The worse place to dine. Food is awful, especially for the price. Panera used to be good and healthy ish option. The toasted baguettes sandwiches are a long dry chuck of bread with no substance. We felt we paid 12 bucks a piece for dried out bread while it took 40 minutes after we ordered in store to get this nasty food. What a sad pathetic joke for food. Honestly, anyone could do better. Regardless of the Covid restrictions doesn't give an excuse for rudeness. I took my mother (who is in her mid 90's) there for lunch. She cannot wear a mask because of breathing issues yet she wears a mask over her mouth so that she doesn't feel humiliated by anyone because she can't comply with Covid rules. She was told she could not be in there unless she had the mask over her nose. I tried to explain that she has breathing issues and cannot have something over her nose. I was treated rudely by this employee who was at least 6 feet away, behind a plastic barrier, and wearing a mask which made it nearly impossible to understand anything she said. I will not go back to Panera when they cannot have compassion for the elderly. My mom was very upset by this whole experience. read more

I ordered a poppyseed strawberry salad but was informed they were out of strawberries. They expected me to order it anyway but still pay full price. I ordered the Asian salad which was lettuce, 3 slices of chicken and some crunchy things. Was charged $9 for this. I've ordered items that are left out of my order and I am never compensated for them. We were looking for takeout dinner for 4 adults and 2 8-year olds. Panera has great food if you dine inside, but not if you're looking for takeout. We ordered the "family feast". Panera says it's enough food for 4-6 people. The tiny sandwiches were tasty, the baguette was nice, and had there been a nice big salad, it would have been ok, but the salad was barely enough for two adults. So no, feast is not the right description. As for the kids two half cheese sandwiches and two little cups of fruit aren't worth $31.00. The fruit was very good, but really? I really like the food (albeit a bit higher in price than equivalent places), but I have to knock down a couple of stars for orders being filled inaccurately on a consistent basis. Example: Ordering a sandwich through the kiosk and specifying a different bread choice. Out of 5 visits, it has only been correct ONCE. This means waiting for your food once, sending it back to be corrected, and waiting all over again. This especially sucks if you're dining with someone and you either a) watch them eat their entire meal while you wait, or b) they wait awkwardly while you wait for your food. Waiting 20+ minutes for a cold sandwich in an unbusy restaurant is not good service. I'm about 2 minutes from calling it a loss and walking out. Update: 10/3/18, 7:30pm Tonight's experience was worse than previous experiences. Sandwich was delivered on incorrect bread (which happens about 90% of the time now), and took about ten minutes to come back with correct bread. My dinner companion was almost halfway done eating by the time it came back, at which time we mentioned to our server that we did not receive the pastries we ordered. He asked what we ordered and left; we never saw him again. In the meantime, I noticed that I received the incorrect side with my sandwich, and issue I decided to let drop. We only received our pastries after waiting in line at the counter before we left. Knocking this rating down from 3 stars to two. read more

We've been here a few times, food is always good. Staff is friendly, but they always forget your pastry item when you dine in. A few times they came to tell us they don't have the item. It's basically like Starbucks, but food. Same hipster wannabes sitting around talking about their new iPhone, eating a salad bragging about how thin they are and how their friend is a horrible person because they don't use cruelty free napkins. One problem, they built this right smack dab in meth central. So these tween hipsters sit the whole a crack head is outside staring at the window having an argument with his reflection. I used to be a huge Panera Bread fan however after visiting this location multiple times I don't think I'll ever go back. They can't seem to find the right cell dressings for the right salads. They are always and I mean always out of stuff. One of the most annoying situations that seems to plague this location is they can't keep their baguettes in stock. And we're not talking about running out at the very end of the evening were talking about going in it 2:03 in the afternoon and they don't have them multiple multiple times. This time I did curbside pick up & waited in my car for 20 minutes after the "ready" time the e-mail stated. Even though Panera is a chain and I'd rather generally eat local I am happy that this one opened on Division. I stopped in on Sunday and it was packed! (Everyone must have been influenced by the NCAA tournment commercials- GO ZAGS). Panera features breads, soups, salads, etc. If you need a lunch to-go they have a drive through. I enjoy their cinnamon bagels and flavored cream cheeses as well as their hot sandwiches. Kid friendly options here include a very rich mac and cheese. Panera on the Northside at last!! It recently opened and is located just in front of Lowes. Beautiful building inside and out. Clean eats is their motto & they do a terrific job at that! My daughter and I stopped by this morning to check it out and feast on their breakfast goodies. I felt like a kid in a candy store, danishes, yummy chocolate muffins and the list goes on. I decided to go the healthy route and ordered the egg white, avocado and spinach breakfast sandwich. My daughter chose an orange scone, which was huge and she was all smiles, so I suspect it was good. The breakfast sandwich was tasty as well, and definitely worth the $4. The Spokane restaurant looks more shabby and worn, our table top was dirty, the bathrooms are now locked and the keypad provided did not work, the clerk was barely understandable, food is no longer brought to the customers table, and the soup was not hot. I understand Covid has affected staffing but the manager needs to step up his or her game. read more

After a hard day of work, I went and was served by Ally, and even though she had no idea I was having a hard day, her kindness absolutely made my day. We were a party of 3 that visited Panera on Division the afternoon of November 17, 2018. We were waiting in line before ordering and witnessed the cashier reach into the case to get the customer in front of us an item. While she was reaching to the front of the case her long braided hair came into contact and dusted the entirety of 2 pans of cinnamon rolls. After we ordered, not from the case, I kindly sought out a manager to let them know what we witnessed. The young blonde man couldn't have been much older than 18-20 years old, presented himself as a manager who could help. He said he would take care of it. We were there for an entire hour and never once witnessed the cinnamon rolls being pulled from the case. They remained displayed available for sale. Will not return to Panera! read more

This is a high-end sandwich shop with a trendy decor (even a cute little fire place stuck up in the middle of a wall) and up-scale ordering available. When you walk in there are a number of kiosks from which you can order or you can go tot the counter and order. The sandwiches were tasty but fairly expensive. Really bummed this location has gone down hill. If they have the item and they aren't sold out which is typically the case-it's poorly made and thrown together. I've got curbside a couple times and paid extra for add ons only to get home and see they totally disregarded my request. The food has just become sloppy. We went there because they claim to be a soup and sandwich shop. I say claim because they only had three soups and online they claimed to have vegetarian soup. They did not. I am a vegan though I will eat vegetarian if my meat-eating husband really wants to go there. We were both severely disappointed. They had vegetarian sandwiches but I cannot eat them. The Panera's in Spokane are terrible. Service it bad and slow. Coffee is always out, or has grounds in it. The internet is unrealizable. This was the worst food experience I've had in a long time, so bad that I had to go out of my way to create a Yelp review. Where do I start... first off, the flatbread pizza had no sauce at all and it was extremely dry and stale and had like no cheese on it. The baguettes were also stale. I ordered a small Mac and cheese (for $5.79) and got the container halfway full so it was about 3 bites. I also got two hot chocolates that tasted like literal water that I had to return for new ones and not to forget they were out of almost every bagel. The only thing was was just decent was the broccoli cheddar soup. My entire order came out to $35 and this was the biggest disappointment and dissatisfaction I've ever experienced at any food place I've eaten at for the price I paid.
