On the positive side, my food was prepared correctly. On the practical side, they need to find a new name for their drive-through. Calling it Rapid Drive-Through is laughable. I sat at the pick up window for five minutes before an employee came and/or noticed me there. Instead of her handing me my order that was fully ready, she decided to take a drive-through order first. I came to this location today through the rapid pick up line after ordering online 20 minutes ahead of time and selecting drive thru. The lady at the drive thru window told me I need to go inside to pick up my order because her boss is trying to enforce a new policy. My question is why build a brand new Panera with a "Rapid Pickup Drive Thru" if no one can use it? I understand the lady letting me know as she is not in charge of policies, but it was an unpleasant experience to say the least. I will not be returning to this location. read more

We come to this Panera quite often, and every time we go we are greeted with pure joy from Misty, who has now become our friend! She is such a positive friendly person and always has a smile on her face. She is the best and we will literally come just to see her. And it's not just us, she has interpersonal relationships with all the regulars. People come in, and she knows them by name. Very clean, new place. I like the choice of soups that goes well with the bread. This is now my favorite Panera bread and this local too.

Panera bread has great food, but their ordering system is not good. I have placed my order only to arrive and then tell me they sold out of the Soufflé' that I had ordered and paid for. Well, that means you should make another and make sure I get the food I ordered and paid for. Maybe there needs to be a change in how this is managed or an update to the online system. I love Panera bread there food is great but I ordered online for rapid drive throw pick up and I was stuck in line for 10 minutes because the drive threw line merges with rapid pick up. Returned to have lunch at Panera Bread, which has been one of my favorite lunch spots here in Yucaipa. I was extremely disappointed to learn that the menu had been changed, impacting the Tuna Salad sandwich in a very negative way. They switched from using Black Pepper Focaccia bread to Sour Dough. There was no indication of such a change posted on the large menu (behind order counter). It completly changed the taste & texture of this one-time favorite of mine. Last time I order this item. Sorry to see such a 'winning' menu item spoiled by someone's decision to make such a change. I guess they missed the, "If it's not broken, don't fix it" memo! read more

Food is decent considering the premium prices, but still lacking in value. This review is for this particular location, where they often get my order wrong. Just now, I noticed they checked the box for 2 items on the attached order receipt, but they were missing in the bag. It was only the two baguettes, but I would have had to drive all the way back to Panera to get them. If they can't follow simple directions, how are they going to handle the more complex challenges of life? Grade schoolers in other countries can do a better job than these "adults". l realize they are only average Americans, but surely they can do better. Well here we are several months later. Nothing has changed. My Greek salad was wilted. I ask for no croutons on the French Onion soup (it was on the receipt correctly) but was in the soup anyway. Soup is always cold. Also my husband's bread on his sandwich was soggy. Nothing worse than WILTED lettuce and SOGGY sandwich bread. This time I am totally done with Panera here in Yucaipa. read more

I don't normally eat at Panera but I received a gift card and I said let's give a try. I ordered the pick 2 so I got the Pepperoni flatbread pizza and broccoli cheddar mac and cheese in a bread bowl. The flat bread pizza was amazing, It was crispy and cheesy and the pepperoni has an amazing flavor. The broccoli cheddar Mac n cheese was good, it was creamy and the shells were cooked perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised and will be back for the flatbread pizza for sure. The service was great and fast. 10/10 read more
