The noodles are very tasty, and the portions are big! One box is good for feeding 3 people. There's no seating in side and there is only one long bench outside, so this is pretty much a to-go only place. You can order ahead over the phone and pick up there. The pork belly is amazing. Super crispy skins with flavorful meat, and it matches very well with the green pasta. The taro pasta with shrimp is a different style (creamy) but also super good. Those two boxes are enough for us two for one lunch, one dinner, and another one lunch

Morninga noodles with morninga pasta sauce and garlic shrimp! Delicious and was about three meal's worth for me.

Make sure to phone in your order! Ordering was fast and easy...the hardest part was deciding what to get! Tiny parking lot, but there is street parking available. Just be patient and kind to fellow human beings. Staff is super friendly, super helpful and extremely efficient! Will definitely be back to try other dishes. Oh! And if you have room, get the cheesecake!

Still the best! Still world-class! Still the shining star of Oahu's finest restaurants! So proud of what this Ohana has accomplished in so short a time... 7 years ago when they opened I was privileged to be one of their first customers. They excelled then and they've climbed even higher since! For those who claim otherwise, look at the objective evidence: #1 Best restaurant in Hawaii #1 Best restaurant on Oahu USA Today Top 10 Restaurant in US 2024 Yelp Top 100 Restaurants in US 2023 Yelp Top 100 Restaurants in US #1 Best Homemade Cheesecake in HI And you don't have to spend a ton of hard earned money to enjoy a chef-quality meal made from all local sourced ingredients (farm to fork). Today we stopped in and it was like a family reunion! Ms Millie gave us her personal recommendation with some off-menu suggestions and we were wowed! The garlic 'Ulu pasta with fresh portobello mushrooms was sublime! This is our new go-to meatless dish! I'd match them against any Michelin-rated establishment and would bet on Adela's as the clear winner! We also opted to take Ms Millie's recommendation and added the fresh malunggay (moringa) pasta with pan sautéed mahimahi, and it was exquisite! The freshness of Italy meets the precision of Japan with the Aloha of Hawai'i! If you are a pasta connoisseur you must not pass up this place! Come and see. Mille grazie (pun intended), Arrigato Gozaimasu, maraming salamat po for reading my review.

I have been dreaming of Adela's ever since we finished our meal here. The pasta is incredible and had such unique flavors. We tried the malunggay with lechon, taro with coconut cream sauce and shrimp, sweet potato with mushroom and lemon caper cream sauce, and the braised pork. The mulanggay was my favorite, and the taro/coconut cream sauce was my boyfriend's favorite. However, literally all of them were incredible, you can't go wrong. Also, do NOT forget the cheesecake. We got the ube flavored one but I wish we got all of them. This place is takeout only and it took ~30 min for our order to be ready after calling in. The ladies at the store were incredibly sweet. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Oahu just to come to Adela's!

When I say the portions are massive, I mean it. There were four girls in our group, and we ordered two different pastas, but honestly, it would have been enough to just order one. I ordered the garlic ulu pasta with a garlic shrimp add-on. Unfortunately, it seemed like they forgot to include the main ingredient, the mushrooms. Even so, it was still pretty tasty. The noodles had a great texture, and it had the garlicky flavor we were hoping for. Despite the large portions, the pricing is quite high. Our order came out to about $50 (for the one dish) with the shrimp add-on. I was a bit disappointed with my dish, but my boyfriend ordered the braised short rib, and that completely made up for it. That dish was incredible. The meat was braised until it practically melted in your mouth, and the sauce was sweet with a slight tang. The cuts were high quality and not fatty. That dish is definitely worth it, but I probably wouldn't order my original pasta again.

Adela's has become our go-to spot whenever we're on the east side of the island. We usually order takeout and bring it somewhere scenic--like the botanical garden or beaches such as Waimanalo Beach, Kailua Beach, or Lanikai Beach. It just makes the whole experience even better. Our go-to order is the lechon malunggay pasta. The lechon is crispy, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with the malunggay pasta, which is unique, fresh, and always hits the spot. They also give you the option to have it spicy or not, and we always go for that extra kick--it makes it even better. We love the malunggay pasta so much that we even bought their dried noodles to take home with us to the mainland. We've also tried other items on the menu, and they're all great, but we always come back to the pasta. Simple, consistent, and always satisfying--definitely one of our favorite stops on this side Oahu.

Update : Had the Avacado pasta seasoned with butter & garlic & served in a separate container delicious short ribs, tasty brown gravy accompanied with sautéed mushrooms & onions. So delicious entree perfectly paired together. The flavors all pop! yet you don't really taste the avacado in the pasta. Excellent rolls in your mouth! Looking forward to trying other dishes Food at it's freshest & best Give them a call ahead , as wait times can be about 30 minutes. So worth it!

The Lechon Malunggay Pasta is absolutely delicious! The seasoning was just right. The pasta and additional veggies were a perfect combination. Come hungry and expect to park in a small parking space. This place is very popular. There are no inside seats so this is a "grab and go eat in your car" type of place. The woman who took her order was really friendly and helpful. I am so happy to have tried this spot. Yes....I highly recommend it to anyone.

adela's is a casual, takeout spot with very friendly service. they have a system for your pick up as they give you a number and call you when it's ready. took roughly 10 minutes, not too long and the line to order also moved quickly. but holymoly does this place pack their boxes! it's so much food (which the price reflects that), i'd say it's pretty worth. definitely one order is enough to share with multiple people! everything tasted great, but the lechon might get a little too salty after some bites and they weren't as crispy as we usually like, but still great flavor! i'd come back to try their other combinations as well

I'm not in the Kane'ohe area very often but whenever I am I try to always make a trip to Adela's! Aunty is always there taking orders and serving up her delicious homemade, locally sourced noodle dishes. Her eatery is takeout style so there isn't any seating inside. Just call ahead, grab and go! Must try items are the Garlic Ulu Pasta with Portabella Mushrooms & the Okinawan Sweet Potato Ube Pasta with Lechon. All the pasta dishes here are worth every penny!! Don't skip on the desserts too. She has various THICK cheesecakes, jello based desserts, banana breads, and cookies. We always save room for a slice of Ube Cheesecake! 3 minutes away from Kahala Mall.

I came when I visited the island 4 years ago and I had to come back for one of my favorite meals! First of all, the aunties here are nothing short of kind and friendly. They are the sweetest and make coming back even better. I ordered the #3 and the portion size hasn't changed. Neither has the taste! The lechon is flavorful and crispy while the noodle are unique but so delicious. The garlic sauce really lingers in your mouth, but it tastes too good for me to care. There's no seating inside as it's a take out place, but we took it to the nearby Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden and ate on the picnic benches.

    Malungay pasta with lechon
    Ashley Z.

Portions were huge and two people can share. Only giving it 4 stars because I liked the Malungay pasta and didn't like the taro otherwise I'd give it 4.5-5. I would definitely recommend the Malungay pasta with lechon. Also, if you order at the restaurant there's a 20-40mins wait. We had a local friend who recommended order ahead but we decided not to. People who ordered ahead got their food instantly. Overall good eats and will visit this local food staple when visiting the Kaneohe side!

This has been on my list for years and the crazy part is the bf just lives down the street so I finally convinced him to go today...can't believe I've been missing out on this place for so long. They've made the yelp top 100 for several years and now I can confirm why. It's a small little storefront with takeout only. The pictures definitely help when making your selection. We ordered one meal to share, lechon with garlic fried rice and we were stuffed. The rice had good flavor and not overly greasy like some fried rice dishes. Topped with tender and juicy Lechon that had perfectly crispy skin. The balance of rice and meat was even through the whole dish. We had the black pepper vinegar for dipping to add some more flavor to the meat. This place Is deserving of 5 stars. The service was fast and friendly. We were helped by the owner, and everything was very efficient. Waited no more than 10 minutes. They also sell all of their noodles, which ranged in all sorts of flavors. The Oreo chocolate cheesecake was also great. Not too sweet, the cake was dense, yet light. Looking forward to trying the garlic noodles on my next visit. Great overall experience and good!

I've tried an abundant of ramen from Noods, but my go-to is their vegan ramens because they have so many options and I could use a little vegan meal in my life every now and then (because of my acne). The ambiance may not be a restaurant, but it's ramen, you can't be asking for much, just good food and good place to enjoy. Since this location is in a food court, it's gotta have fast service, which it did. Service is also a lot more simple than the restaurant because over here you order in one area and then you have to pick it up at the other end when it's ready. The food court provides ample seating, but I suggest grabbing a seat first before ordering so that you get a table near the ramen bar and you don't have to walk far with a large bowl of ramen across a busy food court. Overall, the ramen(s) I've eaten here have lived up to the standard I expect from Noods, which is great. This means you don't have to go all the way to Kaimuki to get some good, quality ramen.

Not one thing to complain about. Also love their variety of sauces available on the table--don't even have to ask! The coffee was delicious too. I had it black and it was rich and smooth, no bitterness at all. And I split the fried banana dessert with friends (avoided the ice cream)...which I should mention I'm pescatarian and I avoid dairy. Love a place where I can enjoy my meal along with the company of my meat-eating, dairy-drinking loved ones. Again, something for everyone. Parking is on the side of the building. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Restrooms are very clean. Worth the drive to the 96744 zip code. Will definitely be back soon!

Inside/Outside Seating: Tight seating inside but it felt cozy during the rainstorms we've been having. They also have beautiful outdoor seating too. Definitely a nice homey gem to take someone special. Food: this place is definitely underrated. The vermicelli, pho, stir fried udon, all bangers. Theres only such a handful of super good food on this side and I'm definitely adding it to my list. The food is simple no frills but it tastes like a nice homemade meal with love. I really appreciate that they don't load half of the vermicelli dish with veggies. Instead, they gave us the veggies on the side. Service: Friendly Mom and Pops ran establishment. The owners actually have several other locations in town called "Pho Viet" but each is equally as tasty in my opinion. Overall 4/5 because I've tasted the best of the best and this is close!
