 min or less, so that wasn't bad at all and there are plenty of shops around to browse until the table is ready. The restaurant was quite busy, but that's to be expected due to the location and amazing food. I got the Kalbi Moco and it was soooooooooooo good. Highly recommend with over easy eggs. My breakfast partner got the eggs Benedict, but got both the Kalua Pork and Mac Nut Mahi. He liked the Kalua Pork the best. We also shared guava chaffon pancakes which were delicious. All served with coffee and water. Service was excellent and Aunteh gave plenty of recommendations. Can't wait to come back.
Cinnamons is hands down my favorite place for breakfast. They are always busy, but the turn around is generally quick and the wait isn't too long. Food is amazing and the service is awesome. I normally get an eggs Benedict, loco moco, or omelette... and you gotta get their guava chiffon pancakes. The parking lot is metered. Enjoy!
Came here after the Pillbox hike before heading to the beach. Thankfully there was no wait and plenty of parking available. The restaurant itself felt pretty dated with poor ventilation and old carpeting. There were also flies everywhere constantly getting on the food, which was super annoying. The spam meal was decent, but honestly nothing you couldn't make at home in a few minutes. I also ordered the catch of the day, but it tasted more like the catch of the week. Fish was tough, lacked flavor, and the rice was caked up. The one standout was the guava pancake, which was extremely good and probably the best thing we ordered. Overall though, probably wouldn't come back again anytime soon.
Totally worth the drive!! It's been over 10 years since I've last been to Cinnamon's Kailua, and WOW have they improved since my last memory. Today, the food and service were exceptional! We were celebrating my daughter's 22nd birthday - holy moly, she's old!!! Haha! I was happy to hear it was Cinnamon's she wanted for this year's Special Meal. Since my son and I were coming from Ewa, I didn't know what to expect as far as parking, wait time, etc, so we arrived super early. From 9am to 10am, there was no wait! The parking lot was also filled with open stalls. Not sure if it was due to the weather, but today was a perfect day to go. Metered stalls are 75 cents per hour, with the max limit of 3 hours ($2.25). The hostess was kind enough to save us a table inside, and instructed me to let her know when the full party arrived since I checked in at 9:30, but my daughter was 20 mins away. I asked if I needed to leave my name, but she assured me that she'd remember me, so just check back in when we're ready. And she wasn't lying! :) Our server Michelle was THEE BEST! She was the perfect match to the Cinnamon's experience: local, fun, and full of smiles! Not only did she manage her section like a pro, but she also got our special requests filled and provided perfect, timely table service. Thanks Michelle! Here's what we got today: - Special: Chocolate Mac Nut Haupia Pancakes - Single Pancake w/Haupia Sauce - Classic Eggs Benedict - Crab Cake Eggs Benedict - Kalbi Moco w/Fried Rice - Meat & Eggs Breakfast w/Red Velvet Pancakes Everything was delicious! The chocolate pancake special tasted amazing.. super addictive too. Only thing we had to comment on was that they were fluffy... but maybe a little TOO fluffy. Each pierce of the fork caused it to crumble so we had to manage eating them by scooping it with the fork. It was a chore and some fell on the table as a result (sad face) - I'd still order them again tho! Surprisingly, I ate all of my crab bene. It's bulking season, don't judge lol jk..... really tho, it was seasoned to perfection every bite of the way, I just couldn't stop! My kids also agreed that everything was seasoned and flavored perfectly today. No complaints at all! Surely, this is one for the books! Cinnamon's is famous for a reason.. and thats because their breakfast is legendary. They've got a little bit of everything- from savory benedicts, sweet pancakes, waffles and so much more. Guava pancake - this is my go-to. The pancakes are fluffy soft and delicious even on their own. The guava sauce is tangy with a sharp guava punch. Crab cake benedict- crab cakes are on the saltier side but slightly sweet and rich. Honestly this is my favorite crab cake benny I've ever had. The tater tots are perfectly crispy and tossed in with bell peppers and onions. We ordered take out so I can't speak on anything about the service. We ordered online which was easy and pretty straight forward. Food is delicious even though it is on the pricier end. But no trip to Honolulu is complete without a breakfast at Cinnamon's. read more
Something sweet... Some yummy treats is what's found here at Cinnamon's Sweet Shop. As this adorable tiny nook is quite busy with staff flowing constantly is interesting that shuffling with the sliding doors is a bit a work to be mindful not getting in the way. Love the whole decor as it gives the sweet and vibrant vibe with yellow striped wall and chef bear as their mascot it gives the candy shop feel though what they serve is some very freshly baked items like cookies was just getting out of the oven as we arrived though I was really thirst on this blazing hot Sunday afternoon wanted a sip and it was the Liliko'i Island Iced Tea which is flavored with liliko'i puree and pineapple juice didn't last very long in the cup. Strawberry Melon Cream Soda or their weekly drink special Blueberry Bloom does certainly bougie up your coffee making your brunch option quite epic. Open daily from 7am to 2pm is fast so come early for your fix as it's so sweet to have their treats. Thank you! read more

This is a locally owned, family-run "mom & pop" gem that has been rooted in the Kailua community since the 80s, and you can really feel that aloha spirit the moment you walk in. It is my absolute go-to spot whenever I have friends or family visiting. The Food: The menu is packed with authentic Hawaii flavors. My personal favorite is the **Kalua Pig Eggs Benedict**. It is consistently perfect. They also have incredible specials; I once had a **Kalbi Loco Moco** that was absolutely heavenly. Whether you're going for their famous guava chiffon pancakes or their housemade corned beef hash, you really can't go wrong. The Service: Despite being a busy staple, the service is always top-notch. The staff is attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful. This was my first time at this location. The server Kaimi was pleasant and easy going. Sat on the patio area and it was surprisingly peaceful. The food was cheerful and yummy. The house potatoes could have been more crispy and seasoned a bit more. Crab cakes was lukewarm. But the service experience outweighed the lack of food preparation. read more

Food was beautiful and sooo tasty. You really can't get red velvet pancakes like this anywhere else. The Hawaiian plate was the perfect breakfast straight off the plane. Andrea our server was delightful and so thoughtful, we loved her!! Sayaka our host was also soo kind even though we missed her text and were late to collect our table! It was a great day at Cinnamon's. And their sweet shop is great too- i think they make the lattes over there and come over to the restaurant with them to serve. read more
I came here with my friend and our kids after hiking the pillbox. It's an awesome breakfast spot. The staff is very friendly and there is alot of parking. The cinnamon pancakes are unbelievable. It's definitely something I order every time I am here. The loco moco was very good as well. It's a good place for breakfast with family and friends. We came in for a pre-Easter brunch and it took about 20 minutes to be seated. We ordered red velvet pancakes, guava chiffon pancakes, thai tea french toast, kalbi moco, shaken beef loco moco and an omelette. The portions are large and definitely made to share. The prices are reasonable and there was so much food! Our server was nice and the restaurant was large and spacious without being too crowded. The food came out quickly and everything was good! The pancakes were on the denser and sweeter side and the thai tea french toast had boba inside but it was odd and a little too hard. The shaken beef moco was delicious and the kalbi moco was also good! It would have been nice to come with some gravy on the side. The omelette was also ginormous and full of fillings. Parking is available in the lot or side streets. Overall it's a great classic brunch spot and always a good option in Kailua! read more
Completely satisfied with this choice! It's the family's first time in Hawaii and we wanted to try something close to the beach we were going to. Everything was a 10/10. The sitting was super cute in the courtyard and cute inside. Our waiter was attentive and the food came out quickly. Hubby got the recommended short ribs and potatoes, I got the mahi mahi eggs Benedict and our son got the strawberry chiffon pancakes (daily special). Me and my family came for breakfast and had a wonderful time eating under their gazebo inside the restaurant. I ordered their popular guava pancake and my wife ordered their newly tested Mac nut coconut pancakes. My son had their spam and rice with egg. I loved their guava pancake! The guava syrup has a nice glaze to it. It's rich, sweet but also had a nice thin coating around the pancake. This one is worth trying. We also enjoyed their Mac nut coconut pancakes. These were so delicious! The pancake had shredded coconut inside too for texture. The white Mac nut sauce is thick and creamy. It's sweet too and can get you pretty full. I will say, they should full-on coat their pancakes with sauce rather than just the top stack. This place is great and I will definitely come back again. read more

Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast with eggs and breakfast meats, pancakes, burgers, sandwiches, or even nachos, there's something for just about everyone. After an early morning beach day, me and some friends came here for brunch and had a really good experience. We were seated right away with no wait, which was nice since I know this place can get busy. Everyone working there was friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. The food was delicious. We had the Kalua Pork Eggs Benedict, the French Dip, and the Guava Chiffon Pancakes. Everything tasted fresh, and the pancakes definitely lived up to the hype. I also liked the atmosphere. It has a laid-back island vibe that's comfortable and not too fancy. It was clean, relaxing, and just a nice place to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. I'd definitely come back here. Incredible food!! The guava chiffon & mango chiffon pancakes are scrumptious. The cinnamon roll pancakes also deserve an honorable mention. There is truly not one thing on the menu that we've had that wasn't stellar. There is indoor & outdoor seating and almost always quite a wait. Had breakfast about 9ish and it wasn't to crowded so we got seated quick in the gazebo our waitress was the best I'm sad i didn't get her name she was awesome best service ever and my vegan frittata was so delicious I had there pickled onion which was good. The food here is good. We live their pancakes. Their food portions are big. It's in a great location in Kailua so we meet here about once a month. As long as we are there before 8:45, seating is quick. Your entire party needs to be there before you can be seated. They have expanded seating in the courtyard so they can service more people. The place is casual and most of the servers have been great! read more
This is a lovely restaurant in Kailua that heard great things so needed to try when i was on the Windward side of Oahu. The restaurant was beautifuly decorated for Christmas! So festive! Lots of seating inside and out cause it can get very crowded! The food was great! My daughter had the 3 egg omelett filled with portugese sausage, spinach and cheese! It was huge! She could get a short stack of specialty guava pancakes for $4.95 extra! What a deal! The pancakes were fluffy topped with guava sauce and whipped cream! My youngest daughter ordered the Traditional Eggs Benedict and i ordered the one with crab. Each came with a large side of home potatoes! A friend ordered the fried chicken which was crispy! Reason for only 4 stars is that gnats were flying all over our food that it became irritating and annoying! read more
We randomly came across his place after we went to LaniKai Beach. It was delicious. We ordered the guava pancakes and one of the Benedicts and got lattes. This is such a cute, homey spot. I think it's been around for quite some time. Our food really hit the spot. The pancakes are definitely a must get. Don't skip out on them. They are pretty heavy. Cinnamon's was my favorite breakfast I had on the island. I'm still thinking about their cinnamon roll pancakes and loco moco. So much flavor and just perfect- you need try both dishes. Service was great! Andrea was our server and she kept our drink cups full and gave us updates throughout our service. Thank you Andrea! The food was delicious. I had the cinnamon short stack pancakes with banana and a side of the boneless kalbi. I was very satisfied. We were seated in the middle patio plaza, so you have to be mindful of the birds. The REIGNING and STILL CHAMPION Breakfast Spot in the WORLD....CINNAMONS!!!! Not gonna lie I was nervous. It's been 10+ years since I've been to Cinnamons on Oahu and first place was on the line going up against Breakfast Club in San Jose. The intangibles held up and Cinnamons keeps its title! I got the exact same order I did 10 years ago and yes I still remembered it! Hawaiian omelette, red velvet pancakes, and smooth coffee! The wife got a signature Eggs Benedict but that's beside the point. What Cinnamons has in its favor is charm and the ocean. Having an omelette with fresh kalua pork and white fish is just something no one else can replicate! The red velvet pancakes have a cream cheese sauce and is outstanding. Pair that with their unique blend of Hawaiian coffee and you have the perfect breakfast! Our waitress Nicole and the whole staff are filled with Aloha and never rushed us though the line was getting longer and longer after 9am. Parking can be tricky as it is very in a shopping center and the EVERY SPOT is metered (but they take debit card too). At the End of the Day Cinnamons was my favorite spot in the world in 2015 and I don't see anyone taking the crown anytime soon!!! read more

Not a big vegan place. But there Italian & Fiesta omelettes are delish, no meat in them, meat can be added for a small coat. Meat can be eliminated from Mucho Nachos. And the pancakes are awesome.
Do they take reservations?
Yes, for parties of 8 or more and everyone needs to be present to be sat. There is a 15 minute grace period upon your reservation time and reservations must be made at least an hour in advance.
