Always consistent. Turning point is a franchise and there are multiple locations near me but this is my favorite one due to multiple reason. Being that it's newer, it's nicer, cleaner and I never have issues finding a parking lot. The servers are always friendly and there are tons of menu options. This location gives rock candy for your coffee and it's so fun to stir them in your coffee. They also offer outdoor seating and is close by to a playground. Which is nice since when there is a long wait, your kids can play at the playground. They don't take reservations but you can put yourself on a waitlist via Google which is convenient!

I'm not in this area much but since I was, I searched for a breakfast spot and decided to try this. Very happy with my experience! It was busy but we only had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. Place is very clean, nice modern atmosphere. Lots of great and unusual choices for food and drink. I got a coffee that had marshmallows and graham crackers and chocolate in it - like a S'mores. And it was delicious! Paired it with a basic egg and cheese omelette with potatoes and got a side of impossible meat sausage. I'm always happy to hear a restaurant has impossible foods or beyond meat options! Also the milk options had almond and oat. I chose oat. Waitress was friendly. Prices are not the cheapest but fair enough considering everything is more expensive these days and we got quality food and drink in a well kept location. There are far worse places that charge just as much.

We had an 11 AM reservation but ended up waiting about 30 minutes before being seated, which was a bit frustrating. The food was good overall, but nothing particularly memorable. The avocado toast lacked flavor, and while the hot chocolate was enjoyable, a large portion of the cup was filled with whipped cream, which felt like more filler than drink. That said, it's still a solid brunch spot to visit every now and then, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way for.

Excellent service, friendly staff. The brunch menu has a nice variety. Everything is fresh and tasty.

If you have never been to the Turning Point I highly advise you to come here ASAP. They have a ridiculous menu full of fun favorites like the aptly named "OMG French Toast" dishes that are separated on the menu in columns of Sweet or Savory or even a section entitled Egg-cellent Omelletes', hopefully you get what I am putting down by now, the menu is legit. I went with a seasonal special of Shrimp, Lobster, and Grits. This dish hit the mark and has some great Jalapenos on top of the gorgeous dish. Again, highly, highly recommend you come here when you are ready to have a good time to start the day! Pro-Tip : It is BYOY if you want Mimosa's, or want to spike any of your morning wake up drinks. As always people SYOY!!!

Alright, I love brunch, I love it. This spot, I cannot speak for others, but this one, is really dang good. Service was great, and the interior is as cozy as hot coffee in the morning. We ordered the avocado toast, western omelette, and power grain pancakes. I loved all of them, and so did my little one, which makes it that much better. Fresh, warm, and savory, I can eat these dishes every single day. They are not only delicious, but their portions per cost are huge! Because I am coming from Northern Jersey, this is probably the case for most spots in this area, but I was shocked when our bill came out, how affordable it all was. I was expecting something double it, and they did not cheap out on the taste. It was on par with the places I can find in my area. I really liked this place; I only wish I could've stayed longer and had multiple stomachs :)

Let's start with the good. The French press coffee was absolutely delicious. Probably the best coffee I've ever had at a restaurant, rich and flavorful and full bodied. My cinnamon roll pancakes were AMAZING. Not overly sweet. Not dense either, but very fluffy. 2 others in our party got the breakfast skillet with potato's, eggs, and bacon. They both said it was really good, but pretty salty. The inside of the restaurant was very nice and bright. Now for the (not bad) but not so great. To get a table, you have to call ahead. So I did, and they said that we'd check in when we arrived and then still have to wait. I was confused and didn't understand, then, what the call-ahead did? They said, "If you call ahead, it won't bump you to the top of the list when you get there, but it will bump you halfway up the list of current people waiting." Never heard of such an odd, fairly complicated setup! Luckily when we got there, there wasn't a wait anyway. Second, it took over an hour for our food to come. For just 4 people, that was a little ridiculous. And no one, even our waitress l, came by in the meantime to explain the delay. After we got our food though, a manager (I think) did come by to make sure the food was good and apologized that it took so long. Overall a delicious and high quality place, but who still needs to iron out their overall efficiency since they are still pretty new.

Have you ever passed by a place a million times and never saw it? I was out shopping, going to Sprouts Farmer's Market, looked to my left on the shopping plaza and saw Turning Point. I was so excited to see another breakfast place ! Me and my husband decided to go a few days later. We didn't have a wait at all. It is very nicely decorated with a cozy fireplace. Waitress was very nice. I decided on the breakfast combo, Eggs over easy with cheddar cheese, bacon, home fries and a hot chocolate. The only complaint was the home fries were barely warm and a little hard for my taste. Everything else was delicious. My husband decided on the G.O.A.T. omelet (see pictures for description), with potatoes, sausage and French pressed coffee. I was really interested to try the coffee and it was delicious. It was nice and smooth. I must get that next time! I met one of the owners (Dave) and took a nice picture of him and promised I wouldn't post it. (Promise kept). I enjoyed my breakfast, company and atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Turning Point is one of the new additions to the Promenade at Upper Dublin. This breakfast / lunch restaurant is a chain but they do everything right. From the warm décor, seasonal menus and always clean kitchen. We have been to Turning Point several times and have not been disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My family and I love this Turning Point location! It seems much larger than the one in Warrington. Our waitress was nice and accommodating. I love the Fall specials that they have! I ordered the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew which was delicious!! I also ordered the Great Pumpkin Pancakes, which were so so sooo good! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our Breakfast! The only minor thing my Uncle wishes they would add to the menu is scrapple (as a side breakfast meat option)!

We were seated and our server, Joanne gave us a quick rundown on the menu. She was very attentive and personable. Our party of four ordered the pork sandwich, the shrimp BLT, deviled eggs, the pepperoni flat bread, the meatball skillet, shrimp cocktail and French onion soup. The sandwiches were excellent and were served with perfectly cooked shoestring fries. The soup was great - plenty of cheese & bread topping delicious broth & caramelized onions. Joanne was correct when she told us the shrimp cocktail was "elevated". The grilled shrimp were marinated and perfectly seasoned. The flatbread was good, topped with a drizzle of hot honey. The deviled eggs were yummy but I would rather the bacon on top didn't have a maple flavor to it. The meatball skillet was served with toasted bread slices, hearty marinara and dollops of ricotta. The meatballs were a little dry but we enjoyed it anyway. We will definitely plan on coming back to The Fort to try new items and for another pork sandwich. Great spot!

We will definitely give it a weekend try, just in case it was an off night. Tip: I was not a fan of sitting in the half booth tables right by the hostess stand. It was extra dark and it felt more like where you sit while waiting for your actual table. Ask to be seated further in the dining room...it is really cool inside! Big parties can even get seated IN a birdcage!

As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by one of the owners. It's a husband-and-wife team, which always earns bonus points in my book. I was promptly seated, given a menu, and immediately overwhelmed--in the best way--because everything sounded amazing. I ended up asking the owner for help deciding, and I'm so glad I did. I chose the chicken and dumpling soup (they rotate specialty soups weekly) and a loaded sweet potato. The soup was incredibly flavorful--slightly saltier than my personal preference, but thankfully I tasted it before adding anything. The thyme flavor really stood out and made the dish comforting and delicious. I'd absolutely recommend it if it's available when you visit. The loaded sweet potato was topped with jerk chicken, one of my favorite seasonings. You can adjust the heat, and I went with how it comes--very hot! I loved it. Spicy, bold, and full of flavor, with the sweet potato cooked to perfection. They also offer unsweetened, fresh-brewed iced tea with free refills, which is always a huge plus for me. The café itself is small, but while I was there, there was a steady flow of people coming and going--it's clearly a popular hometown spot. Everything on the menu looked fantastic, so I'll definitely be making a return trip to try something new. They serve both breakfast and lunch, and they also offer catering, which makes this spot even more appealing whether you're stopping in for a quick meal or looking to feed a group. If you're in Jenkintown, I highly recommend stopping by Welcome Home Café. You won't regret it.

From the street it has a really cool look and the inside leans into an industrial style with a great aesthetic. It's a comfortable space with a nice vibe. We ordered a couple of cocktails: a lemon drop and a Manhattan. Strategically we decided to split a Detroit-style pizza called the Iron Pig. Good call because one square was the perfect amount for dinner. And now we have a few meals to heat up for the next few days. The drinks were excellent and the pizza was outstanding. Great flavor. Our server Ally was welcoming and friendly and top notch on service. It is the middle of winter so we weren't considering outside dining, but they have a great outdoor space near the street. They don't have server tunnel vision, they work as a team and it shows! The vibes are so cool here. I mean, if you're gonna open a cafe next to a scrap yard, you have to lean in to the theming. I love the vibes, I love the appearance. The food is amazing top to bottom. First, their coffee drinks are always spot hitting, partly due to the fact that they roast their own coffee beans on site. The cocktail menu is always enticing an even though I'm not a huge drinker, I'll be working my way around this. The breakfast options are plenty and if you don't get their bacon you are missing out! The lunch sandwiches are served on a house made ciabatta style bread. Packed with fresh meats, cheeses and veggies. Every ingredient is perfectly seasoned and added delicately, not just items slapped on a roll. The Detroit pizza is what initially drew me in. While they have some options with more toppings, I'd say go for some of the more simple Detroit pies to really allow the famous crust to really shine through. My personal favorite so far is the white pie they do with roasted portobello mushrooms. I have only been for breakfast and lunch but with all the craft beer options I need to go back for dinner to sit and relax with some friends and family!
