First time here, heard about them on YELP and T.V. The place was pack at lunch. The food was a lot, the brisket was the best part, everything else's was good too. Wanted to order 1lbs. Brisket at lunchtime...waitress said cannot, need to save for customers? If you're in Kaneohe, give this place a try. Aloha, Derek

Whiskey smoke was donated today to a conference I was attending today at Windward community college and holy lawddddd blesss you all. Mac and cheese was perfect. Little cut up pieces of sausage was snappy and had the perfect amount of char on them. Ribs was beautifully smoked, brisket lovely, beans not too saucy or sweet. The numerous bbq sauces available, the cut up pickled radish/jalapeño really hit the spot today. Will definitely be by with my family to visit when I'm back on this side of the island. Thank you so much for the amazing food.

I had the whiskey/ coke teri burger deluxe and side Brussel sprouts. The service is very friendly. We came on a Sunday , unfortunately some of the items were sold out . The burger taste pretty good , only thing I wish the sauce had a little bit more flavor. The brussel sprouts were tasty. Most definitely will be back to try more of the menu.

Meat Platter was great! Everything was above expectations. Reasonable prices for Island Bbq. Service was awesome. Can't wait to return.

Brisket meatloaf plate, with spicy guava sauce, Elote, BBQ smoked beans, chow chow, and pickled onions.

4.5* Good, friendly service. 4.5* Delicious food. I enjoyed the brisket meatloaf, tho a little dry (add egg and breadcrumbs!) My sides were the smoked BBQ beans (amazing!) and the Elote street corn. Thankfully the Elote was off the cob, served in a paper dish (delicious!). The serving size of the sides was generous; please keep it that way! Our plates also came with chow chow, which is pickled cabbage (yellow) - ono - and pickled onions (pink). Tasty complements to a great meal! The spicy guava sauce was good, but I tried the coffee bourbon sauce and it was "brok da mout!" delicious!!! Going to order that sauce the next time I dine there! And I WILL be back!

Being that it was Mother's Day, our order was messed up when we got it and as we checked out our food we ordered at home, they put the wrong choices than the ones we wanted and it was upsetting since they didn't want that. One of the orders also had a really bad burn from their buns of the burger that was ordered too which wasn't cool. Even though, their food is not bad and actually okay, I'am disappointed with this bad order that we received on this special busy day and the worst was hearing that since they were so busy, they couldn't answer any phone calls or take out orders. You had to go to their shop to order instead of calling them. Something needs to be done and they need to change with that type of service because they should have more workers in different job roles for sure especially with handling the phone calls.

I enjoy good bbq. I have to say I enjoyed my lamb and beef. Alote was flavorful and the Mac & cheese was actually good. I am hard on grading Mac cheese but I'll give it 4/5. I did order it again. Meat was so tender. Service was good. Sitting area was small but it wasn't very crowded. Ice tea was not to sweet, good. I was impressed by the bbq flavor. Really it was good. Oh had to come back and say the bbq sauce was spicy tangy and excellent. Enjoyed it. Leftovers were delicious. I hate leftovers but Mac cheese was top gun. Yesssssssss!

We got to Whiskey Smoke 808 on Sunday, late afternoon. The driveway to the parking in the back is narrow and one way, so slow down before taking the turn in. The back has a lot of parking for the amount of tables they have for dine in guests. The dine in tables aren't meant for large parties. The max I could see was 6 and the seats are bench like. We got 2 plates, brisket and pork ribs. Our sides were rice (x2), elote corn, and mac n cheese. We couldn't decide on which sauce to get so we got them all. They gave us just a fork and I can see why a knife was not needed. The meat was so moist and it just falls apart. I enjoyed the coffee bourbon sauce and, to my surprise, the guava chili pepper. So tasty! The desserts served in the display case were so very tempting to purchase all flavors. We got ube mac nut, banana pudding, and brown butter pumpkin tres leches. so yummy! And finally, the staff was welcoming, informative, and quite attentive to everyone's needs. Very much appreciated.

Only time I ate there was when they were a small food truck vendor at a high school event, we wanted to wait for the hype to die down a bit so it wouldn't be as crowded. Overall love the location since it's in Kaneohe, the menu is simple and enough. I love the sides that you can choose. Food was great, so much flavor. I loved my bacon brisket tacos. Service was awesome, Ki'i made sure to walk around the guest and make small talk with them, making sure everyone was enjoying the food etc I will definitely be back again.

Brisket, ribs, sausage, coleslaw and rice

Best barbecue I have had in several years. We smoke our own meats and have had barbecue at a lot of restaurants and local favorites around the country. As folks like to say, this place is legit. The brisket was beautifully smoked, moist, and melted in your mouth. The pork ribs still had good texture, but fell off the bone with plenty of smoke and seasoning. Their smoked sausage had a good snap, texture and sweet flavor. Their pulled pork was well smoked with just the right texture. This is a team that believes in letting the meat shine with just the right amount of seasoning and smoke. They don't hide behind sauces. So they bring the sauce out on the side. They were busy at the lunch hour on a Thursday and obviously had a booming takeout service. The staff was friendly and approachable. The four of us would go again in a heartbeat.

So impressed with our experience at whiskey smoke! My family loves texas bbq but it's hard to find good bbq on the island. We tried whiskey smoke for the first time tonight and as soon as we got out of the car you could tell this place would be good. The smell of smoked meat surrounded the air as they were smoking the meat right from the parking lot. The workers were so friendly and even gave our dog a water bowl. We ordered "the menu" which was just described to have "a fuck ton of meat" so we started with that for our party of 6 not knowing if it would be enough but it definitely was a fuck ton. It comes with 4 sides so we got the mac and cheese, baked beans, elote corn, and rice and they were all good but nothing too special. The meat on the other hand was all amazing- it came with pork ribs, brisket, sausage, pulled pork, and chicken. The brisket was probably the best, super juicy and melted in your mouth. All the other meats were great too, all super smoky and tender. It also came with all 4 of their bbq sauces which were all pretty good, the guava and lilikoi sauces were definitely fruity which I thought was weird when I tried it on its own but actually went really well on the meat. Overall really good food and service and great value, we will definitely be back!

Grilled cheese with brisket and fries

I'm not a huge meat eater but I do occasionally go hard for brisket. Some places in Hawai'i do it well and some miss the mark. When I went here I decided to play it on the safer side and got the grilled cheese with brisket inside of it, and fries. (The lactaid is my own ;)) Holy moly! The portion size was HUGE and I could've easily split it with someone. The food was great. The service is pretty fast and the overall vibe of the restaurant is what you'd expect for a BBQ place (nothing fancy, it's all just there to make sure you can eat). What I did think was cool was that their history of working in BBQ was in framed pictures on the wall. The ONLY reason it isn't 5 stars is because of the cost. It's a little higher than what I would normally pay for a single meal (even though it really could be two, probably) and I'm sure the cost is fully justified on their end with the cost of ingredients and operating expenses. It's just above my usual budget for a treat going out.

This was our first time here. The restaurant was empty but filled up pretty quick. Servers were friendly and helped us out with the menu. They took our orders from our table. We shared a beef brisket and pulled pork combo with coleslaw and potato salad with lilikoi bbq sauce. Also got tres leches and banana pudding dessert. Food came out fast. We enjoyed the food here but once the rush came in we were largely forgotten about. The staff apologized about it so that's good to me. We came in with maybe 3 or 4 tables used but eventually it got so packed that people were waiting outside before getting tables. I enjoyed it and recommended to a friend after eating there.

Adela's is a small, take-out order only place, but extremely busy. We phoned in the order ahead of time and the wait time was about 45 mins. We got the Sweet Potato Noodles with Garlic Butter and Lechon. Gracious, it was delicious. Worth every penny. The lechon was crispy, tender, and flavorful. The noodles had the perfect texture and paired flawlessly with the garlic butter. We also got Okinawan Sweet Potato Poi Bread, but this unfortunately was blown out of the water by the noodles. She seemed like she was not too fond of tourists at all. To make things worse, there is no indoor seating. Since we were so far from our hotel, we ended up having to eat the food in our car. The food itself had massive highs and lows. The Lechon Pork Belly was amazing and delicious. I wish it had a few more purple onions, but the meat itself was a solid 10/10. However, the Garlic Butter Shrimp was horrible. It was probably the worst I have had in a very long time. The large photos on the actual menu inside the restaurant show large, unpeeled shrimp. What we actually got was small, already-peeled shrimp that tasted more like freezer burn than actual garlic butter. The service issues continued when I picked up the food. I noticed my Coke was missing and asked for it. The lady handing out the food asked the cashier if I had been charged for a soda, and the cashier said no. I know for a fact I paid for it after doing the math myself. There were other people waiting in line behind me, so I just said forget it, took my food, and left. Go for the pork belly, but skip the shrimp, double-check your receipt, and prepare for a cold shoulder at the counter.
