I never thought I would goto a "Panera Bread." Not one of my favorite chains. However, my friend wanted to go, and I didn't want to argue with her. Panera has plenty of parking so that was a win. The building itself is beautiful. The color scheme, the awnings, all make for a great view. Inside is equally stunning. Clean floors, clean glass showcases, and friendly staff. You give your order to the counter, which doesn't feel personal and wait at another location for them to call your name. It's nice they have a monitor that shows your position. It makes for less stress. I got the Turkey Bravo. When I sat down to eat it, it was good. Fresh and filled with veggies. However, my concerns were, they didn't offer enough cheese and meat. Next, the sauce they put on it was delicious, but they don't put on enough. So ultimately the sandwich felt lacking, but enjoyable. I think I would go back. I mean, it wasn't a bad experience. But next time, I'm asking for extra sauce...and cheese....and turkey. I hope I don't go broke from that order, they are already pretty expensive. read more

Pretty clean and also pretty much wiped out of any pastries when we arrived at 3:00 p.m., so they go fast over the course of the day. They had some cookies left and they could always serve sandwiches and soup. Lots of tables and quite a few people actually inside sitting down and grabbing a bite even at 3:00. Parking lot is a little miserable to get out of on to Jericho turnpike because it's so close to the light. read more

Plenty of options to choose from from the menu for any meal! Easy to order at the kiosk and dine in - food prepared quickly and accurately. This location is very poorly managed. Also this store is very unreliable with the business hours that they keep. They advertise Father's Day specials so we decided to go Sunday night only to find out that the store was closed well before 8 PM (normally they are supposed to be opened until 9 PM) with no signs at all in the window and people standing outside wondering what is going on. This is not the first time that they have done this. This has happened before. It shows poor management on their part. Also the coffee spouts that the coffee comes out of looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while if at all because there was what appeared to be a crust around it. I would Definitely not recommend this store to anyone. It's back to Starbucks for me. read more

I have been eating at Panera for YEARS so I would feel a little bad giving it anything less than 5 stars. For what it is, it's a 5-star. It's quick, healthy, and the food is decent. It's not the most amazing food on the face of the planet, but it's tasty, and I get the Panera urge relatively often. You have to get the MyPanera card. It's one of those rewards clubs that's actually worth it, save room on your keyring or wallet for it and discard the countless others you have wasting space. I get all giddy when I have a free reward waiting for me. I was just informed that a free pastry awaits me. Helloooooo, tasty cookie. Or muffie. Or pumpkin pie. Or cinnamon roll. Or...maybe I'll stick with my New Year's resolutions... Anyways, good salads, good paninis, good soup and good iced tea - love the acai berry. Unsweetened, and better than (in my opinion) S-bucks iced passion tea, plus it's cheaper. Win-win. You may not know this, but they do have baked chips instead of the fried if that's what you're craving on the side. Some (normal) people don't want bread to go with their bread. It was thrown in a bag with the utensils etc with NO wrapping. Very unhygienic. There is never a manager around. Curbside delivery is equally unfriendly often with wrong orders. Many times I have to point out the order is wrong and suffer the anger of the staff. I walked in during the slow time. No one was at the register but 2 people walked past me w/out saying anything. I went to the food window & asked if I could get a large iced coffee. The worker gets someone & I walk back to the register. I have a subscription but after I put in for my large iced coffee she hands me a medium cup & says they are out of large. I go to the beverage station and fill my drink only to find that there are no medium lids! I call the manager over & she (who is talking on the phone) opens a cabinet under the drink station, hands me a sleeve of medium lids,...and walks away. I open the lids, fill the place where the medium lids go, reserve a lid for myself, wrap the sleeve back up, put it back under the counter, close the counter door, and walk out. Terrible service! I have been there a number of times and no one is even nice. They are extremely cheap - and I don't mean the prices. I ordered 2 salads and when I got home there was only one in the bag. They told me to drive back and they would give me the other one. It was 40 minutes round trip and they wanted to give me a credit for half the salad! I am not making this up. I argued for a credit for the entire meal and they told me that I could get 2 free salads the next time I came in. I went back a few weeks later and they didn't want to give it to me. Last week I ordered a few items and it was $50. I asked for an extra piece of bread and they wouldn't give it to me! I then spoke to the manager and he was very rude. And the you pick 2 deal. Although there's lots of traffic here. I always seem to be able to get some study time in. The staffs friendly and service is quick. Avocados here are blehs. Most of the time when I order the chicken avocado melt the avocado never seems to be fresh . Yuck! And I'm a big avocado lover. But I always seem to come back and order the same thing. OOPS. This location is cleaner than most of the other panera I been to. So that's a plus. I ordered a coffee in the app and received the message it was ready. Went into the store and it wasn't on the counter and my name was not on the screen. So I went to the register to ask for a cup. There was no one there, but there was a woman off to the side doing some sort of prep work and very intently ignoring me. Finally I said "Hello" and she looks up. Then I say "I need some assistance". She may not have understood me so I repeated "can someone help me". With that, she wordlessly walks away. I gave it a minute or two but no one returns. Love Panera bc it's great for kids. And it's simple and quick. You can find some nutritious food if you modify your selections. For example I usually get modern Greek with dressing on side, feta on side. This drastically reduces number of calories. My two issues. They took off buttered noodles for kids which was my daughter's fave. And they got rid of veggie soup!! I loved that soup. Now, their soups, if they don't have meat, then they are cream based. If you are going to be a soup and sandwich shop, need to have more variety of soups, especially for veggie terians. Super crowded though, always.
