Unlike other locations -this one has staff that actually care about their product. * Great selection of different foot long breads... with a selection of toppings like poppy seeded. * This is the only location that lets you add toppings beyond the standard "Blimpie Way" of lettuce, tomatoes, onion, oil vinegar, and oregano.... you can add more veggies like olives and peppers at no extra charge. This is only true at this Blimpie location as other Blimpies charge for extras... The sandwiches are great. I've been a Blimpie fan for years. You don't see many in the New York area anymore. Since I am often out on Long Island, I'll be sure to stop at this one. Their tuna was the best I had in years and their turkey was excellent. Ample parking too... credit cards accepted.... I travelled a distance so I could use my Blimpies gift card. The sandwich was well prepared, but the young lady had no idea how to use the gift card. I ended up leaving the sandwich and addressed the issue at another level where I learned the gift card machine at the East Meadow store stopped working sometime ago and probably won't be fixed anytime in the near future. Although the customer should not have to announce the use of a gift card prior to the order, it might be a good idea to do so. I haven't had blimpies in years. I decided to go for it. I ordered the sandwich off the app. I saw the specialty bread which was the pretzel bread. Went for it. It ends up it's two pretzel rolls put together. Not the long hero style bread. The problem with this is it's $16. I'm paying $16 for two sandwiches. That's $8 a piece for two small sandwiches. Never again The meat in the sandwich was salty. Not a lot of flavor. The bread was soft and nice however If I'm going to pay $16, I want to get my money's worth. Brought a normal ham and cheese sandwich. They used wheat bread instead of normal italian bread. The sandwich clerk didn't follow direction. Two poorly made sandwiches were $30. Very far from the value for two sandwiches. Top top it off wheat bread which I never ordered. I will never go back to Blimpie again. This sandwich company is failing. I didn't even know this Blimpies was there, but I saw a coupon for it in Valpak.com. So I printed it out and i was very excited at getting some Blimpies. I went there around noon-time. They never heard of Valpak and did not honor the coupon. Obviously a poorly run business that placed an ad and got someone to come in and then they knew nothing of the ad that they had placed. Also note: the place was empty at lunch time. So this Blimpies' purpose seems to be to go out of business and I suggest that everyone help them along by never going there. Love this Blimpie. When I am in the area I like to come here because the owner is so polite, accommodating and keeps the place clean! He goes out of his way to ensure customer satisfaction and a great experience. His story is truly inspiring too, he started as an employee and now is a franchise owner! For a "fast food" sub chain I would say Blimpie is better than I it's competitors. The sandwiches also take a lot more fresh and less artificial than competitors also. I enjoy the zesty Parmesan bread and also the oregano they sprinkle on the sandwiches! If you would like to us support a local franchise owner I would definitely recommend you do it at Blimpe! While they made us 1 roast beef they asked my brother if he'd like extra meat. When we went to pay I questioned why it was so much more than usual and I was told because roast beef went up. Really really good place I come here often. All the workers have masks and gloves on and practice safe sanitary practices during COVID.

I usually have a great experience coming here... but today definitely had me questioning if I should even come back... I ordered a smoothie with oatmilk because I prefer my smoothies with no added sugars. The woman who made my smoothie was extremely kind and welcoming and made my smoothie just the way I wanted it (seemingly so) BUT I tasted it and it literally tasted like straight ice. So I went back inside to tell them nicely that it tasted like that and didn't even taste like there was fruit inside at all... I would know as I have previous experience in smoothie making. However, one of the men working there who seemed to be managing told me that they couldn't remake it for me.... And then walked away... even after expressing that I have made smoothies before... EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Now I'm out $8 and unsatisfied as they were not willing to simply fix the issue by remaking it... I literally forced myself to drink what I could just so I could hold my stomach over until dinner tonight.... Blimpie has been around forever. It's one of the only franchise hero places I love. When I noticed there was a Blimpie on my way home, I had to stop in. The parking isn't really able to accommodate a large crowd, so lucky for me I was the only customer, I found a good stop. Coming in and giving it the quick look around I noticed it was very clean. The bathroom however was not. It was a mess. I didn't want to use it so I could wait until I got back to my brothers. I went to the counter and placed my order. The guy behind the counter wasn't much for conversation. He never said anything or when I left never said have a nice night. Moving on, I love how Blimpie slices the meat there, I just wish they had more selection in meat flavors, like honey or buffalo. The guy then took for healthy slices of bacon and heated them up in the microwave. When I got my sandwich I sat down and began to eat it. It's definitely better the a subway sandwich and almost as good a deli hero. The turkey tasted similar to Butterball Turkey, but I still enjoyed it. We always went here for sandwiches over the years. During the pandemic we decided to do the online order option and then go pick it up. When we got our sandwiches 2 out of the 3 sandwiches were completely wrong. I called up to tell them my order was incorrect and the owner flat out lied and said that when you order online, it doesn't show the options that you didn't want or wanted on the sandwiches.
