My wife is a Panera Sip club member for the past three years. She started at the Redlands location and was never really a fan of their lukewarm service. However, when she noticed that this Panera was closer, she decided to try out their drive-through. They were always friendly and efficient even though her coffee order is a bit complicated (large iced coffee with extra half and half and "four pink sugars"). She frequents throughout the day with different orders (Bubly, hazelnut coffee, black iced coffee, diet sodas...pretty much everything). Even if there is a small issue with her order, they are quick to correct it. One day while she picked up complicated coffee order, Lance, one of the dedicated workers, decided to talk with her. He remembered her every time she came through the drive though. She never returned to Redlands since. Overtime, she met different staff members including Ander, Leah, David, Gio, Jo, Ben, Meadow, Michael (manager), Penny, Jocie, and Misty who are all very kind. They make her mornings, afternoon, and evenings keeping her caffeinated during her day. There some days when the kids crave a cookie or sweet treat and we dine in. They always have a clean, inviting atmosphere allowing us to enjoy our treats. My wife has been to different Panera Breads within the area as a Panera Sip Club member. She can say with confidence that Yucaipa Panera Bread has the best hospitality, consistency, and overall quality. read more

I love Panera and we go here often but EVERY time we order from this location they get something wrong. I've let it go the other 15 times because it's just not worth the effort or drive to correct it but it's getting exhausting to pay for food you either don't receive or comes out wrong, like getting meat on a sandwich that asked for no meat or forgetting sauce we paid extra for. This location desperately needs help with organization because the fact this happens every weekend is both exhausting and shows a lack of care on the staffs part that are working on the weekend, which makes me wonder if the work environment is just far to stressful or they aren't being compensated enough/trained enough to care for the customers food. read more

Absolutely delicious! The Mexican street corn chowder is everything I didn't know I needed--creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. What I like about Panera is that you can just sit in there and do your homework and study. It's a very chill vibe in there. The staff are always nice and they welcome you in. Ordered through the app to dine in the restaurant. App ordering was super easy, even using my rewards for discount. Walked in and approached the registers. There was a girl at the register, no other customers waiting. I stated we had already ordered, pointed to the window saying I believe that's ours, and gave her my name. Nothing, dead stare despite eye contact. A woman comes up to the side of the register and starts showing the same girl something on her phone. The girl engaged and is now talking with that woman, while we're still standing in front of her. Another girl walks up to the register next to this one and says she can help whoever is next (people had now come in behind us). I again state we ordered online and I believe that's our food in the window. She immediately checks and confirms it's our order. The good itself is good as always. I have been turned away and refused service by the staff at this Panera, twice. The customer service here is an odd mix of security-guard type oversight mixed with deliberate malicious observance. The same way a security guard watches and oversees workers with an authoritative demeanor, is the same way the staff here treat patrons of color. Panera Corporate office needs to immediately intervene and clean up the management at this Panera location. This morning I spoke to a gentleman inside Panera who shared his unsolicited opinion of the staff at this Panera. This gentleman who I had never seen or met, shared with me how openly rude and condescending the cashier is at this Panera location. He added that he had already spoke to the manager twice and no changes had been made. I have dealt with the same dude and condescending behavior. I never saw this happening where a random person wearing an unfriendly Manchester United soccer shirt drops a lyrical bomb on me where he is sharing the same negative experiences as I had repeatedly experienced at Panera Yucaipa. I had an order from another store that forgot all of our cream cheese. 4 regular and 1 walnut. The original store couldn't bother to answer the phone on a not busy Sunday morning. Luckily this location was nearby. I met with Misty who was able to help me out and get me my over $20 in cream cheese. I asked if they would be recovere the cost of the loss from the other store and I was told this store assumed the loss! Very common to pre order and when you get there, they tell you they sold out (breakfast). Has happened more than 5 times. Today, they packed the wrong order. I am leaving this location right now, and this is the fifth time in the past two months that I have come and they have been out of everything bagels. Right now it is 7:15 AM and they are already out. I went through the drive through around 4:00PM to pick up a bowl of Chicken Noodle soup for my Daughter who has COVID. I picked up the Chicken soup from Jonathan and brought the soup home. I've been coming here since they opened and with the exception of a couple of months have had a pretty consistent sip club. Today I ordered my strawberry lemonade and sent my son in to pick it up. I always order it right before I go in because I don't like ice in my drinks so before they pour it I ask for no ice (since they removed the option on the app for no ice). My son comes out and said they told him they had to put ice in the drink. Me being a little confused since I'm asking for them to not put something extra in my drink I went inside and asked the guy behind the counter. His response was management decided they can't do no ice anymore. I spoke to the manager on duty who said their general manager, Jonathan Flynn decided they go through too much strawberry lemonade so they have to put ice in it. This is a ridiculous rule since I could go in there and guzzle it down and then ask for a refill. If you don't make enough of a certain drink adjust how much you make and if you're losing money on a drink then stop serving it, don't change your policy to piss your customers off. read more

I sat at the pick up window for five minutes before an employee came and/or noticed me there. Instead of her handing me my order that was fully ready, she decided to take a drive-through order first. I came to this location today through the rapid pick up line after ordering online 20 minutes ahead of time and selecting drive thru. The lady at the drive thru window told me I need to go inside to pick up my order because her boss is trying to enforce a new policy. My question is why build a brand new Panera with a "Rapid Pickup Drive Thru" if no one can use it? I understand the lady letting me know as she is not in charge of policies, but it was an unpleasant experience to say the least. I will not be returning to this location. read more
