Kalbi fries.. I think would taste better without that weird white creamy sauce
    Taylor N.

Friendly staff, short wait for the hot / fresh food, and fair pricing! I ordered the Kalbi fries which were a hit. Just wasn't a fan of the white creamy sauce... they even put it on my poke which made it taste gross. Their downfall, is not staying open true to the hours they are supposed to be!

This is the Blackened Ahi salad....started eating it right away. This is 'da bomb'. So far, everything I've eaten from here is awesome!

Whoa! Look at this Teri-Burg and khalbi fries!! The sandwich was satisfying and oh boy! The khalbi fries are awesome!! Love these guys!

Small operation with outstanding food. Huge portions. Hard to find but worth it. A true belly buster place to eat.

Update: was craving Poke. Go to Flyin Ahi ! They have fresh Ahi Poke, not frozen fish Their spicy & shoyu is so good!I saw a combo 2 poke plate, served with white short grain rice, macaroni& toss salad, Taegu online, that was not on the menu, The owner/chef made it avaliable for me. At $16.00 this plate is so delicious& the service is so polite& efficient. They do not take phone order& their hours vary , so go during normal meal hours, 11am -3pm to be safe. This takeout is the real deal@ reasonable

Such a great hidden gem. Follow them on IG so that you know when they are open, because they also do catering. The food here is amazing and unique. The limited menu ensures that what they cook is done right! My husband ordered the fish & chips. NOT your typical F&C, the fish has some type of delicious flavorful sticky coating on it. So ono! I ordered the ginger scallion sauced ono and was not disappointed. AND, the kalbi fries are a meal in itself. A little hard to find, they are located in a breezeway between the front and back parking lots. When open, there is a desk with a bell. Ring and order. No seating, so take out only. Highly recommend!

First off, the hype about this place is legit. You can't come to Flyin Ahi and not get the kalbi fries, it's what they're known for. It's always my go to order and I'll probably never get sick of it. The amount of flavor packed in those fries are insanely good and they are not stingy on the pieces of kalbi either! Their poke, katsu, chicken and fish are a must try as well! It's always a pleasure to be served by Shaw. The cooks and service there are tremendous and that is what has been bringing me back to this little hole in the wall. The FOH has not been opened yet (to my knowledge) but ordering take out is still just as good.

Friendly service with good lunch hours and surprisingly good prices with good portions. The order was mixed up so I'll have to order the kalbi fries again because I got home and it was rice and chicken. The spicy poke was pretty good and the fish tacos were bomb! It's a little tricky to find the first time but we'll give it another shot to try the ahi katsu.

Hole in the wall takeout place. You'll need to ring the bell in the front to catch their attention. I think the person taking the orders is the same person cooking. I only tried their kalbi fries with a side of spicy ahi, and this combo was soo good. The kalbi is cut into thin pieces so it's easy to pick up with your utensils. The kalbi was well seasoned and is not too chewy. I really like their poke too. Lots of fries, good for 2 people. Would definitely try more of their poke and other dishes.

The Kaneohe location is just a take out window. But the food is great. I had a Ahi Katsu plate that was enough for two meals.

    This place rocks !

The people are amazing & so is their food. Prices can't be beat ! Love everything about this place !

Fish tacos were amazing! Fries were also great and the service was quick. 10/10 experience!

My husband & I found this hole in the wall by a simple Yelp search of best places to eat in Kaneohe. We got the mix poke plate & the Kalbi fries. Everything was great! We plan on coming back to try more of their food!

Checked and they said another 1hr 45min. Then added another 30 min, then another. Total time waited was about 2 hrs 30min. Understandable that it's so busy especially on holidays, but to not have a decently accurate ETA wasn't looking too good. Finally got sat, and the wine cups and silverware were dirty... Food did time some time to come, but again, it's a holiday so to be expected. Server was kind and accommodating, really nice woman. Prime rib was HUGE, but the bone was also a decent chunk of it, not too bad though. New York steak was very dry. Ordered one medium and one half of the steak was medium well-well done, the other side was cooked to med-rare but somehow the whole steak was VERY dry. Would not recommend. The other New York steak was cooked fine. Caesar salad did have some pieces of old/dirty lettuce, but a good size for a big family. The ribs were decent, sweet. Parking is a toss up, gotta get there early or get lucky. Else it's street parking.

You can choose your broth and then first round of meats using the paper. You then go to the self-serve bar to get snow crab legs, veggies, noodles, tofu, seafood, sauces, and other items. The broth came in personal pots and took a little while to heat up and boil. Meats come fast after ordering. The self-serve bar items looked fresh and were in quantities where it seemed like they were changed often. The only thing I noticed was that the thai basil in the sauce section was mostly wilted and brown/black. Other items looked clean and fresh. The snow crab legs were fresh and tasted great. The meats were thinly sliced and were really delicious. I got the tom yum base and it was a very subtle broth and you could taste the lemon inside it. It was refreshing and light.
