    Italian on Everything Bagel
    Leah K.

I finally stopped by this place for lunch and I wasn't disappointed! I got the Italian sandwich on an everything bagel and they PILED on the meat which was awesome. Service wasn't super fast but it was just one person working and he was doing as best as he could, I was still in and out within 15 minutes! Seems like a great spot for breakfast or lunch, it has a great ambiance for getting a bite to eat and maybe watching some sports. Sandwich was a bit soggy when I finally went to eat it BUT that is very understandable since I got dressing/sauces on the sandwich which means that is bound to happen!! Overall, I would recommend and I am looking forward to trying other things on the menu!

    New Yorker

Great small bagel shop. Owner bends over backwards trying to get things out in a timely manner. I came in when it was very busy and he managed to start my order cooking right away. I got the New Yorker on an everything bagel and it was superb.

I have come to this bagel place at least 4 times and every time, it never disappoints. Today I brought a friend from out of town we we both ordered "The Local" on an asiago bagel and it was delicious! The bagel was so tasty and soft the bagel was well presented, and tasted just as great! The service is always great feeling and helpful! And the ambiance well it's welcoming which I think is one of the most important parts of a place you know, when the ambiance looks so welcome it pulls you off the street. Definitely recommend you stop by !

I got everything on top of a cheddar Jalapeno bagel with scallion cream cheese. This came with avocado, sprouts, pickled red onions, and tomatoes. This was delicious but I wish the bagel itself had more jalapeno flavor. It had great texture which I was pleased with and the sandwich itself was a decent size but a little steep at $15. Next time I might pass on the pickled red onions as they were a little strong and took away from some of the other milder ingredients. My husband got the breakfast bagel which came with sausage egg and cheese on a Jalapeno bagel with scallion cream cheese. He thought everything was delicious and meld perfectly but he thought the bagel itself lacked jalapeno flavor too. I think the cheddar on the outside was the strongest flavor. His Bagel came in at $12.00

The food was amazing. I would've been truly happy with the appetizers and the drinks alone (a restaurant should be considered amazing when all you want to do is eat all the appetizers on the menu). I knew this was going to be an amazing restaurant when I told the host the name on the reservation and someone snuck in and taken our table. So the starters were amazing, the drinks were wonderful, the people at the table next to us raved about the schnitzel. That was the only thing they would eat on the menu, but I looked over and they were tucking into a piece or two of their friend's pizza. My only regret well at least two is that I don't live close enough to go back there and finish eating all the appetizers as well as having a chance to try the desserts. This is a place that truly deserves recognition for the ambience the drinks, the starters and the main dishes. Get a reservation... Have drinks, starters a couple main course dishes and let me know how the desserts are. Hopefully, I'll be sitting at a table next to you sharing how much I love this meal.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better! I can see a salty pepperoni being good!

Indaba didn't just check the boxes, it made me wonder why every coffee shop doesn't operate this way. Walk in and the space stops you. Exposed brick, warm wood, art on every wall, and a ceiling that opens up the whole room. The seating runs from cozy couches to high tops to proper tables. no bad seat in the house. Outlets everywhere. A conference room available to rent. Whoever designed this place actually thought about the people using it. The staff made us feel welcome without trying too hard. That's a skill. We ordered hot and iced mochas and both were dialed in. My wife went bacon avocado toast, creamy avocado against crispy bacon, exactly right. I had the sunbutter banana toast and almost ordered a second one. We grabbed an apple fritter to go. It didn't survive the drive. The background music hits just right, easy listening layered under the natural buzz of a full, happy room. Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for coffee done well. Before you leave, browse the retail wall. Solid selection of beans to take home, plus some genuinely cute goods worth picking up. This place has real soul. You'll feel it.

It was fairly busy when we came in, but there was no line at the counter, and it didn't take long for our drinks to come out. There's plenty of seating inside, and everybody seems in a good mood and everybody seems like they're having a good time. They were also baking some kind of bread, and it just smelled absolutely incredible. Although I didn't have any. They also do this thing where they give people... At least certain people... Free coffee. Which I thought was really cool and really generous of them. So why four stars instead of five? And this isn't exactly their fault, but parking sucks. It's street parking, there's a meter, there is a lot but it's confusing and the rules are confusing. So if you're walking from somewhere else this place is great, if you're driving in to meet for coffee it's a little bit annoying, if you just want to stop in and get something to go, it's going to be a big hassle.
