Kewalo Basin Harbor Corner... Not official but I must give it a name as it seems this is the somewhat permanent fixture of the outdoorsy vibe with famous Kaka'ako Farmers Market every Saturday and now is the home to many food trucks. Crispy Grindz is not a newbie but is to the area on this part of the island and gosh what a welcome new flavors it brings. All things from Brazil including the familiar Açaí bowl and cheese bread by Nosh and something new to me "Pastels" dough stuffed with either savory or sweet fillings then fried in peanut oil nice and crispy I got the chicken special and this yummy goodness is stuffed with shredded chicken, spinach, cheese, tomatoes which is wrapped and fried golden all made fresh and isn't as heavy as what I thought I'd be...flavorful and just a nice perfect size for a snack. The ladies there are a delight and know this will be another convenient place to grab an açaí bowl as well as it's still blazing hot here while you can enjoy the harbor view. Thank you!

The bread is hot and fresh! It tastes like fried mochi, cheese balls. Service is not bad and prompt. It's a food truck in the kakaako farmers market. There's seating in the pier. It was so good, we went back for 5 more lol definitely recommend!

Love the Brazilian type food and snacks, they are located with plenty sitting spaces available for customers

All fresh and natural Açaí bowls... no added sugars. So delicious!! I added banana, strawberry, granola, and peanut butter. My daughter added blueberries, coconut, banana and peanut butter. They had so many choices of things to add. The açaí was made with açaí berries with a little fresh banana only. Best I've tasted!

The best açaí you'll ever find. I learned about this place from my Brazilian friends. I figure if the Brazilians eat it, it must be legit. That's not the only thing that's good either, the coxinha is actionnnnn, too. I drive here from Kailua because I refuse to eat açaí bowls anywhere else already........tired of icy bowls that taste more like a smoothie. Besides all that, the owner is the nicest!!

Service was great! Food came out fast and tasted fresh and amazing. Definitely coming back again. Praying blessings over this business!

Went for my brother's birthday last week. This was an interesting buffet style experience. The vegi…read moreoption was great but the main stars are the meat. I love their picanha style and the filet mignon. The lamb leg is a little rough and gamy to my taste. Server do check on you often and ask for your need, but the request does not always come through. We ask for ribs but never got them. Which bring to why only 4 stars, the meat does not come consistently, we basically took a bite of whatever was on the plate, then sit and waited 5-10 minutes before another meat type will come, but that might not be something you wanted so you will be waiting longer. The chessecake dessert at the end was good, so we will probably give the place another try.

My family and I are not new to the Brazilian Steakhouse scene, but we have not had Texas de Brazil. Will not be coming back. Per the menu on their website, there should have been 14 different kinds of meat walking around. We only had 6!!!! The same 6 kept coming. Nothing new. When they first came to our table with the filet mignon, it was raw in the middle. I asked for medium to medium well. They came back with 2 pieces, mind you my table is 4, and it was burnt. Almost every meat they would bring was raw. Asked our server for medium to medium well, they bring burnt. Salad area look like it had seen better days. Rice, beans, soup look like it had been sitting ALL day or it just wasn't in the pans. So sad! We love the Brazilian cheese bread at fogo de chao. Asked if they had that, the server was like yes, you are going to love them. Nope!!!! Cold, stale and hard as rock. My daughter could bounce them off the table‍‍‍. Asked for hot ones, she brings me lukewarm ones. Bathroom floors were disgusting. My shoes stuck to the floor. Horrible way to celebrate my husband. As we exited the guy says hope to see you tomorrow. Told him NOPE!!!! NEVER AGAIN.

He boldly went up to the vendor and asked for a sample which I embarrassingly looked away but he was given a piece (hey, closed mouths don't get fed) and he was immediately set on getting something from here. He got the ribs plate, I was $35 and came with salad, rice, and fries. It took a while for it to be ready, like 30 minutes, but I do understand as when it came out, it was literally a GIANT rib piece. He cut the meats off the rib and started nawing on it like a cave man. It was a very enjoyable experience for him, although, it was clear that the meat was a bit chewy and tough. The chewiness and toughness was a big let down for sure, as for all the meat that he cut off from the bone, they were all very hard to eat. HOWEVER, it was very flavorful, so I guess it is the trade-off from the way they smoke/cook it. We also added a chorizo, it was flavorful and juicy, obviously much easier to eat. The fries were good, some pieces soaked up the meat flavor which was yum. The salad was underneath the meat and got sooo greasy I couldn't eat it, the tomatoes were good though. Overall, I feel like the ribs plate was super worth it. However, you just have to be ready to put your teeth and jaw through a bit of a battle.
