Great bagels! I got the VegFast on a Jalapeño Cheddar bagel. The veggies were very fresh and the flavors all paired very well together. The service was quick, I was served by Connor who was very friendly. The store itself shares a space with an ice cream spot if you're looking for dessert afterwards.

First of all how stinking cute is this place!!! A Hidden Gem for sure!!! Close to some excellent hiking so a great place to either visit before or after your hike! The Bagels were the best I have EVER had! Dog friendly seating outside and free dog cookies! Nice restrooms. Excellent service! Will be back!!!

Delicious bagel sandwiches! My husband is from the East Coast and said this is the closest he's had to the bagels over there. Love it so much we are starting a new Sunday morning tradition of Bike and Bagels! They do get busy fast, we came at the right time and were able to be served fairly quickly! And sat outside on their lovely patio!

I keep coming back hoping it will be better... keeps getting worse, and the prices just keep going up!! I got the Grinder salad Sammy (my go to) Worst one I've had. It was like eating soup it was so wet and soggy. When they first opened they were so good but now it just seems they stopped caring.

Vegfast with turkey and sun dried tomato cream cheese on a salt bagel. Highly recommend the sun dried tomato cream cheese!

Great local bagel spot in Spokane. There were some inconsistencies on cream cheese, however everything was super tasty. Order early for best selection. We ordered online pick-up, which I recommend if the website is open, since the line can get long. Nice staff.

    Everything bagel!

After establishing The Scoop as one of Spokane's go-to ice cream spots, Jennifer and her team shifted their focus to bringing east coast style bagels to Spokane with Hidden Bagel, and I'm so glad they did. These bagels reminded me of the ones from my childhood while growing up in Brooklyn. From the crunchy exterior to the fluffy interior, the first bite hit me felt like a wave of nostalgia. We had the chance to try their everything and plain bagels and I have to say, they were everything but plain. Even though I over-toasted our first batch, these bagels maintained their airy consistency. What impressed me most was that each bite was packed with that "bagel-y" flavor - you know, that hard to describe slightly sourdoughy and kind of yeasty taste... whatever that flavor is called, these bagels have it and I'm all about it. All in all, I highly recommend these bagels for anyone who likes an east coast style bagel and I'm certainly looking forward to trying everything else on the menu myself.

The bagel shop Spokane needed! That perfect balance of crisp and crunchy on the outside but soft and buttery on the inside. These bagels have the approval of my favorite New Yorker too. Plus, the vibe and overall community of Hidden Bagel/The Scoop is what makes Spokane so great. Love that they have a north and south side location too so you can stock up for the week or swing by before work for a breakfast sandwich; don't sleep on this spot!

I gave Hidden Bagel 5-stars as it is perhaps the best in Spokane and the closest to a 'New York' bagel that we have. I was told that these bagels, for the most part, are not cooked in water, as they are conserving water and not dumping out gallons and gallons of it. Instead, they are steamed, dried and baked. Somehow boiled and hand rolled bagels taste a little better. A friend of mine in Portland who has a bagel cart hand forms and water cooks his bagels. There is a difference. I need to go back to Hidden Bagel and have an everything bagel with egg, bacon and cheese. I highly recommend that you make the trip up to W 25th and try a few of there bagels with schmear or sandwiches or both.

My wife and I dropped by for a bagel fix and were not disappointed. A blueberry French toast bagel and a bacon/cheddar bagel were the choices of the day and both were fresh and excellent. There are many choices of bagel types and schmears to put on them. They also do bagel sandwiches that others purchased and looked really good from afar. The coffee options at the moment are pretty limited as latte style drinks aren't yet on the menu. I will say that the drip coffee was outstanding. It was strong with absolutely no bitter aftertaste that I often associate with the green and white mermaid logo. Whatever they use, its good quality. Milk, cream, sugar, etc is self deployed at the small island in the lobby. The place shares the space with 'The Scoop' ice cream shop as it's owned by the same person. Inside you'll find just a couple of small tables on the ice cream side of the joint. Outside there were several tables that were mostly covered in the morning shade of the trees. This was a fun stop and glad we made it. We'll definitely be back now that we know it exists (thanks Yelp community).

Honestly, Spokane has needed a place like this! The owner is sunshine and bagel magic, the atmosphere is adorable, and the bagels are top-notch. The bagel shop is open from the morning to the early afternoon, and is attached to the famous Scoop ice cream shop on the south hill. Enter through the same door as the Scoop, and you can't miss the bagel counter and the smells coming from those ovens! The bagels have a beautiful chew, The crumb is bubbly and gorgeous, and the outside is somehow crispy and chewy at the same time. The owner even traveled to New Jersey to learn the bagel making process the right way. You can tell, as I bake myself, that the fermentation process is slow and it really shows in the product! The crew dances together beautifully filling orders and seem really happy, which makes for a really pleasant environment. There is an adorable little window so if you place your order and sit outside you can pick up when they call your name. After visiting with friends, I had to pick up some extra bagels to bring home because they were that good. Do yourself a favor, and stop by when you can. Next time friends are in town, I plan to pick up a dozen and some house made schmear so breakfast is ready to go.

Hidden bagel makes, hands down, the BEST bagels in Spokane area. They are crispy on the outside. Soft on the inside and taste amazing. Every flavor I've had is great. My favorites are Asiago, Cheddar Pickle Ranch, and Jalapeño Cheddar. My fav schmears (cream cheese) are roasted garlic and scallion. I thought I had eaten good bagels before but these are the BEST. I can't even eat other ones now. Trust me and grab a friend and RUN, don't walk, to get yourself some bagels. SO good!!! ‍ They even have a great staff that clearly enjoy being there and a wonderful owner, Jennifer.

The food was amazing. I would've been truly happy with the appetizers and the drinks alone (a restaurant should be considered amazing when all you want to do is eat all the appetizers on the menu). I knew this was going to be an amazing restaurant when I told the host the name on the reservation and someone snuck in and taken our table. So the starters were amazing, the drinks were wonderful, the people at the table next to us raved about the schnitzel. That was the only thing they would eat on the menu, but I looked over and they were tucking into a piece or two of their friend's pizza. My only regret well at least two is that I don't live close enough to go back there and finish eating all the appetizers as well as having a chance to try the desserts. This is a place that truly deserves recognition for the ambience the drinks, the starters and the main dishes. Get a reservation... Have drinks, starters a couple main course dishes and let me know how the desserts are. Hopefully, I'll be sitting at a table next to you sharing how much I love this meal.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better! I can see a salty pepperoni being good!

That's a skill. We ordered hot and iced mochas and both were dialed in. My wife went bacon avocado toast, creamy avocado against crispy bacon, exactly right. I had the sunbutter banana toast and almost ordered a second one. We grabbed an apple fritter to go. It didn't survive the drive. The background music hits just right, easy listening layered under the natural buzz of a full, happy room. Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for coffee done well.
