Was craving an acai bowl for an afternoon treat, so we stopped by Lanikai Juice! My boyfriend and I shared the Acai Extravaganza, and it was just what we needed! The acai base was smooth and topped with fresh bananas, blueberries, and strawberries. I also really liked the quinoa puffs! The price was a little steep, close to $15 for an acai bowl, but with the cost of everything going up these days, I can't blame them. Overall, Lanikai Juice is a solid choice for a refreshing and satisfying treat! read more

Lanikai Juice - Acai Extravaganza - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Kailua, Hawaii

Best acai bowls on island. Kailua location is congested with tourists but the bowls are worth it. Be patient and wait for parking to open up or park across the street and walk. You can order online and pickup. Staff seems to rotate often but they're always friendly and helpful. My fav is the Acai Extravaganza bowl. Other family choose the Strawberry Shaka smoothie, or Acai Super Food bowl. read more

I stopped by Lanikai Juice in Kailua because I needed a healthy pick-me-up, and being vegan, it can be hard to find places you really trust with clean ingredients. This place has always been solid for me. It was my first time at the Kailua location, and they were super helpful. I ordered the Kailua Monkey and had them go light on the peanut butter, and they had no problem customizing it. Everything was quick and easy, even though it was pretty busy. Parking was easier than I expected too. There are a lot of shops there, but I didn't have any trouble finding a spot. Inside is a little tight, especially with a couple strollers in there, but honestly it wasn't a big deal. I still got my smoothie fast, and it was really good. Just a heads up -- they may use Skippy or organic peanut butter, so if that matters to you, just ask for organic. I'll for sure be coming back when I'm in the area here, they made it quick easy and I was out the door in no time. Definitely recommend! SYOY! Deb B read more

I'm pretty sure this is the original Lanikai Juice location. Back in the day, there weren't many places to get a fresh smoothie on the island. Fast forward 25+ years and there are smoothie shops all over the island. Lanikai Juice has withstood the test of time and is still pumping out smoothies, juices and bowls to locals and tourists alike. Service is friendly and pleasant. Parking lot can get crazy busy during peak hours so time your visit accordingly. Support local businesses! read more

Service- 5 stars Ambiance- 3 stars Food/Drink- 5 stars I visit this location from time to time but honestly, I make it a point to stay out of Kailua. Not my vibe. It's a gentrified and heavily congested area with all the tourist that visit year rounds. The parking is horrendous so I would suggest visiting mid-late morning on the weekdays or just before they close if you want to beat the rush. I order the same thing from Lanikai Juice because this smoothie is that good! I typically order the Kailua Monkey which consists of soy milk, peanut butter, banana, protein, honey and ice. This is the smoothest and most creamy smoothie you'll ever enjoy. The service was fabulous on the day I visited. The female who took my order was very friendly and they complete my smoothie in less than 10 minutes. read more

The service was impressively quick, and the staff was really polite. Smoothie was pretty standard, tasted good, but I really wish the açaí was good. Maybe it was the apple juice that is added in the particular bowl I ordered but it wasn't good. I had a scoop of peace butter that helped me power through it to offset the bitterness but at the end it was me Vs açaí. I'll probably be back to try another one but other than that it's prime location, great staff, and cool smoothie read more

Lanikai Juice - Smoothie was bomb. Açaí started fading once the pb ran out - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Kailua, Hawaii

This spot is a great pick me up right before or after headed to the beautiful Lanikai Beach. No need to worry about parking since it's in a strip mall. They specialize in bowls, smoothies, and juices here and we went with the Pineapple Splash and Acai Original smoothies. The pineapple splash was a clear favorite and had all the tropical flavors you'd expect from Hawaii. The acai original was a bit watery for a smoothie and needed a thicker consistency, but it did taste great as well. Servers are friendly and eager to recommend their favorites. read more

Lanikai Juice - Small Kailua Monkey - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Kailua, Hawaii

Ordered a small kailua monkey. They served a customer two customers after me their two large kailua monkeys. And when I asked about my order they said it was coming. They didn't start making it till after I asked about it. I asked for a refund, and she said she couldn't refund because they already made it (they just started making it). Lady that took my order said she couldn't find my order even though there were only 3 customers after me. I had to leave without my refund or the smoothie. read more

I love Lanikai juice. This location is okay. Service was decent. Maybe they were tired since it was close to closing when I went. Didn't stay long enough to notice if the ambience was nice. Maybe I'll try one more time and see if it was just an off day at this location. read more

Got the açaí extravaganza bowl. Tasty, quick, good portions, and affordable for the area. Easy to find parking and a nice healthy-ish cold treat on a hot day. Friend got the pacific passion smoothie and added vanilla whey protein, tasted like a pineapple whip. Was a bit water-y for a freshly made smoothie but the flavor was good. No indoor seating when I went, and usually not too busy inside. Industrial kitchen is visible from the counter and looks well maintained. Service was perfectly fine for a quick order meal. read more

Friendly service, clean ordering area, with cool murals. We only ordered a small smoothie for around $8 w/tax. I was disappointed, not much flavor and kind of lacking. For the price expected more. read more

Lanikai Juice was ahead of it's time when they first opened up, but now I feel like they are struggling to keep up with all the other similar smoothie / acai bowl spots on the island. This location of Lanikai Juice is an OG and now I must say, I'm a bigger fan of their newer locations more. The line here is always really long and the vibe just isn't as laid back and friendly as it used to be. It seems like they are catering more towards to tourist than locals. If I'm getting an acai bowl, I'll go with either the acai extravaganza or the acai monkey with peanut butter, and cacao nibs. One thing that they don't do here is put multiple layers of granola in their bowls :( I really like it when there's a base layer of granola and a top layer. If I get a smoothie, I go for the acai smoothie with chocolate protein powder. The acai smoothies only come in one size, and the protein powder adds to it- so I ask for them to split it into 2 small cups. (Last time I asked for this, they seemed annoyed at me but usually it's not a problem). Maybe it's a bit of a tourist trap now but I do have great memories in high school of hiking up Lanikai pillboxes and then coming to Lanikai juice after for a sweet treat! Now they both seem kinda basic but basic is OK! read more

Lanikai is the place that started my love for smoothies... Prior to Yelp I've always give this place some love whenever I'm in Kailua it's just the fresh sip of Hawai'i and you can really taste the freshness. I keep forgetting the two doors and I always choose the wrong door lol as it's positioned directly in front of the counter placement I just apologize and make my way to the back of the line hahaha!! As you enter you need to pay attention to the sign noting the flavor of the week as well where you get 10% off the featured items which is a great option. The vibe here screams like you're in the fish market as it's all blue with fish and other ocean creatures painted everywhere though there's nothing fishy here. I usually order the Pineapple Power, Dr. P.A.G.O or the Açaí Extravaganza but since I'm in Lanikai it was the Lanikai Splash for me today as it's loaded with Pineapple, Banana, Apple, Passion Fruit and Pineapple Juice this smoothie had it all. Love the various blends Lanikai offers all fresh and the combination makes it a healthy sip we all enjoy. Thank you! read more

Acai bowls are very basic not much flavor but the blueberries were old and mushy which is disappointing and kind of gross. Usually the blueberries get hard from being in the cold açaí bowl but these did not. I feel they are the Mcdonalds of açaí bowls, fast and not much care behind the food. Sometimes they are nice and the bowls are pretty good though. read more

Had the berry smoothie (a bit too sweet) and poga (?) juice, which was so refreshing. I personally love Lanikai Juice which is a local chain, and my favorite thing to get is the açaí bowls, which are refreshing deliciousand not to sweet. Will stick with that next time! read more

This was my grama's favorite Acai place! She loved to eat it right away in the car as soon as we bought it! The place is near because it's in Kailua and we live in Waimanalo! It's small but fun & welcoming! My favorite thing from them is the "Pacific Passion Smoothie" I just replace the papaya for extra bananas! It's "Ono". The service is efficient and they are always kind and they make the drinks and acai bowls right in front of you. Love it! Mahalo! read more

Dr Green smoothie is my go to drink here at Lanikai. It's a perfect mid day pick me up, especially hen your body is feeling really down. I really like how there's banana, ginger, & other good stuff inside to support the body when it's starting to catch a bug also. The parking here wasn't too bad, we were able to find parking super quickly, right in front of the place. The service though, idk. When I first walked in, there were about 4 people working & like 1 customer before me waiting for her drink already. Once I walked in, NO ONE greeted me, or even acknowledged me. I stood at the cashier for a good 20 seconds waiting for someone to take my order. Even while waiting, no one told me that they'd be with me soon. When the girl (who was the closet to me) finally acknowledged my presence, she looked at me & just asked what I wanted. No hi, or welcoming greetings at all. Store is big enough, with two different doors to enter from. It's located right in the corner of the shopping center. Lots of lighting that comes in. Anyway, all in all, I would hate to come here again if there's no smiles or good customer service. They need to improve on that big time. read more

Lanikai Juice - Dr Green Smoothie - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Kailua, Hawaii

A smoothie and a juice in Kailua, O'ahu, Hawaii... I saw Lanikai Juice when I was at Bookends (Book Store) a while ago. I had it in my head to go back some day and try it. Well, that day arrived... I play mahjong in Kailua every week, so, I planned on getting a smoothie before my game one day. I parked for free in front of the shop, walked in, and saw a poster for 10% off three certain items. The first thing I pointed to on the poster (when it was my turn to order) was the Sunrise Chill. The cashier asked me if I wanted it without ice... I said, "Okay". It didn't register with me that it was a juice combination of orange, pineapple, and apple. It was so good, that I drank it right away - all of it! (I think I was dehydrated.) It was refreshing, too! Since I was there - and had already registered online for their Rewards Program - I decided to get the Kailua Monkey. This was a smoothie and it took a longer time to drink because it was thicker. The contents were: peanut butter, banana, whey protein, organic soy milk, and honey. It must have been crunchy peanut butter because I chewed on little bits of peanut! The taste was quite good! These two drinks were my lunch for the day. Haha! I enjoyed it! I'll stop by again on mahjong day and try other combinations and flavors! read more

So I went the other day, amazing açaí bowl but the worker who made it for me, she was more on the younger side and didn't really have a nice facial expressions. Walked into Lanikai Juice for a CC Lemonade and walked out wondering if I had just been adopted by the nicest people on Earth. Service with a smile? More like service with a sunbeam. The lemonade was so good I considered writing it into my will. The place was sparkling clean -- I'm talking "eat-off-the-floor" clean (but don't, because, you know... manners). Prices were totally reasonable, especially considering I left feeling healthier, happier, and about 17% more hydrated. 10/10, would trust these people with my life and my smoothies. read more

Visited this place while visiting Lanikai which by the way has the best beach ever! Anyway, now to the food. I got the coco champ smoothie and it was delish, fresh and overall had a good flavor and would order it again. The service was average and was a little slow. Lanikai Juice has one of my favorite acai bowls! Just like most juice places, a little pricy.

I stopped by and ordered the Pitaya Passion smoothie. I loved the super tropical flavors from the fruit and the creaminess of the smoothie. The smoothie is more on the thin, drink-like side than thick and icy. I removed one star due to the mediocre customer service, I hadn't realized my drink had been completed for a while and I was surprised they didn't try calling out the order again to notify their customers. But overall I'd come back here again for a drink. read more

I've always loved visiting Lanikai juice whenever I'm in Kailua. Their açaí bowls and smoothies are all scrumptious. As someone isn't a huge fan of overly sweet things, I've always found their bowls to be a great balance between fruity-sweet and tart, which makes them all the better in my mind.
