Holy smokes, this place was terrible!! Having never been to Panera before, but seeing generally good reviews, we decided to give it a shot (but only because Red Robin had such a long wait time...big mistake). After 4 hours spent trying to decipher the menu, finally coming to a consensus, then discovering that I had it all wrong ("No, that's the price PER HALF of the buy 2 deal."), we eventually came up with a complete order; even 3 "complimentary" 99¢ pastries to pick up on the way out. (Presumably because we ordered the meals that we did.) We waited. Our food came...a most disappointing display, but maybe looks were deceiving. Nope. Dry bread, skimpy, flavorless sauces, cheapo meat, and not much of it, sad, plain potato chips, limp dill pickles. This had to be a joke. The place was packed! And the drive thru just kept driving thru! I stole glances at other people's dishes, and they looked the same as ours...they weren't an anomaly. The only conclusion that I could reach, in my dumbfounded state, is that they had all been brainwashed into believing that they were eating good food!! Those Panera marketing wizards have evidently done a fine job convincing the blindly following masses that their place is healthy and cool, so therefore "we must go"! There was literally no redeeming factor. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. With steam coming out of my ears, I waited patiently as a very friendly employee (still not enough redemption) boxed up my 3 "complimentary" 99¢ pastries (which we were charged for), and hit the road. And guess what? The pastries were terrible. Dry, sickeningly sweet... I don't think I need to go on. Worst restaurant food ever. Waste of time and money. I'll do whatever I can to prevent another poor soul from having to endure what we did. Giving 1 star, partially for the nice girl at the bakery counter, but mostly so I'm not mistaken for "that" dummy who gave a good review, but forgot to check the stars. read more

My family probably eats here more often than anywhere else in Silverdale. For my two young children, it's perfect. The mac-and-cheese is always a home run with my toddlers, and the wait for food is never more than 5 minutes. I have also yet to order anything I didn't like. This is no gourmet eatery, but I have not really had an issue with staff. They're friendly and "playful." It doesn't really bother me. I'm usually too busy eating to notice. read more

This location opened up after Austin Chase Coffee was forced to shut its doors and relocate due to faulty wiring in the building which eventually burned this section of the complex to the ground. Don't worry because Austin Chase is still there. This place still has some of the best service as far as locations for Panera go and they always know how to pick good people who keep up the highest Panera Standards. From keeping the place clean to great tasting food to quick service with a smile this place is still one of the best in the chain and in Silverdale. read more

Went thru drive thru to pick up dinner. They got our soup order wrong so we had to go inside to have it fixed. Once we got home we noticed they also made both of our sandwiches wrong missing ingredients. This now made our entire order incorrect. We called for them to correct their mistakes. A manager said they would send vouchers in the mail to replace the meals which we felt made up for this. Although they never sent them and we had to call again a week later to find out why. We finally received vouchers after speaking to yet another manager. Considering their quality control and customer service who knows when the vouchers will actually be redeemed. read more

So, so glad to finally have a Panera here! This is one of our favorite chain restaurants, and this particular one has excellent service! Great staff, super friendly busser. My overall dining experience here was average. It wasn't spectacularly memorable but it wasn't downright crappy either. I think the novelty lay in the fact that it was new and a different place to eat in Silverdale. My lunch of creamy tomato soup and Sierra Turkey sandwich was acceptable in a pinch (translation: I was hungry). The soup disappointed because it was only just warm when it was brought to the table. Food was good except the lettuce was brown but I was hungry. Huge salmon fillets was a bonus but honestly part that made me decide not to revisit this location? Staff... cashier was complaining other employees were leaving her short handed. I ordered my food to go so I had to wait by kitchen. Guy putting food together was constantly complaining. one waiter asked for more bread and chef?? Put the bread on napkins. When waiter asked if chef could place bread on plate, chef started saying how he didn't get paid enough to be doing everyone's jobs. Glad chef had napkins. While waiting, I saw 5 people asking for napkins as front area was really out. Saw 8 employees with only three actually working. Two girls came out of a backroom taking about date from the last night. I will stick to my hometown location. read more

Almost everything is excellent at Panera. I recommend the Tuna Salad Sandwich, Roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT, and Chipotle Chicken Panini

First off i absolutely love that this had a drive thru!!!! I ordered the thai salad oh my lord it was so delicious! It had a lot of chicken and the dressing was oh so tasty! I also ordered the chipotle chicken panini it was good but there was sliced tomato that was soggy, i didn't like that much so i took it out then the panini was good ! Panera Silverdale, I thought I would take the time to drop a note in my busy schedule. On 3/15/19 my wife and I stopped in the Silverdale Penera for a takeout We ordered a grilled bacon, cheese and tomato full sandwich whole wheat and coffee. The wife ordered a half grilled bacon tomato and spinach salad large. In addition a separate order for bakery goods. We got home with the order and found after taking a bit there was no bacon, or tomato in either of our sandwiches and they looked like a six year old had made them. In addition the large spinach salad it was a small one welted on top, and looked like left overs. In the past year and half we have noticed the quality of Panera go down hill. We frequent the Panera in Lynwood Mall and see a big difference in quality product and proficiency of staff. The Silverdale Panera besides getting bakery goods we do not eat here much any more for lack of quality and price for what you are getting.. read more

My pecan roll was NOT fresh! It was so dry that I had to wash it down with sips of coffee to keep from choking! My breakfast sandwich was bacon, egg and cheese. They were chintzy with the bacon. I didn't know bacon could be sliced so thin! One could hardly taste it. The cheese was well hidden and the sandwich was small. You'd be better off at McDonalds! I gave Panera 3 stars not because of the food but because of the people working. Some were nice but sitting right in the dining room near where the hand out the food was awful. I heard them talking about other co-workers, talking about their brother and strippers. Not very nice for a workplace. Been here a few times. This occasion was definitely worth a rating. The staff has always been very short here without much hospitality. Typically, I overlook this because I'm happy so long as I get the food. However, the food here is always poorly prepared. This time, my food that is supposed to be served hot was cold. The staff were in the back having what sounded like an argument over who's job it was to do something. Now I'm thinking it was to make sure the food is actually cooked. I went to Panera earlier today and ordered the French Onion soup, the cashier had told me that there were croutons that came in it and I didn't want croutons, here is the dialogue: Me: No croutons please Cashier: Why Me: um because I don't want any croutons Cashier: But why don't you want any croutons? Me: Because I don't want any croutons, can I not order it with out the croutons? Cashier: You can order it without them but I need to know why you don't want them Me: Because I just don't want the croutons ( I'm starting to get kinda frustrated) Cashier: But I need to know why, Do you have a gluten allergy? Girlfriend and I were hungry so we decided to try this Silverdale location. I got the Chicken tortellini alfredo and girlfriend got Half chicken ceasar salad and mac and cheese. I got a smoothie coast over 4 bucks for 12 oz nothing on the menu stating sizes of things. Spent 30 bucks. We both got a hard piece of bread cold just thrown in the bag. Her ceasar sauce was in a sauce cup filled a 1/4 of the way. But at least her halves were filled. My Full bowl of Tortellini was half full, the noodles were soft and hard. Chicken was very dry. Only reason they get 2 stars is the staff was fast and friendly. Ordered and out the other end in 6 minutes. First time I've ever eater here and will also be the last. I expect to get a good amount of food for 15 bucks per person. If you're hungry don't go here, If you want a snack and don't mind paying the prices then this is your place. read more

Very very happy with my catering order. Had a surprise party at a relatively difficult to find location (if you haven't been there before) for 50 people. Panera delivered, on time, for free, food for 50 people. The salad was cold, and the soup was hot. Half sandwiches are individually wrapped and labeled. The staff was super nice. Presentation was better than expected for essentially upscale fast food. Cost was less than $10 per person and there was plenty of food. Ordering online is easy and fairly customizable for a catering order. They got all the customizations right. They brought all the appropriate serving utensils and such as well as a good number of plates, bowls, and eating utensils. I really can't think of anything bad to say. Panera will definitely be my first thought for my any future casual catering needs. read more
