The sauce reminds me of the sauce that a neighbor's mom (she's Italian and a great cook!) used to use in her lasagna when I was growing up. I'm dying to try theirs to see if it's as good as hers! Unfortunately, I never know when they have it on the menu for takeout. What I don't like about them is that the only menu they have is the catering one. Each time I go, I never know how much I'm spending or what they have on their menu for take out orders (when is there lasagna?). I've also heard their eggplant parm and chicken parm heros are good. I'll try them the next time I'm in the mood for a parm hero. As it is, I only go there when I'm in the mood for a meatball hero. If there was a takeout menu, I'd probably go more often. They're a mom and pop (or poss. nonna i nonno) place and have imported foods there for sale, and really good fresh mozz. This deli has a clean well varied store. Has lottery as well as a few commodities and newspapers. The counter staff is always very polite and never rude and I always see them working hard and cleaning when I pass by the place as I work in the area. I see that they offer free delivery with a $10 purchase from we very good for many of the offices in the area I have been to this establishment about 20 times or so and have never had any problems and always found the food to be good and fresh. Recently, the Powerball went over a billion dollars I was able to walk right up to the counter several times and purchase my tickets with no line. During the week I have found they close their establishment by 5:15 or so ,and on Saturday open 7 to 4. I always generally patronize the deli in the afternoon and the rolls and bread always fresh even later in the day.
