Horrible horrible service. They should fire whoever was on front service today. I came in for lunch today for a few bowls and was immediately met with "What do you want" said with an attitude. Very cool idea to be able to customize your own poke. It's kind of set up like a salad bar but if you feel overwhelmed bu the choices they have plenty of popular dishes on their menu to choose from. From spicy tuna two marinated tuna, regular ahi tuna, salmon, shrimp, chicken, spicy salmon, etc. there's nothing that isn't absolutely delicious. If you want gluten-free, they have it. Checked out this poke spot on a Friday evening with a gf. There was a slight line, but it was moving. I was so back & forth with the menu options. First poke bowl experience! I heard through some mutual friends that this just opened so I went to go check it out tonight. It's across from the Rite Aid Pharmacy for those using GPS. We were greeted with very colorful walls and a nice hello from a young lady at the front. Thankfully, there wasn't a line when I walked in so it gave me an opportunity to thoroughly review the menu and options that were available. You have the option to customize your own bowl or pick one on their list of signature bowls. For the customizable bowl, you choose a base, ingredients, protein, sauce and toppings. I selected brown rice, cucumber, corn, avocado (which I realized was never added) sweet onion, spicy tuna, sriracha aioli, tempura flakes, sesame seeds and crunchy onion bits. The woman at the counter asked if I wanted to add OG sauce to the base and I said sure. My boyfriend got The Duke bowl so his ingredients and proteins were selected for him. Food: The bowls were delicious and very filling. It filled me up more than 2 sushi rolls which is my usual when I go to a sushi bar. Pricing? It's a tad high. We paid $29.15 for two poke bowls and two drinks. Not saying that would deter me from coming back, though. Service: The woman who made my bowl clearly wasn't paying attention when I named the ingredients I wanted. The avocado was never added. I realized it after we had already paid. She may have been the owner or one of the owners. She gave my boyfriend a weird look when he asked for half white rice and half brown rice in his bowl. I overheard her speaking to other clients and her tone was very condescending. The employee who rung us up gave us a card with 10 punchable slots for each visit. Basically, at the 10th visit, you qualify for a free bowl. The establishment was clean and comfortable. You can also get your order to-go or place an order online. In a nutshell, food was great. LOL the service here is laughable. entire order was rushed and they just stare at you when you walk in and make you feel extremely uncomfortable bc of how unwelcoming they are. they also charged an extra $1 for literally every topping and i asked for more masago and he says "no" even though he gave me a teaspoon. didn't even give me a receipt until i asked for one and after checking they charged me an extra $4 for "spicy tuna" because it was already mixed with the sauce. Generous portion and taste pretty decent. They raised the price to 11.50 which isnt cheap. But i liked the freshness of food ingredients. Marinated tuna and spicy tuna were not flavorful. They tasted like plain tuna. But well. We get to pick sauce at the end so i guess it doesnt really affect much on the choices. I still picked two protein and picked marinated and ah hi tuna. I feel like anywhere you go, if you pick half and half , they always give little more. I picked every ingredient that were free and employees threw masago for free for us. I stopped her on Monday for the grand opening. What should have been a 20 minute drive turned into a 45+ minute tour of the city. My gps would not recognize the business address and wound up taking me to the Willow Grove area instead of Warrington. This is not the businesses fault per se but when I called to get directions (while lost) the calls went right to voicemail and appeared to be a personal cell number. It's a small restaurant in the Warrington Plaza with seating for about 16 people. It's tucked away in the back and very easy to overlook. Service was good and the staff welcoming and friendly. Food was also very good. It was my first time trying a poke bowl so I opted for one of there preset bowls...the High Tide. The portion was on the smaller side but I am a big eater. Now that I know where they are I would like to stop by again to see what else they have to offer. read more

It is with a very sad heart I am writing this.. my family and I ordered 3 poke bowls off Ubereats Sunday August 27, 2023. This was the 3rd weekend we've gotten &/or attempted to get one of our favorite indulgences and have been greatly disappointed. We got a custom bowl with sushi rice, paid extra for both spicy tuna and salmon, edamame, pineapple, cucumbers, sweet-soy, and OG sauce. We had a long very active weekend so we splurged and ordered for delivery. IT came quickly since we live less then 2 miles away. We opened them up and immediately my husband said "does your tuna taste like dirt smells". I said "no. But, it smells a little fishy and not that fresh fish smell, that fishy smell that makes you nervous." We then put the lids back on our 3 bowls that cost a total of $62 and stopped eating. Later my husband found himself stuck in the bathroom for an extended period of time and my daughter and I laid on our sofas with very uncomfortable stomach aches. I absolutely HATE writing reviews like this BUT unfortunately this is not our 1st or 2nd bad experience with Poke bros The time before we walked into the location and it smelled so bad we actually began to gag and walked out prior to getting to the counter. The time before that we had an okay experience on a Wednesday evening. The time before that we received delivery that was unedible because the fish was spoiled. "Why then did we go back?" Simple my daughter is young and fell in love with them during COVID lockdown. BUT yesterday was our last try and bad experience.. we will not be attempting to try again. We also felt very responsible to tell others that you are risking becoming Ill if you eat here. We have noticed the times we've gotten spoiled fish were on Sundays in the late afternoon. Possibly the day & time has something to do with it. The restaurant should not be selling fish that is about to spoil or has spoiled with that being said. read more

Saw this place recently open and went despite the reviews because I love a good poke bowl. Poke Bros is located in a strip mall (across the street from The Shops at Valley Square). The place is clean. I built my own poke bowl because honestly, none of their pre-made ones sounded good to me. I hesitate to call these poke bowls...more like rice bowls. The topping selections are weak and the young lady behind the counter couldn't explain how the different sauces taste and didn't allow me to sample any of them (why?!). I got white rice for my base, topped with seaweed salad (tasted way too fishy for my taste), edamame, onions, scallions, spicy tuna and tempura flakes. I went with the shoyu sauce to top it off. Everything about the bowl was meh. The fish wasn't cut with care...definitely shredded, not the typical cubed. The sauces lacked flavor. I've had poke bowls other places and they were significantly better quality for a similar price point. I get the sense this place is just trying to cash in on the poke craze and doesn't quite understand enough about true, authentic poke to pull it off. I normally send my spouse to pick up the very tasty Poke bowls. Today, I went along for the ride. The ambiance hasn't changed from other reviews posted here. I was a bit disappointed to see boxes lining the walls including opened packages of soda cans and bottles that were clearly being used to stock the small refrigerator nearby. Poke is located in the new shopping center where the old Kmart was in Feasterville. Poke concept is similar to a chipotle but seafood instead of Mexican. It's like sushi in a bowl. The restaurant itself is clean and organized. Having never been there we didn't know what we were doing and asked for recommendations. The girl wasn't the most helpful, she just said whatever you like. She was also talking on her earbuds as she was taking our orders. My biggest complaint would be the imitation crab, I hate it! However the rice was a bit tough and hard to chew. My one big gripe is with the portion size for proteins. You get 1 tiny scoop of seafood. I weighed it out and was only 2.5 oz. Therefore, I paid for a second scoop ($3) and I felt that the double portion was similar to what other poke places gave for a standard portion. Not sure if this is unique to this location, but for the price I probably wouldn't go back unless they adjusted the ratio of rice to protein ratio. In my haste to get in and out of the restaurant as quickly as possible I didn't check my bag first so I didn't notice there were no chopsticks or a napkin. My 2 star is not of the food. Food was actually really good. I forgot what I had, my wife orders everything and I just eat them lol. This was several weeks ago. When I came home with the take out, before I even opened the bowl, I told her not to order from here again. It was due to the service I received. All you have to do is smile and say hi when someone walks in, then if the customer says picking up an online order, you ask for their name or order number (I forgot if it was name or order number), then you just give it to them and say thank you, come again! Am I expecting too much? My wife always says I overreact too much to stuff like that. I actually agree, I do overreact BUT I look at service very importantly. Especially, if they greet with a smile or not. No greet, I will never go back to that place. When I walked in, no greet, of course no smile, but not even a "how can I help you?".
