C-6. Pumpkin Red Curry W/ salmon

We have been here a few times and it's Always delicious, I had the Rama w/ chicken, and wifey had the the salmon w/ pumpkin curry. All was good , the only complaint was wife's salmon was over cooked, she would get the curry again, but try a different protein. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We love this place

Not a busy establishment, but ample seating and excellent food. I've been here a couple times, and have enjoyed their Phad Thai with chicken, Tum Yum soup with chicken, and a Thai Ice Tea. Treating myself to dessert, I really like the black sticky rice pudding with coconut mile. What a really enjoyable meal.

A nice date spot! I loved the booth seating where you could sit criss cross or legs on the floor. There was a very convenient call button you push when you're ready or need something. (By the way it's more of a swipe your finger until you see the red light instead of actual push). I liked this style of service. We didn't get interrupted and when we did need something, the server came right away when using the button. The food was great! Loved the basil fried rice and the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) had great flavor. I definitely want to come back and try their dessert!

This restaurant gets a five star for the co-owner, Pauline, who is the sweetest person, I've met in a long time. She took her time to understand my order, by coming out to my car and making sure that I got it right, which was extra special since I walk with a walker these days. The restaurant menu is extensive enough and the prices are fair. The food tastes fresh but doesn't quite have the sharp flavors of thai food that I'm used to. Just a little bit underwhelming in the flavor department, but absolutely hot and fresh, and enough flavor to not complain, but rather just point it out. The prices are good, but the quantities are of an equal match, meaning that you're not going to get a lot of food but you are going to get pretty much what you pay for. So if you come hungry, you might want to double up on your orders of appetizers. I'll be back.

This is a must go! This is a fairly new place so we wanted to check it out. We had been to this location when it was different owner/name. I like the updates they made. Everyone we encountered were so friendly and smiling. For seating they have traditional table and chairs as well as booths that have a "sunken" feel. There is a "call light" at each table. Whenever you need your server you press the button and they come. Including when you are ready to order, want drinks, to-go boxes or the check. We never waited long. The food is SO GOOD! I had crab curry. I was hesitant since most places that have crab dishes, the amount is so small it's typically not worth the price. But my surprise is not only did they have the deep fried crab on top. They had a base of shredded crab underneath the curry and it was amazing surprise! I loved the fresh veggies that came with it too. My husband got the beef and though it was thin it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. And seasoned perfect! His fried rice had some delicious fried garlic pieces on top. He would get it again. Our friend got the catfish and said was so flavorful and looked forward to coming back and getting it again. The desert list is limited and some items are seasonal only. I wish that was noted on the menu. Parking lot has plenty of parking. Is it worth the drive?...yes!

Interior and exterior updates on this neighborhood classic Thai restaurant. If you are looking for a Thai restaurant with outstanding service and ambiance, look no further than this place.. from the plating to the decor, this place is fantastic. But what about the food, how did it taste, oh it was outstanding!!! I thought this place may be a little novelty-ish but it's far from that. They even have little private-ish booths to sit at. You have to see this place for yourself or see it again now that it's been renamed and updated. If you're looking for an outstanding Thai restaurant.. this is it.. now the prices, it's a tad high but just a tad like maybe $1 more than somewhere else but once you get there you see where the extra money went to.. it's in the ingredients everything was so flavorful and vibrant in color. Very happy with my meal!!

My wife and I were craving some thai food and we thought we had tried all the decent places in the area. We found Ginn Imm on a whim and decided to try it...i'm glad we did! We arrived shortly after it opened around 11 am and when we walk in we realised how nice the ambience is, with beautiful decor all over the restaurant. We also noticed how clean it was and we were politely greeted by the hostess. We were seated quickly and attended to properly the entire time. We ended up ordering the pad Thai and then a garlic basil dish that we had never tried before. Both of these were absolutely delicious and left us wanting even more after we finished our dishes. My wife tried the Thai tea and she said that it's one of the best teas she's ever had. We will be making this one of our top go to Thai food places when we get a hankering for some Pad Thai!

Crying Tiger (Rib eye steak with salad and sticky rice & spicy dipping sauce)
    Melody D.

Former Bahn Thai restaurant. Nice vibe. Service was friendly albeit slightly slower than average, though there were a couple tables and one waiter, and hostess, so truly understandable. I ordered the crying tiger dish: ribeye steak with salad, sticky rice and a spicy dipping sauce. Steak was cooked medium and cooked nicely. I liked it! My significant other ordered a halibut dish 2 stars and it was spicy! His only gripe is the menu states it was crispy but it came slightly soggy. It was tossed in sauce so that was kept in mind. Pretty good for our first time. Would love to come back to try their curries.

Crispy garlic duck is very overcooked and extremely dry

My wife and I decided to try Ginn Imm tonight for a date night, starting with the good, the hosts/ servers were quick and friendly. We were seated just after arriving, we were given a reasonably enough time to review the menu and decide what we were going to order. My wife ordered a curry and I ordered the crispy garlic duck. We also ordered an appetizer to start with. The appetizer (called Angel wings " were fried well, however the filling inside lacked a lot of flavor; it was disappointing as, if seasoned well it could have been very tasty. When our entrees arrived presentation was nice and well put together. The curry tasted unfortunately more like an Indian curry as opposed to a Thai curry. In regards to curries there are better ones around. Which we were disappointed to experience. My duck entree was also disappointing, the duck was extremely overcooked and extremely dry; if the dish had been cooked properly, I imagine it could be decent. Regrettably, my wife and I had decided that given the dissatisfaction in the appetizer as well as the entree, we will most likely not be back. We had both agreed that we would have rather gone to the other Thai restaurant in the next parking lot over. What also solidified this decision, was the fact we needed to stop on the way home at the local Walgreens to pick up some Pepto just to settle our stomachs after the dinner which we did not finish. This decision is disappointing as the service was not bad. However for the cost of the diner, there are better places near by.

    Pad broccoli!

This is the absolute best Thai food in the Silverdale/Poulsbo area. The spring rolls were super crispy and well seasoned and the plum sauce was perfect. We had the pad broccoli with a glorious amount of golden garlic and the spicy mango beef. The beef was tender and the mango was so juicy, bthe spice level was perfect and the veggies were crisp. The garlic broccoli was amazing, very flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Thai iced teas were great as well. The service was amazing and so helpful and it made the experience great. Definitely give them a try, this would be perfect for a date or group dinner(so you can order more items and share!)

Khao soi lamb, it was amazing! The lamb shank was so tender I didn't have to use the knife

Now it's rare for me to not like a Thai place. It's gotta just be off the reservation. This is a very run-of-the-mill Thai food. Very good quality stuff ingredients aren't over cooked noodles were good. Vegetables were good and overall had a great taste. Now it's not gonna be the best Thai food restaurant ever been to but like many things it's all about your area. We were in the area looked at Thai food and they said good reviews and good photos and everything lined up with that. A little on the not so spicy side is my only complaint it's always hard to judge if a four out of five is gonna kill you or just not be enough . In this case I would air on the side of a higher number in order to get a more accurate space. Noodle dishes were great just the right amount of oily goodness on my pad kee mao. Definitely worth a try.

Stopped in impromptu with 2 friends on a Saturday night. We started with Thai fried spring rolls which were delightfully crunchy on the outside but seemed undercooked inside. Moving on, I had the red curry with beef at 4/5 spicy. My friend had a halibut curry. We all agreed the main courses were excellent with generous amounts of rice included with the curries. I love hot food and my 4/5 spicy red curry was making me question some life decisions! I wouldn't go any hotter or you can try it and the waiter offered to bring extra chili's to spice it up if needed. It wasn't. The female waiter was friendly and attentive to our need for refills of water and sodas and also have us our privacy which was great. When a friend stopped in momentarily the male chef came just to check briefly we weren't being harassed by a some random street person which was appreciated. I had enough for take home and we were provided spill-proof recyclable plastic containers with lids which was appreciated over those Styrofoam clamshells which spill and worse don't recycle. The decor was somewhat sparse but decorated with Thai cultural items. Thai dramas and music on the TV added to authenticity. The bathrooms were very clean which always speaks well to the cleanliness of the kitchen. Would definitely eat here again.

I could probably have licked my plate clean on every meal that I have ever had there. Generally, there has always been excellent customer service, and all the things that you would expect from a great restaurant. However, a couple of days ago I had a really bad experience. I live pretty far away, and there are thai restaurants closer to my home. Sawatdy restaurant is a twenty mile drive in one direction from my home. Yet, I will patronize it every now and again to bring business to her restaurant and because its been my favorite. I don't think I'll be going back. This post is not to discourage anyone from going. The food is generally amazing. And again, the service is top notch. I drove all the way to the restaurant a couple of days ago and ordered three things. The stuffed wings, a pad Thai dish, and drunken noodles. The bill was $75 and some change. The food portions were amazingly large, which is always good when you get your money's worth. From the order, the chicken wings were exceptional. They were outstanding very delicious as they have always been. However, the two main dishes, one for myself and one for my sister were absolutely disastrously bad. They both were like they had been either cooked earlier in the day, and left out for too long, or overcooked. On both of our dishes, the meat was really bad and the food was dry. In my nearly twenty years of going to the restaurant, it's never been like that ever. We couldn't eat them. And both of us can eat just about anything! I called and because the owner knows me, we had a great conversation about me coming back to the restaurant and getting the two dishes made again. Knowing that I live twenty miles in one direction away, it was gonna take me a few days to go back. Maybe even a week or so. We had an agreement that I was counting on to get the two dishes redone, but not the stuffed chicken, of course. When I called today saying that I was going to drive back for the two dishes I was told that they would only replace one. I had two dishes that were severely overcooked or dried out, or old. One dish, the chicken wings were delicious.I didn't want to refund. And I was told they would only replace one. So I went back and I got the one dish, which was the drunken noodles. And it was absolutely up to par.It was outstanding as it should have been the first time. Fresh meat fresh noodles fresh everything! I've included a picture. I'm disappointed though, because i've always been a patron of the restaurant who's never complained about their food. I've always elevated the food to my friends and colleagues and I've even brought people to that restaurant in the past. Getting one dish replaced when two dishes were bad does not sit very well with me. So I will go to the restaurants near me in Poulsbo and Silverdale instead. And we'll forget about and say farewell, to what was my favorite Thai restaurant in Kitsap County. Yep it's the principle of the thing. Paying nearly a hundred dollars for the two meals to be terrible. Explaining that they were knowing that i've never done that before or had that experience in twenty years, and to be only provided with one dish as a replacement is just not okay. Now we will close this by saying that was my only bad experience in twenty years. And I know everyone loves that restaurant. And I do recommend that you patronize it. My backing out, and choosing to take it off my list is a thing of principles.

The 'new' owners have put their own spin on the dishes and a have fashioned a great place of their own. I think at some point they could even change the restaurant name to make it wholly theirs. The server who seated us was very friendly and put us at ease. She brought our menus very quickly and gave us more than adequate time to decide on our dishes. Well, I was the one who needed the time; my wife and son had seen the online menu and already knew what they wanted. We chose the Crab Rangoon, Fried Calamari, and Pork-Fried Rice (#1 spice) to share. The appetizers were brought quickly and were delightfully hot. The only glitch in the service here was when our server took away the empty dish with the sweet garlic dipping sauce still in the bowl. We still had uneaten Crab Rangoon on our plates. We should've told her to leave the dipping sauce but were too surprised to speak out. Note to us to speak out and a note to the server to ask before removing food or sauces from a table. Our entrees were brought out one at a time and the fried rice was brought out about the same time. I chose the Garlic Delight with Beef (#4 spice) , my wife chose Pad See Ew with Pork (#1 spice) and our son chose Pad See Ew with Beef (#4 spice). My dish was very good with just the right amount of heat for me. Our son is impervious to most hot spices but still liked his dish, and my wife also liked her dish with a hint of spice. I asked our server what type of meat was in my dish and the cook told her it was ribeye. That impressed me since most Asian restaurants used flank steak. The only criticism I had of the dish was that the ribeye should've been seared for extra flavor and texture, but it was still very good. We also noticed that the Pad See Ew was made with rice ribbon noodles instead of the traditional pad see ew noodles (which can be a bear to work with). Not sure why the restaurant made the substitution but I didn't ask about it. The servings here are impressive with an abundance of meat along with veggies and noodles. My wife and I also enjoyed Thai Iced Tea. So, delicious food, a delightful server who brought our food quickly which all made for a great wedding anniversary dinner.
