I can see how parking could be a challenge but we got lucky finding a parking space and most of the customers were doing takeout so there is a lot of turnover. The menu is a good mix of local food. I felt like having fish so debated between the grilled mahi or a daily special of grilled ahi. Since it was a special I decided to get the ahi. I didn't know it was going to have a garlic and green onion topping on top. I like garlic so no problem for me. It came with 2 good sized portions of ahi, two scoops of rice, and mac salad. For the price ($14.99) I thought it was a good deal. Service was efficient and there is a good amount of tables inside. I would like to try other dishes to see if they do well with other types of food. We also ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl. Came back to get my usual corn beef hash and 2 eggs plate. Unfortunately they did increase the price on everything a little bit but it's still worth the price for the amount of food they give and how delicious it is. Bought my family this time and tried the teri beef saimin for the first time. It's really flavorful for a place I didnt know sold saimin lol. But my grandma has a weak stomach and always gets that and after tasting it, I can see why. My dad got the garlic Ahi and it was delicious! Update: Went to pick up dinner here at Pam's Kitchen in the Nanko Fishing Supply Bldg. Was just a few patrons eating in, I decided to take out ! Lots of choices & foods to choose from. Service by the women @ the counter was not rushed and pleasant. Ordered a Kalbi, seafood plate, Mac salad &rice , Kalbi, shrimp , Mahi Mahi 3 pieces each. For about $ 20.80 with tax. While waiting for the food was able to catch the World Series on their TV. The plate arrived in about 10 minutes, plastic bagged & delivered to me. Good service & clean restaurant. I usually do a phone order, where most times the lady is usually not friendly. The hamburger steak is good but is not home made. It's probably better quality frozen kind so it tastes pretty good, it's topped with onions and mushrooms which makes the food ono. I had the breakfast which I thought was not great. Asked for crispy bacon and got thick overcooked bacon that didn't taste good at all. This establishment is clean and offers a few tables for dine in. For my meal, I chose the Mushroom Veggie Omelette ($8.95), which was served fresh, hot, and perfectly filling. The omelette was delicious, and it came with a generous portion of rice on the side. The hamburger could use some bread crumbs to soften it, gravy should be poured over each burger because it was really dry. Improvement on gravy is needed. Here's another restaurant I went to in Kaneohe town, and I totally blew it by ordering the wrong thing, as I saw a few of my Yelp buddies who came here and posted some FABULOUS looking pics of their plate lunches from this place called - "Pan's Kitchen". Located just across the street from the car dealership - Windward Dodge Chrysler Jeep, you can find this little hole-in-da-wall restaurant at a small strip mall. The restaurant looks newly renovated & clean. The day I came here was on a weekday, off hours after the lunch crowd. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted right away & after looking over the wall menu, I decided to get a Garlic Chicken plate. For ($9.95) I got two scoops white rice, one scoop mac salad, and some dried out chopped up chicken with flavorful garlicky sauce. Although the garlic sauce was strong & flavorful, I wished the served the chicken in whole pieces, instead of the chicken pieces all chopped up. Since the garlic chicken was served that way, I guess when they cooked it, I felt the meat had dried up, which made the texture of the chicken no as palatable.
