I was a little turned off by the up charge for another dipping sauce. The calamari was pretty good but it is a small portion. For our main dishes, we got a burger and fish and chips. The only issue I had was that the burger was undercooked. it was ordered medium and it was extremely pink. The food is OK. I guess you're really going there for the atmosphere.

When we got the bill we were charged $7 more and when we questioned the waiter, he said that was an adult portion. When my wife said that he did not tell us that it would be a higher price(and this item is not on the adult side of the menu) he said to her well "I thought it was understood that it would be more $". We said to him why would we think that since we asked if she could order off the child's menu and you said she could and never mentioned an up-charge to make it an adult portion. He apologized but did not take anything off the bill. We ended giving him a smaller tip because of that. Parking is very difficult and we ended up having to park on lido blvd after driving around for about 20 minutes. The walk to the restaurant was about 7 minutes. What really sent me over the top was how our check was handled. I placed my debit card inside the check folder. Alyson came over with the machine, processed the payment, and walked away. She never handed my card back to me. When I noticed it was missing, I told her, "My card is in the book. I didn't get it back." She opened the folder and said it wasn't there, then pointed to a spot on the table and said, "It's right here." I asked, "How did it get there?" and she replied, "I put it there." I was stunned. Why would you place a customer's debit card somewhere on the table without handing it directly back to them or even telling them where you put it? Had I not noticed my card was missing and asked, I would not have known she had left it there. Throughout the entire experience, there was no "thank you," no "have a good night," no acknowledgment of my husband's birthday, and no sense of basic hospitality. Her demeanor made us feel as though serving our table was an inconvenience. We did notify management, and I want to give them the recognition they deserve. They were nothing short of amazing, as they always have been. They listened to our concerns, were professional, and handled the situation with genuine care.
