After an hike at Manoa Falls Trail, we (as a group of 9) were very exhausted from the heat and hike. We were craving something cool and refreshing so came across SUGAR DADDEH's on Yelp. The drive was 40 minutes. Luckily, there was a parking lot available and shade inside the plaza. Inside the store itself, there was A/C which kept us all cool. We ordered the sugar cane juices (different ones) and gelato. Gelato was very good and melts in your mouth. The sugar cane juices were so refreshing and delicious -- took a few sips and before I knew it, half was already gone. As a fan of the sugar cane juices, Sugar Daddehs Kane Juice is definitely one of the best sugar cane juices that I've had in a long time. So glad that we came across this spot; will crave this until my next visit. Would highly recommend! read more

First off... I was CRAVING Sugah Daddehs for awhile now and so have passed by this way to find a bathroom in Kailua... I had to come here and yes... there's a bathroom available. I got the sugar cane coconut juice, and it was REFRESHING AND SO GOOD! Definitely hits the spot after a long day at the beach/hiking. The owner who was there was extremely friendly and welcoming. Refreshing, tasty and hit all the right spots on this hot beach day. We stopped by and grabbed their laarge tub of sugarcane juice with calamansi that the owner recommended. Deeelicciousss. We took it out to the beach, finished it and returned to try another flavour ;) we got the watermelon flavoured one which had bits of fresh watermelon to chew on. He also gave us a discount on our return as promised. Overall, I'd totally recommend stopping by to grab a tub to take with you. I've been coming more often as I love sugarcane juice. I even remembered to bring my jar in for a refill. As usual I just got mine plain. I don't like anything to mess with the taste of the natural sugarcane. My hubby and I have a new addiction. It's called the hapa bowl. It's half acai bowl and half frozen yogurt with honey. It's topped with different fruits and it's a winner. The hubby loves it. I went somewhere else nearby to get a poke bowl. I asked if he wanted one. He said no and that he'd rather get the hapa bowl. That's just talking about the decor in just about every Sugah Daddehs location and this Kailua is no different with a fun Instagramable wall so that your sip can have it's well deserve selfie is always fun and I do love this Kailua location as it has free parking just steps away from it's door though is shared by several other tenants it's a very must in the Kailua area as street parking is very difficult to find and on this day I loved that I was able to drive up to give them a peek. The staff is so nice as I walked in and was indecisive of what I should get along with suggestion we chatted about this chosen location and how it came to be as other places are still in question but the quality says it all. Shop is quite spacious though not much seating are offered, love that they have gelato and sorbet as well though after browsing around Kailua I really needed a drink and loved that they had Iced Tea which sounded amazing. Butterfly Pea for me lightly sweetened no flavor just as is was nice and in my refillable mason jar of course don't forget that for the best deal and to keep Kailua green with Sugah! I was curious because I have been to their Aiea location. I haven't been to their original Kahuku location, but now that the Kailua shop is open, I don't have to drive that far! Keo is one of the three owners. He is friendly, cheerful, and helpful. He asked me if I wanted to get video action of the sugar cane being pressed... yes! Stopped by to check out the new spot while my son was training Jiujitsu this afternoon. The young man and woman at the counter were attentive, polite, and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices, especially considering it's Kailua and the ingredients are fresh. I got a small half-and-half açaí bowl, which was surprisingly filling! The large is a better value and can easily be shared by 3-4 people, but since I was alone, I took mine to go and enjoyed it while my son trained. The service was unsettling. When I arrived, no one was at the counter. The staff were hanging out in a car and only came in when they saw a customer. I asked for guava juice, and instead of knowing whether it was available or fresh, one staff member pulled out the pitcher, smelled it, and then told me they didn't have it. I don't want to see my drink being sniffed before it's served -- it is unprofessional and unhygienic. What really bothered me most was the attitude. The staff didn't seem to care about the job or the customers. It's sad because I'm sure the owner is working hard to keep the business going, but with staff like this, it's going to be tough. I'm leaving this feedback not to tear anyone down, but in hopes it helps improve things -- because there's potential here, but the details (and the people) matter. read more

Went here for the first time recently with a friend and we had the most wonderful experience. We were warmly greeted when we entered and enjoyed chatting with the 2 staff members. I got the original plain sugar cane juice and my friend got the calamansi sugar cane juice- would 10/10 recommend coming here. They have a ton of other flavors and gelato as well.
