Our first time back in quite a while and was thrilled to hear that they reopened. We came on a weekday so there was street parking available and not too busy. It is a cozy space with table seating. Service was friendly and attentive. They served us a mini blueberry muffin to start which was yum. We ordered the Avocado Smoked Salmon Tartine, Dubai Chocolate Stuffed French Toast and the Crispy Bites. The portions were decent but the Crispy Bites dish was generous! The Morning Rose Cafe in Bellmore is an awesome spot. Its a bit small, but thats part of the charm. The staff is top notch, always friendly and attentive. The food is always good, and they often have some great specials. Their coffee is on point too. The kids menu is pretty sweet for the little ones. I've been here many times and will definately keep this place as one of my favorite local spots. This place is super family friendly, always welcoming to kids and adults alike. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food what more could you ask for? Favorites of mine are the chicken and waffles and all the eggs Benedict choices they're all amazing. The place was busy which I understand being overwhelmed, but being a server before I never left a table unattended and never check back in with them. Our server asked if we needed a few minutes and left us alone without putting our food in for over 30 minutes. Finally when she did take our order we must have waited another 40 minutes for our food at least. When I got my order there was a black hair on it (not sure if you could see it on the photo) but it disgusted me so I didn't eat it. She finally came back to see if we needed boxes and I told her about it. She said she was gonna take it off the bill and then never saw her again. What a cute breakfast spot! I'm so glad they reopened after they briefly closed end of 2025. I'd love to see an extended beverage menu (a few more coffee flavors for example) but they offer the basics for beverages. I had an oatmilk cappuccino and it was good. I LOVED their Dubai chocolate stuffed French toast! Wow! I hope it stays on the menu for a while. The burrata avocado toast was ok, I have to be honest and say the actual burrata didn't blow me away. This is really a 2.5 star place but I'll round up. Where to start... I think the fact that this place has such a strong following is more telling about the clientele than the restaurant itself. There are things on this menu that are so unwholesome and carby that RFK may need to look into it. Starting with the churros. The preparers also drench everything in sauces. Smoked salmon toast was just covered in that hollandaise or whatever it was. Just ruined it. And the frittata -- I liked the yogurt and dill, but they put way more than anyone should -- like the lid fell off when they were pouring it. The real sign of a good place is that when you leave you feel good. I just felt bloated, heavy, and lethargic. But I don't think it's their fault either because the people who patron the place seem like regulars and like this stuff. You may be one of them. I can say that my kids are used to all wholesome and organic foods, we eat out a ton, and they could hardly eat here. No wonder we have so much obesity and diabetes. That said, my buddy insisted we go there and he's a real foodie. He loves it. He's also got diabetes and is obese. Fresh squeezed OJ was good. Too bad no fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. read more

My friend and I were in the middle ground to meet for breakfast. We found the Morning Rose Café to be the perfect spot to meet. Bedford Avenue in Bellmore area is a pleasant neighborhood place for small restaurants and mom & pop shops. It is just a short walk to the from the train station. When I arrived at the Morning Rose Cafe from its red-bricked sidewalk, it resembled a home on a corner of the village. Once we entered the long hallway to the reception desk, the indoor dining was small and crowded. The indoor dining room was unassuming and a bit loud. We chose to dine outdoors along the sidewalk. The service was attentive and pleasant. Their menu options had many of your traditional breakfast items along with chicken on a waffle. I chose their avocado bread with eggs that included bacon, and my friend had Montecristo. Both breakfast items were good. I ordered tea, and they charged me an extra one dollar for honey. That was the first time I have ever seen that, but I guess honey cost can add up. I also thought the restaurant was pricey, but then again, our dining experience was good. read more

Decided to venture a little further for brunch with my family this past weekend and ended up at Morning Rose Cafe. We were seated right away, despite it being Sunday. We ordered 3 Morning Rose breakfast platters, along with an iced cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange juice for the kiddos, and a hot cappuccino. The drinks were great, and eggs were cooked how we've asked for them to be cooked. However, they were quite bland. Sad for me to write this review as we've been coming here for years and have recommended it to others, but if I could leave a zero for this review that would be the rating. I'll try to make this short. To the owner, when you realize that our order was not put in and we've been sitting for 50 minutes you shouldn't blame the waiter. Take accountability for your business and fix it. That could've been done by ensuring our ticket was next up. That didn't happen. We sat right by the kitchen so I had the pleasure of watching table after table get served and nothing for us. You pass by and I ask you to at least bring out the food for our girls, pancakes and eggs, fairly quick and easy. 25 minutes go by, no food for the girls and you ghosted us. We get up to leave and your staff is way more apologetic than you as you were too busy having a conversation. Upsetting because we really loved this place, but we will not be back. read more

Visiting this area was the best idea my best friend has had! I am counting down the days to return. I came here on the LIRR from Manhattan. Breakfast food is my favorite and the fact that this menu had a little bit of everything definitely guaranteed my future return. If you're in the area COME IN. It's the best. I promise. This diner has the cutest aesthetic. Clean, bright and well decorated. The staff was super friendly, patient and quick. I truly felt like I was in their house because of the set up. Such a beautiful, relaxing and positive environment. The food itself was SPECTACULAR. I could taste the quality and new it wasn't microwaved. The food was delicious and the service delightful. I did think it was rather stingy on the part of the new ownership to only provide one miniature muffin per person in the gratis basket. When I asked for more, I was told that was not possible. I was disappointed because the muffins were really delicious. As for the ambience, I felt there were too many tables too close together in a small space which made things both crowded and noisy. We were beyond impressed with this place! It was our first time coming and will not be out last. We wanted to dine somewhere outside so we can bring our pup with us. We called before coming in to confirm they allowed dogs in the outside seating area, which they said yes. When we were seated, they brought our pup some water! When entering the staff was welcoming, the space is nice and comfortable. After being seated we were given warm (maybe it was apple) muffins with some berry compote. The waitress came over and took our orders. I had the peach Bellini that came with the a nice thick slice of peach, the syrup was stuck at the bottom so I just used my utensils to stir it. My husband ordea green tea, they charge $1 for honey and do not include Lemons. I had to ask for slices of lemon. I ordered the churro French Toast bites. It was delicious and enough to feed 4 people. I also had chicken and waffles, I never ate my waffles but the chicken was delicious. My husband had the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich that was on a waffle with a side of hash browns. The sandwich was big with a lots of eggs. Such a cute little gem in Long Island! Came with friends pretty early on the weekend (~930am) and expected it to be pretty empty. It was packed and we luckily only had a 10min wait. Others who arrived 5min later were already seeing 30-60min waits, so do check in on the online waitlist ahead of time! Service is good, food is good but it is quite pricey (Manhattan pricing despite being more suburbia). As a group we got every type of eggs benedict along with a side of corn beef hash and some french toast bites. I thought the Fried Chicken Waffles benedict was the best, followed by the smoked salmon. Salmon flavor was very strong. Fried chicken I wish were a biiiiit crispier but still very good! Chorizo was apparently pretty dry so I wouldn't get that. Corned beef hash was awesome - made from real beef it seems vs. most other places where it tastes a bit canned / artificial. French toast bites were a huge hit and great for sharing amongst everyone! Coffee is bottomless for $4 - my friend said hers tasted a bit burnt and had to drown it in half and half. Yelped for breakfast near where we were going to take the whale watching tour and this place popped up #1 so here we are! They have an online wait list and if you can time it right I highly recommend it. It was a 30 min wait when we got there but on the wait list it was only 10. Entrance and hostess is on the side street. Started with some complimentary chocolate muffins with a raspberry sauce/jelly. Delicious! I ordered the chorizo sausage omelette. So many great flavors and good portions. A little spicy with the jalapeños but really great flavors. Deb had the breakfast gnocchi bowl. Interesting and very tasty. I had been here a while back but never wrote a review. I was in the mood to stop by again. Apparently, they started a wait list to make it a little easier to get tables here. I forgot, but when I got there I put my name down and honestly wasn't waiting very long for a table. Since the last time there, they expanded the space and now there's a few more tables inside and there is outdoor seating as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The wrap special of a chicken cutlet, cheddar, bacon, lettuce, cherry pepper ranch sounded up my alley. I also ordered a side of the cajun fries because they are amazing-although next time ask them to go a little easy on the seasoning. They brought mini double chocolate chip muffins with berry jam and they were soooo delicious. The jam had fresh raspberries and blueberries in it. I ordered a diet coke and relaxed while my food was prepared. The wrap comes out and its ginormous, with cole slaw and pickles on the side. I also asked for some extra ranch on the side. Everything is so delicious and honestly I could have shared it, the portions were that generous. The wrap was so good, the chicken was cooked perfectly and not overly seasoned. I loved the slaw, it had a lot of flavor. The fries were hot and crisp and very enjoyable. I want to go back to try the turkey rueben and the chicken salad.
