    Roasted Turkey Panini
    Anthony D.

Super small store located literally next to a tattoo parlor so the signage to find it was a little bit tricky. Look for the tattoo shop since they use the same entrance. There's no inside seating so you need to take your food elsewhere to eat. I wanted to get the Luxe Breakfast Burrito but they said they were all out. So I instead opted for the Roasted Turkey Panini. The sandwich was toasted nicely and the pesto was creamy and very delicious. Also the salad dressing they give for your side, is a type of lilikoi dressing which was awesome!

We stopped by for fast and refreshing brunch. Service was great and recommendations were on point!! I loved the Lilikoi Ice Cream Açaí Bowl with Lilikoi Butter. Bowl was tangy and sweet with dark chocolate crunch and granola. Lilikoi Sunrise was a delightful mix of strawberry and Lilikoi lemonade. Farmers Market Açaí was a traditional bowl. There are tables located outside of the restaurant next to colorful murals. You can sit and enjoy your food. There is no indoor seating. Parking is ample around the restaurant. Garage parking is $3.00 or there is street parking is available. We will definitely be back for future treats!!

Food establishment located inside of a tattoo parlor? If I were to work at either location, I would find it difficult to resist the luscious foods coming from Lilikoi Kitchen. And I would also find it difficult not to get a tattoo with every paycheck from working in the kitchen. Don't knock this place till you try it! Street parking is easily located up front of the shop, and also around the corner, there's a metered lot. When arriving, there are a few cafe seating outside (no seating inside). We placed our order in the kitchen side, and went outside to wait at a table. There's a divider that differentiates the food from the tattoo side. Nevertheless, the staff brought out our food promptly and with a smile. Casual setting all around and just great food to share with good company. I can't stop thinking about that lilikoi dressing on the side salad. And even that lilikoi jam on top the Monte Cristo is divine! If I remember correctly, they also sell their dressings and jam at the cashier counter, along with baked goods for the day. We'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu and grab some dressing/jam to go! And resist the urge to walk out with a new tattoo in the process!

Caprese sandwich. One of our favorites!

We decided to give this place another try. After driving around for 15 minutes to try and find a parking spot, and seeing the 4 small tables they have to sit at outside still full, we gave up and drove down the street to Mokes (which has lots of indoor seating and more parking options). What a shame because we were really looking forward to giving this place another shot.

Came here on a whim while visiting after spending some time hiking and so glad we did! From the delicious food to friendly service, this was a great stop - definitely one of my favorites during my entire trip. Laura and Ipo were very patient as my family decided whether we wanted to eat here or elsewhere. They answered any questions we had and offered their own suggestions as to what might be a good choice for our group. We ended up ordering the Cubano Panini, Chopped Cheese Panini, some cheese quesadillas for the babies of the group, and Chinese Chicken Salad. For dessert, we went back to order the Farmers Market bowls (acai bowls), cold brew, and Lilikoi Bowl - this was Laura's recommendation (thank you Laura for the excellent rec!). There isn't any seating indoors, but there are a few tables and chairs outside. Luckily, it was empty, so our big group was able to put some tables together and sit together. The sun came in and out, and Laura offered to put out some overhead blinds to block out the sun. Everyone was super impressed by how delicious the food was and how wonderful the staff helping us was. Thank you again to Laura and Ipo for the excellent experience! Will definitely be on my list of places I have to visit the next time I'm back.

No tuna, all mayo. Kitchen chef this is standard amount.

Craving a sandwich so decided to stop by what seemed like a cute little cafe. Ordered a waffle; came out cold. Thought it was made to order? Maybe not. Second item was a tuna sandwich, but what came out was a mayo sandwich with literally no tuna. I swear I've had more tuna in an ABC sandwich! Please see pic but it was doused in mayo. It was the worst sandwich I've ever had. I might have picked the wrong items but did I come to the same cafe as all other yelpers??

Lilikoi Kitchen is a hidden gem inside of a tattoo shop. The seating is limited to a few outdoor tables so plan your visit accordingly. The service was impeccable. Laura is the definition of exemplary customer service. She has a considerate and contagious personality that feels welcoming. My wife and I definitely felt taken care of and catered to as she gave us all the recommendations and customizations available to us. It's clear that their food is made with love. I had ordered the blueberry French toast, which was more decadent than I expected. The toast was already infused with syrup so I didn't need any additional sweetener. If I were to compare, the flavor profile was similar to a cheesecake. I also ordered a side of bacon, which was crisped to perfection. My wife had their breakfast sandwich but substituted the meat for avocado. I only took a bite but I wish I had my own because this was delicious. And y'all... don't sleep on the banana bread. This was soft, warm, gooey, and crunchy with walnuts, which was perfect with coffee. We also ordered their island tea and that was so refreshing. Finally, thank you Laura and Ipo for making our first visit such a memorable experience! We will definitely be coming back the next time we visit Kailua.

The ambience was clean, bright, and cute. The service was great. The acai bowl I had was one of the best I have ever had. I thought the different ingredients they used were both unique and delicious. Very creative and tasty. We also ordered a burrito which was great; however, I typically eat a similar burrito at the Castle farmers market on Sundays and that one is not only bigger but also more affordable. The only reason this review isn't a 5/5 is because of the price. Understandable considering the economy but not the greatest option for poor college students.

Food was an honest 12/10! Both the Burrito and Big Sammie were so delicious!! Full of flavor and cooked fresh we could not have stumbled on a better brunch. Laura was so kind and service was quick. We are staying across the island, but we might circle back for another meal!

Lilikoi kitchen is sharing space inside The Collective/Tattoo and Gallery on Uluniu St near Auiki Street. I remembered it used to be a Tea Parlor. It's mainly a take out place, but have 4 bar seating in tight space. There's a few tables and chairs outside. I recommend to call in your order, since it may take 20-25 minutes. It gets kind of busy at times with two workers. The two times I came the sandwich requested wasn't available because of the availability of the meats. When I had the Turkey BLTA panini, it was yummy and loved the bacon and avocado inside. It had all the yummy ingredients inside like Bacon, bacon onion jam, pesto aioli, provolone, arugula, turkey, and avocado! It was really good that I had to convince my friend to try here. Although his first choice wasn't available, he went with my favorite. He agreed it was good but notified this time it was put together differently on how the panini was sliced and not in an angle and hidden underneath the bread was really burnt but my friend didn't care. It was still as good. The salad greens came with their delicious Lilikoi dressing. We also got their refreshing Lilikoi island ice tea. It was like a plantation ice tea but with Lilikoi syrup or juice instead of pineapple juice. Lilikoi Kitchen has breakfast/brunch offerings, sandwiches, soups, salads, quesadillas, and even açaí bowls with a few pastries/dessert in front. They are open from Tuesday thru Saturday from 9 am -3 pm and Sunday from 10 am -2:30 pm.

After a dropping off my car for service we make a trek to Kailua because my kid was in the mood for avocado toast. Her favorite place to get it at is morning brew, but we decide to try a place we've never been to. This location is across the street from Assagio and there's a sign where there's additional parking. But at the time of this review (Jan 2025) I believe the parking lot was under construction. However, there's parking in nearby streets if you don't mind short walks. The avocado toast according to her says it's very good and savory. I tried a bit and thought it was good too. The French toast to me had a bread pudding type of texture. If you like bread pudding you'll like this. There's no seating inside, so eating outside is your only option. They serve your meal to you and you must return your dishes back inside. I had the mango iced tea and it was nice and sweet. I'm not used to having something sweet like this for breakfast so it was a little too sweet for me. I didn't mind eating outside, the weather was nice and it didn't seem like too many people walked by, of course it was a little after 9 am on a Friday, so I'd expect some people are at work. I would come back again to try their other items on the menu.

    The meal to die for.

Holy moly. Talk about food just hitting the spot! Me and my yelpie bestie had an event to attend nearby and we decided to have lunch after. She asked if I ever heard of this place and I was clueless. As I checked on yelp, I was amused to see that it was inside of a tattoo shop. Yup! You can get your tummies filled and tatted as well. Haha. They are located on the left side of building with a few tables to dine at right outside. Menu is pretty simple, which I like. Because when there's too much options, it takes me forever to decide. Went with their Luxe Breakfast Burrito and got the baked blueberry French toast to share. Oh, and a plain cold brew to wash everything down. My friend got the monte cristo and lilikoi iced tea. It took relatively quick for our food to be brought out. Maybe 10 mins? Worth every minute... the burrito was packing! This guy was filled to the brim with a nice crisp outside from the panini press. But that baked French toast. Let me tell you... you need to try this. There's a nice caramel like on the edges from added butter and sugar when it's baked. It is heavenly! My friend loved her monte cristo and the dressing that comes on the side salad. It's a nice tartness from the lilikoi. The cold brew was the perfect accompaniment with that sweet French toast. Not a fan on eating outside. And it's a bit odd with all the passerby's right next to us. However, it was a nice overcast and cool day, so at least it wasn't hot! If they ever plan to expand to a sit down restaurant, they would thrive!!! Ample street and public metered lots nearby. 100% will be back to try more items. Or get that burrito and French toast again. Haha.

    The tattoo area.
    Sylvia M.

It has a very small sitting area. It is also a tattoo shop. I don't recommend for a nice sit down meal. Reply: I wasn't hating on your small business. It's just advertised as a singular restaurant, there is no mention of a tattoo shop connected to your small café. Food was good and customer service was excellent. I was just expecting something different for my fiancé's birthday breakfast.

Upon entering, there is a table with an ordering menu that you fill out for the ice cream. There are no cones and no "parlor" for ice cream- only written options. The standard flavors of vanilla, creamy strawberry and chocolate are available as base choices. There were two "special" flavors of the day that was kona mud pie and another unique option. You can check off on the menu PER item how you want your ice cream in regards to toppings, syrups, in a cup or bubble waffle, single scoop or multiple scoops, etc. Hubby ordered a boba tea that you don't need to fill out on the menu sheet. I'm personally not a huge fan of boba, but he enjoyed it. The lime grape boba tea was what he ordered. As for ice cream, we ordered the following combinations: -Red velvet bubble waffle "cone" with kona mud pie ice cream and chocolate syrup - Classic bubble waffle cone with vanilla ice cream, strawberries and rainbow sprinkles - chocolate bubble waffle cone with creamy strawberry, oreo cookie crumbs and chocolate syrup The red velvet and classic bubble waffle were my favorite. The creamy strawberry ice cream was really good but the other flavors were on the sweet side- no additional toppings were necessary- in fact, I think it was overkill (though beautiful in presentation. I would probably come here again with the kids, but these are a little challenging to eat, in all honesty. The bubble waffle as a cone is nice, but not sturdy. The ice cream is nice, though options of flavor are limited. The ordering process is a little tedious when ordering multiple items, but it's understandable in order to get each one right. Cool stop if you're in the area. We walked there from Whole Foods Kailua main road (back) entrance.

I order the same thing from Lanikai Juice because this smoothie is that good! I typically order the Kailua Monkey which consists of soy milk, peanut butter, banana, protein, honey and ice. This is the smoothest and most creamy smoothie you'll ever enjoy. The service was fabulous on the day I visited. The female who took my order was very friendly and they complete my smoothie in less than 10 minutes.

FOOD WAS GREAT. the scenery in this place was out of this world, all around comforting. shout out to this spot. definitely coming back.

The ordering counter and cashier is right as you enter along with thr pastry counter. Same deals with thr kapolei location you order and find your own table and put number so they can find you when your order is up. Inside is airconditioned with around maybe 10 tables and chairs some seat 2 others eat 4 and they also have outside patio seating back and front. The parking can be challenging having maybe 10 -12 spots in their lot and some street parking . Their Menu is a bit more limited than their other location. Sandwiches.. pizza and other stuff oh and coffee. The only thing that wasmt as good as their kapolei location was they didnt have the thin crispy salty cravable fries they only had small bags of chips available The food is always good and the service was real good. The staff gave you an impression where they really valued their customers with greetings with a smile and happy goodbyes. As always a great experience with a great casual setting..fair pricing (nothing is considered "cheap" nowdays) ..good food and friendly staff.
