This is a very interesting ice cream/boba spot. It's actually a pretty small shop, but there are a few bar stools and bar table (6 in total, I believe). Upon entering, there is a table with an ordering menu that you fill out for the ice cream. There are no cones and no "parlor" for ice cream- only written options. The standard flavors of vanilla, creamy strawberry and chocolate are available as base choices. There were two "special" flavors of the day that was kona mud pie and another unique option. You can check off on the menu PER item how you want your ice cream in regards to toppings, syrups, in a cup or bubble waffle, single scoop or multiple scoops, etc. Hubby ordered a boba tea that you don't need to fill out on the menu sheet. I'm personally not a huge fan of boba, but he enjoyed it. The lime grape boba tea was what he ordered. I was crazing something sweet so stopped for some bubble waffle. They also have bubble tea. We ordered the chocolate bubble waffle with ice cream, almond slices, Reese's and condensed milk. Toppings were included in the price. There were plenty of other toppings to choose for free and others with a fee. The waffle came out soft and warm and was tasty. It only came with a small piece of Reese's and we didn't taste the condensed milk until we got to the bottom. The portion is big and very sweet so it's perfect for sharing. I love love love ice cream, so I HAD to try Double Three! The first time I came, I got the Matcha bubble waffle with an Ube Scoop, topped with Oreos and Mini Marshmallows. I will say that if you have a small appetite and you're with a friend who also has a small appetite, you should share your bubble waffle cone because I definitely couldn't finish mine! The bubble waffle was so yummy and fresh, and the Ube was definitely a strong Ube flavor and the combination couldn't be more perfect to me! I will say that in terms of toppings, it was a bit scarce and the oreo chunks could've been smaller, but it was an amazing dessert nevertheless! The second time I came, I came for their bubble tea to pair with my Little Sparrow bowl on the way back to my friend's house, and WOW, I 100% love their bubble tea! The tea I opted for was the Yuzu Passion Fruit Tea, and at 75% sweetness, it was JUST perfect for me, with its sweetness and fruity flavor. I will say that if you're in a rush, I would not come here if you see a line. In the two times I've visited, there's only been one employee working both the register and making the ice cream and bubble tea, so the wait is always pretty long. The place is small & quaint, but there was enough room for me and my family of 6 to enjoy our own cones. Their bubble waffles with ice cream and toppings were a hit with my cousins. Easy place to find. Lots of parking within walking distance. We parked near longs. Very small little shop with inside seating and a bench outside as well. Friendly staff but I think they usually only have 1-2 people working at a time so when a big group comes in be patient with your order. This place is some weird Chinese I terpretation of an ice cream shop. I would hardly describe a place with 5 flavors an ice cream shop. There were about 2 dozen toppings and you can either get a cup or a bubble waffle (it's a waffle with bumps instead of depressions) and you order by filling out a paper form and handing it to the person at the counter, selecting what you want, the flavor of ice cream, any toppings, and any syrup. This place was a good find as my friends and I were craving ice cream. I found this place on YELP and it was easy to find and parking right out front on the street. We went in and there is a table with order forms which we were required to complete and hand over at the register. We paid, received a beeper and waited outside as this was when masks were still required. The beeper went off in about 5 minutes and the ice cream looked just like the pictures on YELP. The waffle isn't very dense and you can enjoy bite size portions since it's in a bubble form. The ice cream was very creamy and delicious. I had fresh strawberry and bananas and almond slices. Really love this place! We always stop buy for the tastiest treat when visiting Hawaii. This is the best location because it's scoops and not soft serve. That's an important distinction because the warm waffle will quickly melt your ice cream. When it first comes out, the waffle is so warm with a little crispy outside and soft inside. As you reach the bottom, it becomes soft all over because it's soaked up all of the melting ice cream. This time we got a bubble waffle with a scoop of vanilla and chocolate ice cream topped with Oreos, a Kit Kat and chocolate syrup. Balancing the cold ice cream and warm waffle in every bite is the perfect combination. We parked in the parking lot of the shopping center and walked around to the street to find the store front. Everyone who was waiting and the two staff running the show were really calm and pleasant though! There's not much space to sit inside (ten seats at most), so most people milled around outside. You get a pager when you order so you don't need to be in earshot. Each bubble is soft and chewy on the inside. The ice cream scoops are really great too being creamy but not too sweet.
