This is a very interesting ice cream/boba spot. It's actually a pretty small shop, but there are a few bar stools and bar table (6 in total, I believe). Upon entering, there is a table with an ordering menu that you fill out for the ice cream. There are no cones and no "parlor" for ice cream- only written options. The standard flavors of vanilla, creamy strawberry and chocolate are available as base choices. There were two "special" flavors of the day that was kona mud pie and another unique option. You can check off on the menu PER item how you want your ice cream in regards to toppings, syrups, in a cup or bubble waffle, single scoop or multiple scoops, etc. Hubby ordered a boba tea that you don't need to fill out on the menu sheet. I'm personally not a huge fan of boba, but he enjoyed it. The lime grape boba tea was what he ordered. As for ice cream, we ordered the following combinations: -Red velvet bubble waffle "cone" with kona mud pie ice cream and chocolate syrup - Classic bubble waffle cone with vanilla ice cream, strawberries and rainbow sprinkles - chocolate bubble waffle cone with creamy strawberry, oreo cookie crumbs and chocolate syrup The red velvet and classic bubble waffle were my favorite. The creamy strawberry ice cream was really good but the other flavors were on the sweet side- no additional toppings were necessary- in fact, I think it was overkill (though beautiful in presentation. I would probably come here again with the kids, but these are a little challenging to eat, in all honesty. The bubble waffle as a cone is nice, but not sturdy. The ice cream is nice, though options of flavor are limited. The ordering process is a little tedious when ordering multiple items, but it's understandable in order to get each one right. I was crazing something sweet so stopped for some bubble waffle. They also have bubble tea. We ordered the chocolate bubble waffle with ice cream, almond slices, Reese's and condensed milk. Toppings were included in the price. There were plenty of other toppings to choose for free and others with a fee. The waffle came out soft and warm and was tasty. It only came with a small piece of Reese's and we didn't taste the condensed milk until we got to the bottom. The portion is big and very sweet so it's perfect for sharing. I love love love ice cream, so I HAD to try Double Three! The first time I came, I got the Matcha bubble waffle with an Ube Scoop, topped with Oreos and Mini Marshmallows. I will say that if you have a small appetite and you're with a friend who also has a small appetite, you should share your bubble waffle cone because I definitely couldn't finish mine! The bubble waffle was so yummy and fresh, and the Ube was definitely a strong Ube flavor and the combination couldn't be more perfect to me! I will say that in terms of toppings, it was a bit scarce and the oreo chunks could've been smaller, but it was an amazing dessert nevertheless! The second time I came, I came for their bubble tea to pair with my Little Sparrow bowl on the way back to my friend's house, and WOW, I 100% love their bubble tea! I will say that if you're in a rush, I would not come here if you see a line. I have never been to this location and it's been a long time since I've had the one in town so I was shocked and disappointed to find out that soft serve wasn't an option. Easy place to find. Lots of parking within walking distance. We parked near longs. Very small little shop with inside seating and a bench outside as well. Friendly staff but I think they usually only have 1-2 people working at a time so when a big group comes in be patient with your order. This place is some weird Chinese I terpretation of an ice cream shop. I would hardly describe a place with 5 flavors an ice cream shop. There were about 2 dozen toppings and you can either get a cup or a bubble waffle (it's a waffle with bumps instead of depressions) and you order by filling out a paper form and handing it to the person at the counter, selecting what you want, the flavor of ice cream, any toppings, and any syrup. Finally tried this place last weekend and it was so good! We went after my nephew's bday dinner, this was his treat afterwards. This place was a good find as my friends and I were craving ice cream. I found this place on YELP and it was easy to find and parking right out front on the street. We went in and there is a table with order forms which we were required to complete and hand over at the register. Really love this place! We always stop buy for the tastiest treat when visiting Hawaii. This is the best location because it's scoops and not soft serve. That's an important distinction because the warm waffle will quickly melt your ice cream. When it first comes out, the waffle is so warm with a little crispy outside and soft inside. As you reach the bottom, it becomes soft all over because it's soaked up all of the melting ice cream. This time we got a bubble waffle with a scoop of vanilla and chocolate ice cream topped with Oreos, a Kit Kat and chocolate syrup. Balancing the cold ice cream and warm waffle in every bite is the perfect combination. We parked in the parking lot of the shopping center and walked around to the street to find the store front. Sadly, we did have to wait about 30 minutes the first night because every cone is made to order and takes about 5 or 6 minutes to assemble. There were a few families ahead of us. Everyone who was waiting and the two staff running the show were really calm and pleasant though! There's not much space to sit inside (ten seats at most), so most people milled around outside.
