"House breakfast sandwich"

By far best breakfast sandwich on Long Island, I been ordering them off door dash they go under the alias "Breakfast beauties" with some Ai generated images of egg sandwiches. I searched up the address and found out this is where it's coming from. This places has by far the best breakfast sandwiches on the island. All the Karen's leaving bad reviews can cry their way to McDonald's for an egg Mc muffin. More breakfast beauties for me!

A true East Meadow Establishment w/ Exceptional Food. I'm not sure you will find a better breakfast around. Andy is a "Deli G-d" ;-) I'm not entirely sure - But, it appears that the location may have changed ownership. I cannot confirm this; But - Its my hope that the great tradition and amazing service is carried on. Customers are treated with the highest level of respect and given personal attention. Often times - they know your order already when you walk in :-)

It, goes to show any local business, that good service matters. My friend wanted me to try a local spot he frequents a lot. He told me they renovated the place and it looks great. He has been nailing great eateries, so I know it's okay to trust him. I told him, you can tell a-lot about a business by how they make breakfast. He told me "Figarelly's Deli" is five star. We went in the morning and there is no parking lot. It's street parking, but I found a spot right in front. Looking at the exterior, you can tell it was improved on. The marquee sign looked great. Inside was more of the same. The place was clean and organized. There were a few employees working, but the gentleman at the counter (I wish I got his name), was the real draw. This guy was pleasant and funny. He joked with us the entire time. He kept us interested while our food cooked. He even joked there was fee if we dined in. This guy made us completely feel like we were wanted. When the food came out, I noticed right away I was in for a treat. My tray felt heavy, like real heavy. Upon inspection, I was right, they give a generous portions. But that means nothing if it doesn't taste good, right? Well let me be the first to say, there is no concern about breakfast here! I'm sure lunch and diner items are more of the same. This place was definitely worth every star and more in the future. I will definitely be coming again. Like I said, the gentleman running the show is excellent. How often is it you go out anymore and get dinner and a show?

Sausage egg and cheese... salt pepper ketchup. Solid sandwich... one of the best in the area

Solid choice for egg sandwiches. My go to is always a sausage egg and cheese. Also, everyone must try their Oreo muffins at least once. You won't regret it

Perfect if you want a partly frozen muffin in the morning. What a shame, something so simple to avoid.

The staff and food are great. This is a East Meadow landmark and is looking great with the recent remodel.

This has been my go to place for heros since I moved to Merrick over a decade ago. My favorite…read morecold sandwich is the All American with the works. It's a great combination of cold cuts that just synchronizes so well with the American cheese and oil, vinegar, spice concoction of the works. As for the hot sandwiches the eggplant parm has been my favorite. The eggplant is smooth and binds with the red sauce perfectly. Today they released a new contender for the best hot sandwich with a catchy name: The Rolling Roaster. It had roast beef soaked in Au jus enhanced with extra beef tallow blanketed with a layer of homemade cheese. The result was the juiciest roast beef with a deep beef flavor. The soft bread interior did a good job catching all of the excess juices as it was not as messy as I anticipated. Hope this stays on the regular menu as I will be adding it to my order rotation. My Hero is old school only accepting cash or checks. Along with that comes the great service and charm that makes this place what it is. In recent years they have made an improvement in the parking situation. Now you can park in the carvel lot next door.

The sandwich was the same size as always and was decently filled, though there seemed to me more ham and less roast beef or turkey than normal. The most glaring part was the taste overall - the cold cuts and cheese didn't quite taste the same, but most glaringly, the mayo did not taste like Admiration Heavy Mayo, which has always kind of what made their sandwiches really pop. Hopefully, it was just an off day, but the last time I was there, the chicken club also had some issues.

Locals were strolling in for sandwiches and salads. Highly recommend going with the delicious Portuguese styled bread either on the side or sandwiches. Below are some of the Smartwich team which includes also includes a nephew and and uncle / founder.. This is a family business with the founder is a brother of one of the top local Italian bakeries in Nassau. The bakery also provided the start up space originally in Hicksville during the incubator phase. It makes perfect sense when you have a delicious warm crispy Portuguese roll for the sandwiches. This talented brother had many years in the food industry in Portugal and is a fan of their crispy styled bread/rolls. They are now made right here. Sandwiches are nicely made, fresh, flavorful and a step above the generic sandwich places. Elevated flavors and dressed with a nice vinaigrette. Lots of choices. We started with the popular and will venture out to the more creative. Sardines and octopus looked good but can wait until another day.

The inside is very millennial style with the grey and black ambiance. It's pretty open spatially and there's a menu on the wall. They make their own brewed iced tea. Their sandwiches are pretty clear in description. I dislike that the chicken sandwich pastrami sauce has pork in it, so anyone who avoids pig products like the plague needs to inform them when making the order. The sandwich itself was pretty good. The bread didn't cause my lips to flare up like other yeasts do. They didn't go heavy on the balsamic vinaigrette. The workers came out to greet me and give me a tour even though it's pretty self explanatory. After the drinks refrigerator and sandwiches menu, there are three additional menus for sides, fruit/veggie smoothies and protein smoothies. I ordered a chocolate protein smoothie and the cups they have are larger than the portions they serve. They apologized like it was an inconvenience to me, but actually I was happy that I didn't have to worry about any overflow or spillage. I think it's great that it's a tad bigger. I also bought a pan de nata to try. They forgot to add the cinnamon, but it didn't need it. It was done to perfection. Bakers of All Nations in Mineola now has some good competition. On the walls surrounding the smoothie bar and dining area there's a mural that explains the type of cuisine you're getting and about the chef's travels. It's kind of neat. Happy eats!
