I love their food and I've been eating at this location for about 5 years now. Back when we could eat indoors their staff was always so kind and they had great customer service. When the pandemic started, I decided to order online and pick up my food. I arrived early and didn't expect it to be ready yet but they had my food ready to go as soon as I got there. They're quick, efficient, they've never messed up my order, and their food is always great. I also used to work at an establishment in the same shopping center as this Panera Bread and I would get their food on my breaks. I only had a 30 minute break but they always had my food ready quickly, even when they were busy, so I was never worried about getting my food in a timely manner. They have great sandwiches and mac & cheese. I also love to order their salads from time to time. I use their app as well and it makes the online orders so simple! All in all, it's a great restaurant and I'll continue to support their business. read more

Was at Panera to meet a friend at one of the newer locations in Upland bc it was comfy and clean the last time we were there. Unfortunately, this time around the dining room was in need of table cleaning and vacuuming and when we asked if the table we wanted could be cleaned, were told the dining room ee was not in yet, what the heck, she should've said one moment while I get a clean wet cloth...... Somehow clean, food was cold. I ordered broccoli and cheese bread bowl. I didn't finish it. A young male employee was trying to keep the area clean but the rest of the stuff was not very helpful. While he was cleaning ALL the tables and sweeping the floors the rest of the staff was chatting and laughing and is the customers were listening to their conversation. Waited for over 20 mins after placing a dine in order to get our two bowls of soup! When the girl noticed us and our table beeper she came up and asked if we were waiting for something. Had to tell her our order. She came back 5 minutes later with the soups and said sorry about the wait. On top of that my girlfriend and I both order bowls of soup and mine was less than half full. Rubber bread-really? When did Panera go in the rubber making business? Salad. I counted 7 bites total. I ordered Fugi Apple Chicken Salad ( nice flavor) with only spinach and no tomatoes or onions. Ample chicken though. I think $10 and change is too expensive for 7 bites of salad, inedible rubber bread and a cup of soup. I have been eating elsewhere in Vegas but was traveling through Cali and decided to stop. Have been unhappy with Panera for several months now. We did not receive two items and avocado was left on a salad when it was supposed to be taken off. The reason no avocado was requested was because of an allergy to it. The salad was then inedible. The professionalism of this place has deteriorated. My last visit, I had curbside pickup and after waiting in my car for 10 minutes in the heat went in thinking they put it in the pick up area. Nothing so I went back out. After another 5 minutes I walked in and asked and was told they were remaking it because they thought someone took mine. No one bothered to come out and tell me so I could come in to the air conditioned building and they seemed like they could care less. Today went in to get a small order and not on the area where pick up is so I stood there. No names on the board. I went up to the counter where they place the food to be put out and it was there. I asked if that's where I am supposed to look now and they said yes. It's like every day they change it just for the heck of it. Both times I tipped. What a huge mistake. They are still open and have jobs compared to a lot of other businesses. They should be happy and not so pissed off at the world. read more

Good food, good service, free wifi and open till 10pm, fairly quiet environment so u can post up and study as long as I need to. The best thing in my opinion is you can order from your table and have it delivered to your table! Big thumbs up for that! This is not my first visit to a Panera Bread, but it's the first time I was compelled to Yelp. I think I'm just very enthusiastic about this location being on my way home from school at Chaffey College, and it's a great study hub for me with all the great food and treats I desire for study fuel! Plenty of wall outlets to keep my laptop charged ;) I've been to other random locations and the workers have acted like they wanna call the cops on me for loitering if I stay for more than 30-40min. I really enjoy Panera, and usually come to this one. Staff is great, and place is clean. I enjoy seeing Marbel, the cashier. However, this time my order was incorrect. I came back unfortunately during a very busy lunch hour because I couldn't get through the phone line. All associates were very busy so I waited until someone was available to help me. Natalie, the manager, saw me waiting for something and asked if I needed help. I explained to her the problem with my order and she immediately apologized and asked if she can personally fix it for me. Even though it was very busy, she went out of her way and made my order correctly. I highly appreciate miss. natalie going above for me regardless of how busy it was. Yes, my order was wrong, and I understand mistakes happen but seeing how the problem was solved made it much better. Thank you upland panera! read more

I was in this Panera Bread store yesterday. This is what I encountered: 1. Had to wait in line for a long time. There are two cash registers.Can't you have someone taking orders when there is a line? 2. There was food, bits of paper on the carpet. The table was not clean. 3. When I asked where there was butter, the server told me to go where it was. Not very friendly. 4. The avocado on my sandwich was old, and not tasty. 5. I did enjoy the Autumn soup, but will try to buy it elsewhere. The whole atmosphere was unacceptable, and I will try another store in the future. read more

The food is good, but there almost always seems to be a mistake made whenever I eat here. Last time my friend ordered Mac and cheese with bacon and they forgot the bacon. This time i ordered the chicken tortilla soup by delivery and they forgot the tortilla strips lol. I've worked in food service before so I completely understand that mistakes happen, but I think there should be better quality checks in place, especially for take-out and delivery orders in which going back to the restaurant for a replacement feels like a chore. I also wish they would seal the delivery bags with stickers so that you're assured the delivery driver hasn't messed with the food. read more

My family and I have been going here at this location ever since it open for business, that's until today when my wife made an order for pick up. Totally disappointed! I have eaten at numerous Panera Bread locations both in California and other states. This was my worst experience ever. I went went my mother-in-law and father-in-law for lunch last Friday. I ordered a "Pick Two" with Chicken noodle soup and a grilled cheese. While the food came out fast, the soup was primarily broth with almost no chicken and a few noodles and carrots. My grilled cheese had grill marks on top, but when I flipped it over the bottom was burnt and black. I took the grilled cheese back up to the food prep counter and showed it to the lady preparing the orders and she handed it back to a female cook explains that it was burnt. The cook's response was, "Didn't he want the cheese melted?" I have been making grilled cheese sandwiches at home for 40 years and have never had to burn the bread to melt the cheese. The second grilled cheese that came out had almost raw bread on it. I felt like the cook was trying to make a statement about my returning the burnt sandwich. Very disappointing service/product that I spent $13 on. I won't be back to this location!! read more

This place is going downhill and fast. Came in for dinner-630pm. Ordered 1/2 Sand w/soup. Was told they were out of bread and sides. Except for Apple and Gogurt. What???? Panera Bread out of bread? Then told don't have lettuce for my sandwich. Ok then. Then went to sit down and all the tables filthy and floors have food all over them. Gross. Unfortunately, this is the worst Panera I have ever been to. Upon entering, the manager who worked the cash register rushed my friend and I as we looked at the menu. Although we only stood there for about two minutes, she asked us multiple times if we had decided what to eat, which made things a little uncomfortable. I ordered the Fontina Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the Creamy Tomato Soup. It came very fast (within five minutes), which surprised me, as other reviewers discuss the long wait times. HOWEVER both the sandwich and soup were cold, and the soup seemed to have absorbed the flavors of the refrigerator that I guess it was stored in. The sandwich looked as if it had been frozen, and microwaved for a few seconds. I've been to numerous Paneras and this one needs some help. Yuck. read more
