They forgot my sauce and I even had an extra order of sauce on the side so that is money wasted. When I arrived my order was sitting on the counter towards the cash register but the worker making my order walked away to do something else so I assumed my order was done as the bag was sealed. I suggest backing in when you park because cars zoom into the parking lot off of 611. Atmosphere: average noise level. They have charging stations in the seating area. They also have outdoor seating. Service: It was ok. They are pretty busy, so it took a while for my order. Food: I ordered the stir fry veggies with kale, mushrooms, garlic, onion, sesame, avocado, and garlic sauce. Took out from Honeygrow in Willow Grove using their app and it was a very good experience. The app allows one to customize their order and is easy to use. Pickup was efficient and accurate. Turning to the food, I had the spicy garlic with egg white noodles and tofu. I liked that pineapple was included giving the dish that sweet and spicy taste. The texture of the noodles was exceptional. In addition, a Greek salad was ordered. Everything was fresh and the crunchy chickpeas gave nice crunch to the salad. The Tuscan dressing was ok. I had Honeygrow YEARS ago in Center City Philadelphia, and I have been to another location in King of Prussia, and was always waiting for a location to appear closer to me, so I was so thankful they opened here in Willow Grove! It reminds me of Crisp Kitchen in Center City (before they shut down) which was one of my favorites! The parking lot feels a little congested, but the inside of the restaurant is HUGE and very spacious. Both times I went, there were some people eating inside, but I feel like a majority of the people do take out and leave (which I'm fine with since I like to dine in). I appreciate the fact that you order on screens so you don't have to convey your order to anyone (my order isn't exactly complex, but I like to add a lot of different things). I ordered the create your own stirfry with brown rice, grilled chicken, pineapple, crispy onions, parsley, candied pecans, and shaved parmesan. DELICIOUS!!! I put the Sesame Garlic sauce mixed in with extra sauce. I also ordered an Honest Tea (Half Iced Tea, Half Lemonade). The food was really good and they give you a great portion, I was so full afterwards (but I ate the entire thing!) The reason why I am giving the three stars is because: 1.) My husband and I wanted to sit at our usual table, but there were a bunch of clipboards and papers talking about shifts. (All good though, we just sat at a different table!) 2.) Shockingly Horrible - noodles DROWNING in "sauce" I have ordered 3 separate times from this location (tried to give it a chance) and my order has been made horribly incorrectly all 3 times. I ordered my noodles with sauce ON THE SIDE but either my order ends up swimming in way too much sauce or I get none at all. Furthermore, the estimated time for pickup from the app is severely incorrect. For a pickup order I placed in advance, it took 30 minutes AFTER the pick up time for the food to be made. Overall, I guess you have to order 1 hour in advance if you want just 1 bowl of stir fry. For the price point, lackluster taste, and horrible service from the get go you're better off grabbing food elsewhere. read more

This was the first time that I did a take out order from this place. Ordered a salad and a stir fry. The salad was all good. My first impression of the stir fry was that the rectangular container seemed too small. So I kind of got disappointed that the portion will be small. But I was pleasantly surprised that it seemed small but the portion was just right. As a suggestion- maybe better to switch to a plate container just like the salad one, would probably give a way better first impression, cause the rectangular container reminds me of a cheap Chinese restaurant take out. read more

What was served were greasy noodles, chicken, and mushrooms. Where were the spicy cherry peppers, the red onions, the cheese wiz, and the shaved parmesan? It was a HUGE disappointment to leave out more than half the toppings. Maybe you need a bit more quality control. The only reason I didn't speak up at the time was I was meeting a friend who I hadn't seen in years and didn't want to waste my time re-ordering my food. Went to Honeygrow today for the first time since the family / friends preview and it just did not hit the mark. They messed up my family's order - swapped the veggies in the two orders so it was wrong and forgot to add jalapeños which we paid extra for. The wait was long, but I don't mind that if the quality is there. I get it was very busy which I'm understanding to. The fact that we paid extra for something which we did not receive and also that the person handing out orders was rude- is not something I'm understanding of. It was too busy to speak to anyone in the store about our incorrect orders and by the time the fourth person in our party ordered they were out of the main ingredient in one of the bowls. Ordered the spicy chicken and it was missing the flavor and heat it usually has which was a little disappointing. Once agin, my order is wrong. It's funny how you order a salad centered around noodles, and noodles are not included. I stopped ordering here for a few months because my orders were consistently wrong. I'm not sure how because everything is spelled out on the receipt/ticket. Honestly, my very first visit was good - quick service and food, but, since then I've been back at least 5 times and only 1 of them was good. The other experience have all been very slow. I'm talking waiting 60+ minutes for my order. I write this as I'm standing here now waiting 45+ minutes past my online order pickup time, still waiting. Sometimes their online ordering is turned off, and other times when it's on, I get there and they announce they're running behind because their ordering system wasn't working. Not sure what's going on here, but they need some guidance from other HG locations perhaps. read more

3rd times not the charm! Another visit, another time of meals not having key ingredients. Spicy chicken cheesesteak ordered as is- no cherry peppers or noticeable amount. No whiz, daughters meal as well missing ingredients which is overly frustrating because they tape the order to each product. Also, I never got a text that my order was received to be prepared so out of concern, I told the woman at the register my daughter might have put in the wrong number, could you check and she said they don't do that. I said I was here a couple other times and they did, she said they have no idea how to see your order/number until it's called out to say it's done like she just did. I wanted to wait until I had a few visits under my belt before giving this new spot in Willow Grove a review. So far I have either ordered take out or dined in approximately 5 times and every single time was a great experience. The salads are top notch with great ingredients and an awesome wawa-esque kiosk for customizing your order, with the added benefit of paying for it there as well. The take-out orders were ready on time even if the place was busy. When dining in, the food has consistently been ready in 5 minutes or less. To be fair though, I have only eaten inside for lunch on weekdays. I imagine the wait is substantially longer on weekends and for dinner. Back to the food..the portions are perfect. Far better than the other new-to-the-area fast-casual chain, Chopt. The selections of dressings are delicious, especially the White Balsamic Vinegarette. Haven't had any issues with lackluster or missing ingredients yet. If I had one minor complaint, it would be that the staff could be a bit friendlier. They are kind of in their own bubble back there and don't acknowledge you much or show appreciation for your patronage. However, if that's the sacrifice that needs to be made for the food to come out on point and fast, than I can live with that trade off since it's not a table-service restaurant. I've had good experiences at this location of HG. I did go the first week they opened and ordered in advance online so my wait was not too long but I did see a huge crowd of folks waiting for the their food. I'm thinking it was related to it being so new and the team working out some opening week glitches. I've since ordered a few times for lunch and have not had to wait very long but can't speak to their dinner rush - maybe that's when the wait times increase. As for the food, we were happy with portions and taste. I love that you can customize at HG for dietary restrictions and love their sauce options for the noodles and also love the salads. We didn't even eat. Sat at a table and waited over 30 minutes for our food while the staff laughed, talked, and danced around in the cooking area. There seemed to be a huge backlog of food and no one was in a hurry to complete orders. We got a refund and left. And this is supposed to be faster food than going to a sit down restaurant...?! Update: I filled out a survey on 24 Aug & left a comment that I'd like to be contacted to discuss. Received an email the next day telling me that if I wanted to speak to someone about my experience, I had to reach out via their website contact page. I would have thought the information I put in the survey would be enough to get a direct email or phone call. I don't feel it should be up to me to reach out a third time. I'm beyond it at this point. I was never looking for anything in return except to know that this was being addressed. I've had Honeygrow from other locations and it's usually pretty good. This was my first, and last, time ordering from the Willow Grove location. The least annoying part of my issue is that 2 of the 5 items I ordered weren't in the order. I used Uber Eats so perhaps the fault was with the driver. Regardless, of the 3 it's I did have delivered, the two that were the actual meal and noodle dishes tasted like medicine. I don't know why that is. I didn't take more than the first bite.
