Blimpie - Sandwiches Near Me - East Meadow, New York

I haven't had blimpies in years. I decided to go for it. I ordered the sandwich off the app. I saw the specialty bread which was the pretzel bread. Went for it. It ends up it's two pretzel rolls put together. Not the long hero style bread. The problem with this is it's $16. I'm paying $16 for two sandwiches. That's $8 a piece for two small sandwiches. Never again The meat in the sandwich was salty. Not a lot of flavor. The bread was soft and nice however If I'm going to pay $16, I want to get my money's worth. I will go to Jersey Mike's and get one of the 13-in sandwiches On the good side. The establishment was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the size made me feel as if I was eating school lunch. Except school lunch never cost me $16 and change read more

I travelled a distance so I could use my Blimpies gift card. The sandwich was well prepared, but the young lady had no idea how to use the gift card. I ended up leaving the sandwich and addressed the issue at another level where I learned the gift card machine at the East Meadow store stopped working sometime ago and probably won't be fixed anytime in the near future. Although the customer should not have to announce the use of a gift card prior to the order, it might be a good idea to do so. Otherwise, the people in the store were friendly and the store was very clean. read more

Brought a normal ham and cheese sandwich. They used wheat bread instead of normal italian bread. The sandwich clerk didn't follow direction. Two poorly made sandwiches were $30. Very far from the value for two sandwiches. Top top it off wheat bread which I never ordered. I will never go back to Blimpie again. This sandwich company is failing. Based on the poor quality Blimpie should close their doors. Blimpie will never regain what they once had. Another Boston Market happening again. Don't waste your money here spend your dollars for better quality somewhere else read more

This place has gone WAY downhill. I received a sandwich with one meat (out of the 5 ordered). I even paid for extra meat and instead of extra I got almost nothing . So I called the store and they were not helping so I hung up. but it gets better. The manager called me and started Bing me about how Uber Eats doesn't have the right price for extra meat so they just don't give it to you. When I told him I didn't just not get extra meat. I got almost nothing in the sandwich. He said that's not possible. read more

Clean place but the bread doesn't taste fresh. The meat and the cheese is very salty like it's the cheapest luncheon meat you can buy. Not really worth my time going back. The bread is shorter than 6" because I measured it. It looked very small that's why I measured it‍‍‍. read more

Did a mobile online order. Sandwich was made wrong. Called the store back to have the issue resolved, instead of the store resolve the issue and have the order remade the guy calls back to argue about the order. This POS should be fired and not be allowed to work with the general public acting like this especially when it comes to peoples food. read more

Visited this location today and received the most pitiful sandwich ever. Spent over $10 on this sorry excuse of a sandwich too. Was asked if I wanted extra meat. Had I known what I was getting maybe I would have said yes and got 2 slices of turkey instead of just 1. I mean look at the picture, I got a lettuce sandwich with a slice of turkey. How can a company rip people off like this. They also changed their reward program and did away with the rewards cards. It's all app based now so if you forget your phone you're screwed. The guy behind the counter said as I was leaving see ya soon. No ya won't buddy. Last time I'll ever go to this crook. read more

I didn't even know this Blimpies was there, but I saw a coupon for it in Valpak.com. So I printed it out and i was very excited at getting some Blimpies. I went there around noon-time. They never heard of Valpak and did not honor the coupon. Obviously a poorly run business that placed an ad and got someone to come in and then they knew nothing of the ad that they had placed. Also note: the place was empty at lunch time. So this Blimpies' purpose seems to be to go out of business and I suggest that everyone help them along by never going there. Its not good to eat at a place that has no idea of what they are doing. read more

Usually it's good but today it seemed like they didn't know what they where doing Nothing was set up Toasted it with the veggies in side plus one had an attitude the whole time. Don't waste your money here read more

Love this Blimpie. When I am in the area I like to come here because the owner is so polite, accommodating and keeps the place clean! He goes out of his way to ensure customer satisfaction and a great experience. His story is truly inspiring too, he started as an employee and now is a franchise owner! For a "fast food" sub chain I would say Blimpie is better than I it's competitors. The sandwiches also take a lot more fresh and less artificial than competitors also. I enjoy the zesty Parmesan bread and also the oregano they sprinkle on the sandwiches! If you would like to us support a local franchise owner I would definitely recommend you do it at Blimpe! Great experience every time! read more

We go there all of the time and never had a problem. Today we ordered two 6 inches, 6 cookies and 2 seltzer's which cost $30!! While they made us 1 roast beef they asked my brother if he'd like extra meat. When we went to pay I questioned why it was so much more than usual and I was told because roast beef went up. I can understand the price going up but NOT by $15. Had I been told that I would've declined the push for extra meet. read more

the sand-which was so good Diya Gaba should get a raise she is a excellent worker! fast girl! Well clean

Really really good place I come here often. All the workers have masks and gloves on and practice safe sanitary practices during COVID.

I usually have a great experience coming here... but today definitely had me questioning if I should even come back... I ordered a smoothie with oatmilk because I prefer my smoothies with no added sugars. The woman who made my smoothie was extremely kind and welcoming and made my smoothie just the way I wanted it (seemingly so) BUT I tasted it and it literally tasted like straight ice. So I went back inside to tell them nicely that it tasted like that and didn't even taste like there was fruit inside at all... I would know as I have previous experience in smoothie making. However, one of the men working there who seemed to be managing told me that they couldn't remake it for me.... And then walked away... even after expressing that I have made smoothies before... EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Now I'm out $8 and unsatisfied as they were not willing to simply fix the issue by remaking it... I literally forced myself to drink what I could just so I could hold my stomach over until dinner tonight.... Tasted like plain ice all the way through until I couldn't drink it anymore due to the rest of it being ALL ICE pictured in this review :/ very disappointed and hungry!! read more

Blimpie - a turkey in a roasting pan - Sandwiches Near Me - East Meadow, New York

This place is such a good place to eat at! Their food is so good! The other day, I went with my sister and my mom to Blimpie. I got a foot long sandwich, and my sister and my mom got half a foot long sandwich. I demolished my sandwich faster than my sister and my mom! It's also very safe for what's going on right now (the coronavirus) because the tables there are spread out a little bit from each other for social distancing. The service there is also very good. I would highly recommend for people to come here. I definitely know that in another week or so, I'm definitely going back! read more

This place is AWESOME.. i went in here for a 6 inch sandwich which actually measured 5 inches but hey , it's only an inch . Got charged $7 for 2 slices of turkey and a half piece of american cheese . Do yourself a favor , find a deli and pay for a real sandwich. This is a ripoff , you are getting charged for a sandwich with very little contents . i won't be back read more

Blimpie has been around forever. It's one of the only franchise hero places I love. When I noticed there was a Blimpie on my way home, I had to stop in. The parking isn't really able to accommodate a large crowd, so lucky for me I was the only customer, I found a good stop. Coming in and giving it the quick look around I noticed it was very clean. The bathroom however was not. It was a mess. I didn't want to use it so I could wait until I got back to my brothers. I went to the counter and placed my order. The guy behind the counter wasn't much for conversation. He never said anything or when I left never said have a nice night. Moving on, I love how Blimpie slices the meat there, I just wish they had more selection in meat flavors, like honey or buffalo. The guy then took for healthy slices of bacon and heated them up in the microwave. When I got my sandwich I sat down and began to eat it. It's definitely better the a subway sandwich and almost as good a deli hero. The turkey tasted similar to Butterball Turkey, but I still enjoyed it. I can say it was filling and was priced right for all the meat they give you. I will definitely be back if I need a bit before I head home. read more

Blimpie what can I say I love this particular one the best sandwich the most friendliest most clean Blimpie I have ever visited

In a world of Blimpie vs Subway, I always choose Blimpie. My favorite! I ordered a Blimpie's Best as a walk-in and was out within 5mins! The staff was super nice, making sure I had everything I wanted on it, and the sandwich (on onion bread OMG) totally hit the spot! read more

I have been coming here for about 7 years. The now owner was just a worker here and he took over and has made the place even more personable! Great deals too, they have a Groupon available and you really can't beat the price. It's very clean, and everyone here is so nice! read more

I come to this blimpie at least once a week, I absolutely love it. They make the best Italian sandwich and the bread is always soft but as of recent they hired a new worker, this new woman always makes my sandwiches sloppily and they taste disgusting whenever she makes them I can't find a way to tell the owners or other workers that I hate the way she makes sandwiches but it really has ruined my experiences here time and time again I'm sadly going to have to say good bye to this blimpie because i'm fed up it was a good run. read more

We always went here for sandwiches over the years. During the pandemic we decided to do the online order option and then go pick it up. When we got our sandwiches 2 out of the 3 sandwiches were completely wrong. I called up to tell them my order was incorrect and the owner flat out lied and said that when you order online, it doesn't show the options that you didn't want or wanted on the sandwiches. This is an outright lie because my husbands sandwich was fine. He basically said oh well can't do anything. My daughter and I had to get something else for lunch and our money was down the drain. Horrible customer service. read more

Came here in a hot day looking for something to stuff my face with and behold blimpie. Place was clean cool and inviting. Amazing experience! The young man behind the counter was so courteous and polite. He seemed like he genuinely enjoyed his job (unlike some Subways where they treat you as if you're bothering them). Blimpie has kinda faded off the map since Subway came into the picture. But I still don't think they can make a Blimpie's Best. Something about the sandwich just feels better than Subway. read more

This is an excellent location. Well run. Clean. Very friendly staff. I wish I can give them more than 5 stars. Unlike other locations -this one has staff that actually care about their product. * Great selection of different foot long breads... with a selection of toppings like poppy seeded. * This is the only location that lets you add toppings beyond the standard "Blimpie Way" of lettuce, tomatoes, onion, oil vinegar, and oregano.... you can add more veggies like olives and peppers at no extra charge. This is only true at this Blimpie location as other Blimpies charge for extras... The sandwiches are great. I've been a Blimpie fan for years. You don't see many in the New York area anymore. Since I am often out on Long Island, I'll be sure to stop at this one. Their tuna was the best I had in years and their turkey was excellent. Ample parking too... credit cards accepted.... This should be considered a model store. read more
