Another epic sandwich. I've already reviewed the old location but my first visit to the new location. Probably one of my top sandwiches of all times....yep....worldwide. Roast beef with provolone is my jam, but you cannot go wrong. Service was incredibly prompt and friendly. This is a true gem for Spokane. Don't hesitate, this is a no frill, best bang for the buck kind of an experience. read more

To the heavyset lady to took our order: you're rude. Leave your baggage at the door before you walk into work. Why make the rudest person in your restaurant as a waitress/first point of contact for customers to see? As we were trying to order, she was not friendly and short when we would ask questions. She seemed irritated that we were even there trying to order food. The sandwich didn't come with anything but meat, cheese, and a couple condiments. i could've gone to a market and made these sandwiches myself for less money and it would've tasted better. My husband's ham and cheese with mayo and mustard seemed to be ok but it was still plain. My turkey sandwich was dry and the bread didn't taste like sourdough at all. $12 for my sandwich and $14 for my husband's. Will never come back and will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Great sandwiches! Hot popcorn brought to you as soon as you sit down. We each ordered the small turkey sandwich which turned out to be gigantic! We should have split one. Very nice staff. Definitely worth a stop. Only open 10-2. read more

Really good sandwiches in a friendly atmosphere like a neighborhood diner. Sandwiches don't come with any sides.

Subject: Disappointed by Today's Experience I've been a longtime fan of Dominis and was genuinely excited to visit the shop today, especially after hearing that although it was sold, the menu was still available under new ownership. I walked in feeling hopeful. There were three employees present: a teenage boy making sandwiches, an older woman stocking the fridge, and a young woman standing near the counter. Not one of them greeted me when I entered, and I stood waiting patiently. Another customer confirmed he'd already ordered, and a few minutes later, someone else walked in. The young woman at the counter approached him to take his order. To his credit, he pointed at me and told her that I had been there before him. Despite this, she said I walked in after him, and he again said I was there first. When I POLITELY confirmed I had been there first, she responded with rudeness. Frustrated but still calm, I said, "Never mind, that's okay," and began to leave--until I heard her speak to my back, "Geez, I don't need an attitude from you." The man who had tried to help me was visibly shocked. That comment was not only uncalled for but also unprofessional. I stopped in my tracks and stated, "I showed no attitude; however, yours has ensured I won't be back." Dominis was known for its phenomenal customer service and genuine care for their customers and community. I am genuinely saddened by how this young woman chose to treat a customer. I hope this feedback helps the new owner improve the customer experience, so it reflects the warmth and professionalism that once made Dominis so special. read more

If you happen to be downtown during the week, don't hesitate to try Domini's. Quality sandwiches that are loaded high with meat. I love the pepperoni and the roast beef. The bag of popcorn is almost my favorite part of the meal! I hope they plan to stay open for many years to come. read more

Just like the ORIGINAL ! Great selection and huge sandwiches with popcorn....as always. The new owners should be PROUD. Parking is generally best on the street at meters. Loved it small restaurant but good sit down availability. read more

Jam packed protein sandwiches... My favorite is the Turkey, Pepper jack cheese, on French bread with their wonderful sweet hot mustard (honey mustard)... Sometimes I add a big deli pickle or peanut butter cookie! And as always popcorn comes with every sandwich! Love the broccoli cheddar soup during soup season! read more

So disappointed. They changed the bread!! Not sure if I'll go back. They bought a winning business model, why change it??

Sadly it has changed and the quality is not what it used to be. In addition the woman who was filling popcorn bags at the front counter was so rude and grumpy that we almost left. Not only did she act like she was doing us a favor but she actually seemed angry that we were there! The food was pretty good but not what it used to be. We probably won't go back which is sad because we have been going there for so many years. read more

We went here after a meeting as may car was nearby. I had forgotten how great this place is! The popcorn is a nice touch. Their sandwiches are still a good deal. I tried the tuna for the first time and it was excellent. The best part? Service with a smile. When we left, my buddy had half his sandwich left and the guy even asked if he wanted more popcorn with it. This is the friendliest place I've been in awhile and the food came out fast (I've never dined in before until now!) if you like veggies, don't bother. This place is a classic. read more

The sandwiches are great with excellent service and the ambience is exciting. I highly recommend the pastrami with rye bread and also the corn beef with rye bread. Just one of the best sandwich shops in Spokane, Washington. read more

I got a small sandwich with sourdough bread, pepper jack cheese and roast beef, along with mayo and a little bit of horseradish. Popcorn comes included. At first I was a little shocked by being told they don't do much toppings just bread, cheese and your choice of meat. But I was pleasantly surprised, it was a really simple sandwich but it tasted fantastic, something about the simplicity of the bread and meat just made everything tasted great! read more

Love Domini's and have been a fan forever. Glad it has been handed over to the new owner and is continuing on. Slightly tip...I went there yesterday and the bread was very dry. If I hadn't gone there before, I probably wouldn't go back. read more

The 2023 "Bets Of" Inlander rated Domini's number one for sandwiches. So, I decided to seek them out. It is a smallish space that mainly caters to a take-out trade. I ordered two roast beef sandwiches with pickles and chips. Each sandwich chips and pickle was wedged into a paper bag half-full of fresh popcorn. The sandwiches were packed with meat and a generous amount of horseradish. When I got home, we dove into those babies like we were starving! This kind of delicious precludes any conversation, except for a belch or two! I was very glad I came!! read more

This hidden restaurant was recommended to my by a local. It's been around for about 60 years. I walked in and they told me that I could sit anywhere. The server was friendly explained to me how ordering worked. There are three different size sandwiches (Tiny, Small and Full). I ordered the small and it was more than I could eat. You pick your bread, meat, cheese and condiments. There are no vegetables (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.) available which is fine by me since I don't put them on my sandwiches. I ordered a pastrami with swiss on sourdough. The sandwich came out fast. It was large with a bunch of meat and had good flavor. The only thing that would make it better if it was heated on a grill but they don't do that. I added the sweet and spicy mustard to it which the brought on the side. I would definitely return next time I am in Spokane. read more

The best classic deli sandwich in Spokane. I always get the pastrami on French with a pickle. And it's AWESOME every time. The girls that work the cash register are always kinda friendly. Can't say a bad thing about this place. read more

Domini Sandwiches has the best food and the people are so nice! Tom makes the best sandwiches in town!

High quality sandwich, the large is so big I typically can't return to work after eating. It's simple, but high quality and delicious

I hadn't been to Domini's in years. So I figured I would bring my wife to a traditional Spokane lunch joint. The only positive was. The sandwich was decent sized (but for over 15 for a dry sandwich I would hope so). Rather than that...The service was terribly slow for the 3 people in the restaurant, servers were incredibly rude, it looks like the place hasn't been cleaned since I was there almost 10 years ago, sandwich bread was dry, meat and cheese warm and rubbery. This nostalgic Spokane spot, either needs to step its game up of hang it up because it has not aged well.... read more

A Spokane Classic!!! The roast beef is made in house and the sourdough is pillowie soft!!! I get the big one so I can eat half there and half later. Great shop downtown. Family owned massive sandwiches. Sauces are delicious. Worth eating there.

Maybe back in the day or because there are office workers nearby who need a quick lunch or some old timers are too loyal to go anywhere else -but, for me, once is enough. Just meat, cheese, and bread. No lettuce, no tomato, nothing - except for a buck or so more you can get a pickle. Sourdough bread crust was stale. Service was poor in terms of being shy of unpleasant. read more

Best sandwich in Spokane, maybe anywhere. Total institution. Limited hours, Monday-Friday.

Been coming here for decades and I will continue to visit whenever I come back to Spokane. Perfect place to bring visitors. They're straight up meat, cheese and bread! Don't get all frilly and ask for tomatoes or lettuce because that's not part of the deal. You're going to eat some delicious fresh baked bread with freshly sliced meat and cheeses. You're gonna be impressed by the size so I recommend you get a small sandwich if you're an adult. If you're ambitious you can get the large. Dominis is just the best and I appreciate they continue to offer free popcorn and RC Cola!! read more

Full disclosure, I had no idea what we were getting into. But let me just say, I'm not disappointed lol. First the popcorn. Like who doesn't love popcorn by the bowl full?! The. The sandwiches. It's a bread. A very healthy serving of your choice of meat. A condiment. And a cheese. I went with a corned beef on rye with provolone and horseradish. I got the full sandwich. I was full after half and let going! I wish I lived closer- that would be my go to place! read more

My husband likes their massive sandwiches. It's bread, neat, cheese, mustard and mayo. All the sandwiches are like that. For me, I'm not a fan. I feel like it makes the sandwich not balanced with each bite and it's on the drier side. The meat and bread are of high quality for sure! I like that they give you complimentary popcorn and the people are so friendly, always with excellent service! I also like that they're open on Saturdays. read more

Meat lovers sandwiches to go. Due to COVID their dine in section is closed. Pastrami and roast beef are my go to favorites. A damn good sandwich, damn friendly service, and free damn popcorn. They have stripped down to the primal meat, cheese, bread, and condiment basics here - no sad yellowish-red tomatoes or tasteless lettuce shreds to dilute the experience. The bread was like biting into a memory foam pillow - in terms of texture, not taste. The meat and cheese take a disdainful dump on the garbage you get on a five dollar footlong from your local horrific chain sandwich lair. Also... free popcorn! * Note - you don't need a large if you identify as a single human being, as opposed to a collective entity or hive-mind organism (e.g., the Borg).
