There were things I liked and things I didn't like when trying McAlister's for the first time today. First, the staff were nice and the place was clean. The kids meal is a good value. My daughter loved her huge baked potato. I liked my iced tea. However, the "pick two" portion size left me feeling hungry. The half sandwich had maybe 1.5 slices of turkey and 1/2 a slice of bacon. It was gone in 4 bites. The cup of soup (the loaded potato) was maybe filled halfway and tasted strange. I'm not sure I will return. read more

1st at this deli place.. I ordered the BLT with avacado , requested to take avacado out. It was no problem. The Sandwich look to good to eat. I also ordered a lemonade ice tea sweeten. A really great place! I ordered a large order for a work function, and the manager called me the morning of to verify everything and then delivered the food and took the time to set it up for us! He was so gracious, that he wanted to run back and bring us drinks! I have always touted this place as a good idea for lunch, and now my coworkers feel the same. Food is awesome! read more

I'm tired of reading the bad reviews for this place - when there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If you don't like chain restaurants - don't go. If you think that a restaurant should have absolutely no wait time or no hiccups during their first few weeks or even month open - don't go. Did I experience any of these things myself ? No. I ordered on the app. If you sign up for an account you get a free sweet tea. You pick the time you want to order. I ordered a half an hour ahead so I placed my order at 12, for a 12:30 pickup. I got in the drive thru, which is only for online orders, and my food was ready and waiting for me and the staff member that waited on me was very polite and nice! I had absolutely 0 issues. My food was prepared exactly as I requested. I got a Rachel sandwich, sub ciabatta, with the pickle on the side. And I upgraded to a side of Mac and cheese. I like how customizable everything is on the app. You can make all kinds of adjustments. The sandwich was PACKED full. Tender meat, nice and warm. Good bread. The side of Mac and cheese was also very good! You can do a "pick 2" similarly to Panera, or order a sandwich which comes with a side. There are free sides or upgraded sides. Mac and cheese is an upgrade. I will try potato salad next time! The sweet tea was also divine ! I've never liked sweet tea before - ever but this was incredible ! They say that's what they're famous for. I went through drive thru like I said so I can't talk about the inside establishment but my experience was stellar. If you go within the next few weeks, they are still new, they are still hiring, so if you have to wait a little longer, or there's a mistake. Be kind! Horrendous service. Placed an online order for pickup and arrived 1 hour after at the designated pick-up time. I proceeded to then have to wait an additional 45 minutes for my food, which was only 2 sandwiches. Completely ruined my Friday lunch. Never got an apology at any time from any employee. Went there on 3/30/24 to get lunch to go. It wasn't crowded. Two people were seated and eating their food. There was a party of 5-6 people seated but hadn't placed their order yet. Ahead of us was a family of 5 placing their order to go. The young man on the register was nice but he was so slow, a bit hard to understand and no pep or excitement in him. We were there about 15-20 minutes waiting for our 3 meals. The line kept growing, no manager in sight. A few people had problems with their orders. Ours was fine except for a missing pickle. There was a guy who placed an online order for pickup, went to the drive-thru and sat there. Not one person acknowledged him. He came inside to get his order and had to wait even longer because the line had grown. I understand that McAlister's has been open barely a month. There should be a manager on-site to guide the employees when it gets busy. I gave 3 stars because our food was very good. We will give it another try. Hopefully the service improves. read more

Went with our party of 7 and the wait time was about 15 minutes. I had the Italian sandwich which came toasted on a 'baguette' (more of a long roll) it was very flavorful, toasted and melty. The ham & cheese melt, French Dip, and veggie sandwich were also enjoyed. The sides are solid, potato salad, coke & tomato salad, mac n cheese. And the pickles are great haha! Sorry, but the sweet tea is just...sweet tea. It's fine. Carrot cake was some of the best I've had. They seem to have worked out the kinks, and I highly recommend. read more

Sandwich is always fresh and delicious. Their honey mustard sauce is amazing. I have tried and enjoyed many different soups - when i am not usually a soup person. The tea is pretty good too! The desserts are not too sweet. Cookies are soft. I have always ordered on the app ahead of time. read more

I gave it a shot since they're new and I guessed they were having growing pains. Nope. 1) if you're waiting for pickup, keep asking. They will not remember you're there or call names 2) check your order. We got all the way home only to find one item was missing. 3) 1/2 chicken salad sandwich had hardly any chicken salad. Disappointing after waiting so long for them to open. Out of potatoes which is half the reason I wanted to come. I had the horseradish roast beef and cheddar which was fine, it was dry and nothing special at all. The chili tasted like it came from a can. My wife got the spicy southwest turkey which was not spicy and missing the avocado that was supposed to be on it. We've been to many McAlister's locations in other states, so we knew what to expect in terms of menu and pricing. This location is new, so as other reviewers mentioned, the physical plant is clean and very appealing. Over my five or six visits to the new Warrington store, the food has been consistently good--exactly what I expect at a McAlister's. What could use some work: their IT systems! The computer that staff use to take orders and process payments is .... p a i n f u l l y ... slow. It actually holds up the line because everything takes 1.5-2x as long as it would with appropriate computing/networking resources. I hope they're able to get to the bottom of whatever that issue is...It will make a big and positive impact on the overall experience. Staff can be a mixed bag. Some are more enthusiastic than others. Not to harp on the computer systems, but the ones stuck behind the register seem to get frustrated (understandably). I would love to see a manager/leader there more consistently; it makes a difference. All in all, we're happy and appreciative to have McAlister's in the neighborhood and will continue to patronize it! read more

Absolutely unwelcoming place. None of the employees care about what they do and how they serve ( and still get paid for 0 service). No manager visible at all , nobody directing , adjusting the flow of customers, no manager visible to help out completely unconcerned and not caring employees, no manager visible to apologize to the customers for Zero service that is 20 min standing in line with only 2 customers upfront and only one register out of 3 working. This place will not servive like many corporations with corporate mentality of no service but greed . Forget to see any happy and joyful employees. The energy is so bad around , unhappiness and unfriendliness is out there for the customers paying for meals and service. Absolutely unjust to treat customers with such manners and attitudes. Will be supporting small business that are totally different in their love , care and excellent service to people. read more

My first time trying it since they opened a month ago. Went at 1:45 on a Tuesday....Tried to order The New Yorker and they didn't have any rye bread, then tried to order the Chicken Salad sandwich on a croissant, they had no croissants! I ended up using a ciabatta roll which did the trick but my husband stuck with the New Yorker on a roll which was really nothing like what it should have been! The potato salad was raved about by my friend who was there a week ago, but I found it too vinegary for my own taste. I will try this place again and hopefully they will have what we really want. Wow! That's about all we can say is wow! Delicious sandwiches and the potatoes are out of this world. They are huge, people. I had the veggie spud and it had so many veggies and fixings on it, I couldn't even eat a third of it. Such friendly staff as well. Huge disappointment... waited for this place to open for over a year, it's definitely no Deli. The portions are so small. Ordered a club sandwich which was so small especially for the price. The menu at this deli is also a disappointment, very few items to choose. Then they had options for sides which they didn't even have available. The environment in this so called deli was cold ( like Burger King). There was hardly any customers in this place and it was dinner time(5:00) , my guess and only a guess nobody wants to spend outrageous amounts of money on nothing. This deli was clean, but there wasn't anybody there to make it dirty. Maybe I expected something different, it's definitely different , I'll never go there again and have already warned family and friends. If your really not hungry, that's the place to go for small portions. The macaroni and cheese tastes exactly like Wawa mac&cheese in a container which resembles wawa . The Warrington location finally opened. It was $50 for two baked potatoes, 2 Cesar salads and 2 desserts. Our potatoes were supposed to be "loaded". There was literally ONE slice of deli roast beef on the potatoe, then just mostly onions. The Ceasars salad was only lettuce and croutons. They messed up 4 orders in the 20 mins I was there, mine included. The guys on the register were confused, distracted, and unfamiliar with the menu. Several things on the Warrington website were not available in the store, things on the wall menu were not available, and they were winging it with the desserts. If I could do zero stars I would have selected this. After ordering teh topic never came up of a wait time. I quickly learned people were waiting over an hour for food. I asked the manager about this and they said upon ordering they have no idea of a possible wait time? At no time a manager apologized of offered anything for our situation. Very excited to go tonight as we have been waiting forever for McAlisters to open. Atmosphere was nice and place was clean however we waited 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches The couple sitting across from us said they waited 35 minutes for their food and a woman who came in right after us was still waiting for her food when we left. No apology was given and to make it worse, my sandwich was missing the avocado and spinach. Not sure if we will return. Very disappointed. read more

Phenomenal deli style food. My sandwich was delicious, beat some real delis in the area by far and the pickle was one of the most flavorful pickles I have ever had. The potato is delicious and a fun new idea. Decently priced for similar food in the area, overall an amazing new lunch option, I will be back! read more
