Handmade, refreshing, and delicious! Ordered the pitaya bowl with coconut flakes and it was incredible! Portions are perfect for what you pay. Olivia is the sweetest!! She was super friendly and made our order so quickly even though she was working alone. We ordered three smoothies and one acai bowl. Everything was super yummy and made from the freshest high quality fruits. It was the perfect refresher after a full day at Kailua Beach. There are a couple indoor tables to relax at. She also has a small display of jewelry for sale. There is street parking available. I would recommend this shop to anyone in the area and will definitely be coming back!! This is one of the best acai bowls I've ever had ! I absolutely loved the flavor of the bowl. Every bite was packed with either fruit, peanut butter or acai or a combo of everything. It was just perfect. Loved the flavor of the granola too. Service was pretty good - they did forget the pretzel I ordered but after a quick reminder, the staff profusely apologized and brought it out to me. The pretzel was on the healthier end - tasted like it may be made with wheat. It is was still good but not a typical pretzel I'm used to. I also didn't taste much of the jalapeno or cheese flavors but I still have the place 5 stars because the main star of the show was the acai! My husband got the deluxe acai and he loved his too ! Stopped by after hiking for a refreshing snack. Acai bowls have become super expensive! Shared one with my sis and it was $17. It was nice a refreshing though with a more tart acai flavor. Also got a watermelon smoothie which only comes in one size. It was made with fresh watermelon and delicious. Instead of updating their menu, they have their prices overwritten on the board with higher prices. Overall service was good and there's lots of choices for smoothies and acai bowls read more

I came back to give it another shot and it was well worth it. The server (Arianne) was extremely polite and attentive and honored the redo on the peanut butter/banana smoothie which came out SO good. I shared an açaí bowl and it was loaded. The quality of the açaí and fruit toppings is top tier. I saw them bringing in fresh restock as we enjoyed the afternoon snack. While I enjoy the flavor of the smoothies, which I think they're the same recipes as 'Jewel or Juice,' I'm here watching the staff make orders while I wait for the order I placed for pickup. I understand people get busy, don't fault that. One thing about food service that you're told from the beginning, *workers need to use gloves when touching food.* I'm watching as the younger girl is using A glove to make bowls, but the older female has no glove and with every drop or splash of smoothie that falls on her hand - she's licking it off then touches the lid of the cup. If I'm giving this to parents, after she's licked her hand/fingers and touched it - how is that okay? I'm trying to support local, but if they're going to get me or my 'Ohana sick - why should I? Please do better. I placed the order for a 920 pickup, they/she took 20 minutes (for an order I placed around 9am). read more

My favorite smoothie spot in Kailua but for some reason I always forget to take pictures of my smoothies! This has been me and my bf's go-to weekend snack lately. I've already tried their regular acai bowl, pb banana smoothie, lilikoi cream smoothie, guava strawberry smoothie, and the berry nuts smoothie. My favorite here is the lilikoi cream and my boyfriend's is the peanut butter banana (he claims it's better than Lanikai Juice and "the best smoothie he's ever had" haha). I don't think you can go wrong with any of their flavors. The smoothie consistency is always thick, not watery and the perfect sweetness. If you order an acai bowl, they also pack the granola on the side so it doesn't get soggy. Would recommend Warrior Acai Kailua for a hot summer day! read more

If anyone has ever asked about a great place to get an acai bowl, I always recommend Warrior Açaí. They always have a fresh in house blend that you can't find anywhere else. The workers are always so kind and knowledgeable if you need help making decisions about smoothies as well. My favorite smoothie is the Nutella Dipped Strawberry I'll always be coming back for more :) The store itself is clean and always a nice spot to relax at when you're in between destinations. read more

Parking is competitive and the shop itself is small and away from the main street. I came on the way to Lanikai beach and ordered a 24oz Warrior Bowl to-go. It was a great shareable snack to eat on the beach, and I love that you can ask for the granola on the side so it doesn't get soggy. It comes with the typical acai toppings but the addition of the bee pollen? Honestly, I dig it. You can add additional toppings for $0.50 but don't have the option to customize your own bowl. read more

This was my favorite acai spot in all of oahu. The consistency of the acai is unmatched, it was so thick and not runny at all. They didn't skimp on any of the toppings, my favorite being the almond butter. All of the ingredients are so fresh. This is a chill spot with plenty of indoor seating. Service was amazing! One of the younger guys helped us pick a bowl that we'd enjoy. Super kind and fast service. Only street parking and there's tables to sit and eat inside. I had the Deluxe acai bowl and it was very tasty! Perfect cool down after a hot day. Also good amount of toppings. The granola is more on one side so you have to mix it yourself but not a big deal. Just got my 1st Accai bowl from here ... gotta say it was Ono!! The girl helping me (Ariane) was helpful in suggesting different flavors and combinations to aid I'm my decision process !? It's a small little shop, with a clean and homely atmosphere ... The vibe was very comfortable & relaxing... besides the Accai Bowl I grabbed one of their smoothies (Berry Flavored) and that was just mind-blowingly just as good as Jamba Juice ... if not better !! Great generous and good value acai bowls. Made to order these take a minute or 2 to prepare and are full of acai and topped with fresh fruits. This is one of my fave acai bowl places to stop by in Kailua. One note noticed one time was that it tasted very banana flavored so perhaps so mixed more banana into the acai sorbet but overall it has a good texture, nice size, great toppings and you are supporting a local woman owned business. For the cost and the size this is great value. read more

Food The food was very good. We ordered two Acai bowls and one watermelon smoothie. The Acai bowls were very good and filling. The only thing to improve would be through the use of domed lids because the flat lids smashed all of the ingredients in our Acai bowls and then just about tore it apart when we opened them due to the stickiness of the honey. Service The workers were very patient with my many questions as a first time visitor and frequenter or other Acai bowl shops like Nalu health bar. They were also very friendly and were able to provide their personal recommendations upon request. Ambiance The restaurant has an eclectic, modern, health bar feel that exudes warmth and welcoming vibes. The color scheme is reminiscent of a tiki bar. The various pictures that support the menu and all of the colorful writing takes the tiki bar vibe further. I just love how there is a clear focus on sustainability and healthy living. read more

My sister and I came for a visit one morning since we live nearby but realized we haven't tried this place before. She got a Hibiscus Lemonade Smoothie, and I got a Matcha Green Tea Smoothie. We each also had a sip of the other's drink too. My matcha smoothie had only a very light matcha flavor and tasted more like vanilla throughout. If you prefer matcha to not taste as strong (like how my sister prefers), this would be a good choice. We both agreed that the hibiscus lemonade was stunning though! It had a perfect flavor balance with a strong lemonade taste throughout mixed with strawberries. We watched the employee make the drink with fresh strawberries too! Next time, I think I'd order the hibiscus lemonade too just because it was so good! The place itself currently does not offer indoor seating (likely as a covid precaution). Came here for acai after a hike and it was super refreshing! The granola comes in a separate baggie which is really convenient so that you can add it in whenever and it doesn't become soggy from just sitting in your acai bowl. The acai itself was pretty good! The fruit was also fresh. There isn't really any seating here but it is a super nice walk outside! read more

Established in 2006.

Jewel or Juice is a local own and small family business. We devote ourselves to make the best smoothies and Açaí bowls. We opened our first Kaimuki Jewel or Juice in 2006 and it's been a success. Many customers like our smoothies and Açaí bowls. Some customers live far away like Kailua or Kaneohe but still drive to Kaimuki to get their acai bowls or smoothies. Thus, we decide to open a new store in Kailua in March 2011 and very glad that people love it.

Parking was easier than I expected too. There are a lot of shops there, but I didn't have any trouble finding a spot. Inside is a little tight, especially with a couple strollers in there, but honestly it wasn't a big deal. I still got my smoothie fast, and it was really good. Just a heads up -- they may use Skippy or organic peanut butter, so if that matters to you, just ask for organic. I order the same thing from Lanikai Juice because this smoothie is that good! I typically order the Kailua Monkey which consists of soy milk, peanut butter, banana, protein, honey and ice. This is the smoothest and most creamy smoothie you'll ever enjoy. The service was fabulous on the day I visited. The female who took my order was very friendly and they complete my smoothie in less than 10 minutes.

That said, if there was only one dish to order, it would have to be the Oh WOW Laulau. Wow, indeed! No where else on earth have I found vegan laulau, let alone such a stellar rendition. Traditionally consisting of fatty pork and/or fish steamed in taro leaves, this version eschews the meat in favor of hearty root vegetables, adding creamy coconut into the mix for richness. Not to be overlooked is the Tofu Poke provided on the side, claiming to be spicy but really bearing just enough warmth to taste perfectly balanced. They have the freshest, yummilicious Acai Bowls. They come in 2 sizes, $6.50 snack size (6oz) and regular 12 Oz for $12.50 if your not a fan Acai, they have sorbet flavors coconut , Acai, strawberry and my favorite Mango. Aside from the usual sliced fruits there's a plethora of add-ons you can sprinkle on top of your bowl from Chia seeds to Caramel drizzle.
