Never go here. The customer service was terrible and a man who works there literally came in to threaten with violence the manager/owner who appeared to accept the treatment. The disgruntled employee antagonized the manager and said they should take it outside where they would presumably beat the crap out of each other all this while I was trying to order a hoagie and ask if they have cheese steak hoagies - which they don't. This location doesn't carry them. It's a strange unhappy place and employees threaten to beat each other up as you're trying to order cheese steaks they don't have. Hands down the best quality meats and cheeses in any hoagie around outside of South Philly and NYC. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars even though they are my fav is because their breaded eggplant barely has any eggplant in it anymore. It's like a shmear rather than a slice. Still the best flavor in the Nonna's veggie - now, I'm a meat lover, especially Italian meats but that Nonna's Veggie is amazing. This particular primos has been serving my friends and family for years. The owner / guy who runs it always remembers our orders -- he speaks fast and I think people here are taking it as him being unfriendly, and he's not. I went into store at 7:00pm to place an order the guy said were closed but asks me did i have a DoorDash order. I said no and left to my car to check if they were still on DoorDash. I have never been disappointed in the food; their hoagies are among the best in the area and if it was taste alone I was rating, I might give 4+ stars. Honestly, the fact that they offer a good product and they are open on Sundays are the only reasons I order from Primo. The service and treatment of customers is deserving of 1 star. Every time I call or go inside to pick up, I feel like my business is not valued. Without going into too much detail about my experience today, I will just say that in my opinion, the way I see an employee treating other customers is the way I expect I will be treated. The guy I first spoke with, I could barely understand but pretty sure he told me I could not cancel, then the owner called me and told me I would be refunded but I never was. I literally live across the street from PrimoHoagies in Hatboro. I ordered two hoagies on a Sunday morning to be picked up. The man who answered the phone was VERY RUDE. I was ordering for someone else and was uncertain what type of tuna he wanted. I was trying to find outthe difference and twice he said "That's what I'm asking YOU What do you want? I should have told him where to stick his hoagies, but was on my way to a picnic or I would have canceled the order. I like Primo's, but I never seem to get a good hoagie at this location. They put oregano on your hoagie, unless you tell them not to. Then when I finally got that down, they put onions, lettuce, and tomato on the R &S Special. This is inconsistent with what I have gotten at other Primo's locations. The staff is fine. I picked up a catering order and the gentleman at the counter was smug and condescending for some reason. It was a struggle to communicate the order over the phone as well. I have to agree with Dave on the customer service aspect of this business. While ordering I was ready to hang up because I felt like my business wasn't wanted. I made a mistake when choosing a size of the hoagie and it sounded like he was talking to me like I was a five year old, except a five year old would have still been talked to in a better tone. I also asked to check if we were in delivery range. Now, Jimmie Johns is an equal distance away and they do not deliver to my work. So when I asked he basically questioned my ability to measure a foot versus an inch. I ended up sticking with it because I love Primo hoagies. Well as usually the food was great but it's difficult for me to recommend when half of the experience is customer service. I really hope they straighten that aspect out because I'm going to give them one more chance and if I get the same rudeness again I will not forget it. read more
