Accommodating, friendly service. They go above and beyond. Really love Panera as a fast food/healthier option compared to many others. My favorite is the pick 2 with the broccoli cheddar soup and the fuji apple chicken salad. So good! Don't forget the passion fruit green tea. Never eaten at a Panera before (there are none where I live), but was visiting family in the area and we needed a quick place for lunch. First, and maybe this seems minor, but a bakery that sells breakfast bagel sandwiches should not have a cutoff for breakfast (i.e. no egg and cheese on a bagel after 10:30am) - I've never heard of such a thing. You aren't making omelets or French toast. Cooking an egg in a microwave requires a trivial amount of additional equipment/food to keep on hand and running during the lunch hour. Second, no respectable restaurant - fast casual or not - should be making grilled cheese with Kraft Singles. I took one bite, and the rest of the sandwich literally went into the trash. If Kraft Singles really needs to be the default "cheese", at least ask the customer if they would like something different. Third, when I ordered a bagel and cream cheese for my daughter, they provided an average bagel that was cut and toasted, but then gave us a sealed, cold, single use container of cream cheese to spread ourselves. Once again, maybe seems like a minor thing, but that is just an incredible lack of effort. FWIW, the people who were actually working were all fine - I know these decisions aren't up to them. I don't usually go to Panera at least not as frequently as I did when I was in middle and high school when going to Valley Square and Panera was considered a 'night out'. However I've gone twice, recently, since the COVID-19 pandemic and and I'm very surprised with how they have been handling things. The first time I did curbside with a bread bowl and soup. My first choice was unavailable as that seems to be the biggest problem at this Panera- no matter how crowded or not, they're usually out of a lot of items. I recently also tried a breakfast sandwich from them which was actually surprisingly good. Panera has gotten rid of my favorite menu items over the years (looking at you Greek flatbread) and there food is ... well it's Panera, it gets the job done while being moderately tasty. The staff was quite nice. I signed up for their coffee subscription thing and I'll definitely be cancelling that. The iced coffee - no frills - just regular coffee wasn't necessarily bad, it left me with terrible heartburn and must have been much more acidic than it tasted. Overall Panera will remain a valley square staple that I'm happy is still there for the times when you just want a bread bowl or a no frills pastry. read more

The fire alarm went off first thing I got my food and there was no fire but we sat outside for 30 minutes. Workers were laughing and yelling that it wasn't their faults and not giving us any information. I even saw one worker take a smoke break instead of telling her customers what's going on. When we got back inside the food was cold and they offered us nothing free no refunds and didn't even offer to re heat or re make the food that sat out for 30 minutes. I love Panera and I always get the same thing grilled cheese and broccoli cheddar soup. I will never get that here again. I don't know if it's the soup or the grilled cheese but it has made me sick the past 3 times I've ordered it. I thought maybe they had a bad batch so I waited and ordered it again. Panera in Warrington is in an excellent location, right in The Shops at Valley Square, along side numerous other shops. Perfect choice for if you're shopping and want to grab a quick bite to eat. I ordered my usual combo - 1/2 soup and 1/2 sandwich. I opted for tomato soup paired with a tomato mozzarella flatbread sandwich. The meal came with a choice of bread, apple, or chips. It came out to right under $10. The food came out pretty quick. The restaurant was packed but it was easy to find seating. It was by no means the cleanest restaurant but hey, food was good, service was quick, and so it got the job done. read more

I went to get a vanilla cream cold brew and asked for the 20 ounce and was basically told I wasn't allowed to get it. It was under cold brew and the lady was rude to me and said "it's a specialty drink and only comes in one size". I pointed to where it was on the menu in the store where it is listed to come in 2 different sizes and she still refused to give me what is displayed in their store. The ounces are not an issue for me it was just the way it was handled and how it is displayed. It should be covered so that it is not confusing for the customers. I also looked in the app to see if maybe the location just had the wrong information and you are able to pick either size. Not sure what the issue is but it needed to be addressed. read more
