Quiet area for a late Thursday afternoon. We wanted some comfort food and stopped here since we were in Bremerton. We were the only ones there, but that means priority service lol! Service was quick and friendly. We ordered a Chicken Banh Mi and Lao Noodle aka Khao poon, one of my favs. Since they have it, I must try! The flavor was good, but it was different from what I'm used to. There were a lot of potatoes in there, which I never had before and carrots. Weird, but it was flavorful. It was more like curry noodle soup instead, in a sense, Khao poon is curry-esk. I just had more authentic version that I'm used to. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it. The banh mi was actually spicy on it's own, which I think they made it a Laotian version and not the Vietnamese way. My boyfriend had a slight difficult time eating it since he cannot handle spicy. If he could, it would've been a perfect sandwich for him.

A great little spot for delicious Thai food. There are only a handful of tables, so if you want to eat inside you might have a bit of a wait. I love Khao Soi and so when I saw this restaurant with the name, I had to go try it. It was delicious. They do serve the chicken on the bone, so be prepared. My husband had pad thai and it was fine. The best part was truly the Khao Soi. The crab wontons were standard. Would definitely eat here again.

First off what a cute little spot right by the water! Chose to sit outside because it was a nice sunny breezy day. We were five people and we ordered 5 dishes to share. Chicken wings: 10/5 Came out hot! You need to get this. So crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Skin was perfect. Flavor was perfect. Could not have asked for better wings. They also had some baked basil chips on the side which were also very yummy. Grilled beef salad: 4.5/5 Wish there were a bit more greens. Mostly onions which were good but very spicy and made my mouth taste like onion. The beef was good though. Pad Thai Goong with seafood: 4/5 A bit too sweet for my taste. Otherwise pretty solid. Spaghetti kee mao with tofu: 5/5 My favorite noodle dish! Absolutely love the texture. So bouncy and the waviness caught all the sauce. Not too sweet and the perfect amount of spice. Love the peanuts and bean sprouts which added a nice crunch. Also squeezed quite a good amount of lime on top. Stir fried veggies: 5/5 So good! Just wish we had more. They were gone in minutes. Service was amazing! This was such a quaint little restaurant and our waiter was so courteous.

Khan Soi has a good selection of Thai food, but I found the Pad Thai to be bland with no strong flavors. Serving size was good and the dish was not bad, however I did not get the Thai-craving-fix that I was looking for. Outdoor seating section is nice. The view overlooks the water and bridge. It was u clear to us (and another near by table) that we had to go back up to the register to place our order rather than a server coming to take our order, so we waited around for a while (15-20 mins) until we went in to see what was happening. Would have appreciated a check in of sorts, but after this was cleared up, service was extremely quick.

Great Authentic Thai and Northern Thai restaurant with great friendly service and nice cozy feels (they also have patio seating) plus great view of the water. Best Thai food around the area!! & Second visit on the same week: We like to try some other dishes - Angry Ocean Fried Rice and Spaghetti Kee Mao plus Meing Kum (OMG) ; everything are so good. We getting Duck Curry and Hunglay for ToGo as well ;) Love Love this place!! My top favorite Thai food of Western WA ;)

Super quick service, clean tables, friendly staff. Dishes you can't go wrong with: any of the curries. The fried rice dishes actually blew my mind, we got the Ocean Fried rice and with spicy 3 it has great flavor. Dishes that were solid but with comment: pad Thai if you prefer a little heat and not super sweet, get 3 heat. We did 2 and it was still more sweet than expected. The garlic crunchy chicken was not as good, wouldn't order. It was still fresh and the vegetables were tasty. But would try other stuff when I go back. We will be back

So this amazing gem is a small restaurant along the Port Washington Narrows coming out of Dyes Inlet in Bremerton Washington. I have been here only twice so far and plan on coming back as much as possible...! This place is amazing! The service from Champa and the chefs are amazing! The atmosphere, warm and intimate. The food? Spectacular! This past visit I ordered Kaprow and was treated to the very best version of Kaprow I've ever had anywhere...! Including Thailand...! I am already booking another work trip up to the area and will probably eat here everyday! Summer weather expands the place to include outside dining. This isn't just a meal, it's an experience. And one you won't soon forget!

Was very pleasantly surprised by they gem tucked away in Bremerton. Cozy atmosphere, attentive service and most importantly great food!

Khao Soi is my new Thai favorite in this area. Pad See Ew with Pork and Green Curry with chicken were delish. We found medium or hot spiciness to be just right. There are only 5 tables inside so there are a lot of takeout orders. Our server was very pleasant and efficient.

Tried their second location in port orchard first and this one in Bremerton is even better!!! The server was very kind and helpful, great about cleaning our area when bringing other things to our table. I loved the outdoor dining area and imagine it's gorgeous at night. The food was PERFECT! There was a delicious char to the meat and the spice level was amazing. Got a 2 and it was nose running spicy for me. The only thing I might mention is there was a slight whiff of trash every so often I didn't care for but might have been the day and their trash schedule. Other than that I WILL be coming back and often!!

Well, my friends, after a long drought we've found our favorite Thai place in Port Orchard: Khao Soi. Maybe our favorite in the entire, which makes it even more convenient that it's in town. But we almost didn't eat here. When I called for info the phone just rang until I hung up. I called the Bremerton store and a female employee was told the PO location was open but the small staff was likely to busy to answer the phone. She advised I call the restaurant back. I did and the phone was picked up after a couple of rings by a delightful, sunny-voiced lady. She answered my questions and ended the call with 'See you soon!" There was such enthusiasm and welcoming in that voice I thought, "Yes you will!" So my wife and I and our son visited there yesterday for dinner. The place wasn't that busy and we were shown to a great table by a young man. You get the sense here that's all family-run. Apparently our host, who was also our server, was playing with a very young girl standing by the bar. There was something about the obvious love shown between them that made the place a little bit more warm and special. But would the food and service measure up? Not to worry. Everything we ordered was served fairly quickly. Here's a rundown on what we ordered. First, my wife and I ordered Thai Iced Tea. It's served in a tall glass with a straw inserted in the glass. Although kind of pricey at $5 for a 16 oz glass, we'd order it again because it was very good. The Crab Wontons (not called Rangoon here) were our starter. It says on the menu that it's partly made from imitation crab (along with real prawns) but this dish typically tastes more of savory cream cheese than crab anyway. It was delicious, and perfectly cooked to very crispy--but hot as in temperature. Be careful about digging in right away, if you can. I ordered the Garlic Broccoli with Beef with the highest level of spice. One other Thai restaurant's top spice level was hotter than this but i tell ya, the heat in this dish backed up and me and became beautifully more than enough. The really hot stuff is worth it for all the endorphins it kicks in afterwards. The meat was cut into long triangles and though just a bit chewy, the flavors and color of the meat was exceptional. Plenty of beef and broccoli garnished with finely chopped peanuts. A stand-out dish as well as a beautiful plate of food. I WILL be ordering this again. Both my wife and son ordered the Pad See Ew. She had hers with pork at no spice level, and our son ordered his with beef at the same top spice level as me. They both greatly enjoyed their dish. With my son, at first he greatly annoyed me with his usual comment, "What heat?" But the guy does have a higher tolerance for spice heat than I do, but it's still annoying, you know? I tasted some of the dish and where I thought the rice noodles were too mushy, he liked them just fine. But the surprising part is where the Pad See Ew at another Thai place in town was his favorite before the owner sold the business, he said he liked THIS dish better. Which means he's now found his favorite dish at Khao Soi. OK, so two dishes hit out of the park. The Stir-fried Vegetables were very good, even with a pool of sauce/oil at the bottom of the plate. BUT, the sauce/oil was delicious! I wound up spooning the perfectly-cooked Jasmine Rice onto my plate and pouring the sauce/oil over the rice and mixing it in. It made the rice taste even more delicious. There's still a bit of tweaking in the service area to be done here but it'll come. During checkout the woman who was the only other server on the floor printed out our receipt. When she talked to me about it I realized SHE WAS THE ONE I TALKED TO ON THE PHONE!!!! Her personality was just as sweet and charming in person as on the phone. And she again said "See you soon" or something like that. You sure will. But since the owners have claimed this page for their Bremerton location, they should create a page for the Port Orchard location, just to eliminate any confusion as to which location is being reviewed.

If you like Thai give this place a try. Soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated. We had shrimp rolls, street phad thai, and angry ocean rice-- and trust me, it was nice. But the best thing we had is lemon tea over ice! This place was a win! Thanks y'all, we'll see you again. An original poem by Sweets Eats

Came here for lunch after seeing that they have items designated as gluten free in their menu. They had more options than a lot of places nearby so that's why I'm giving 4 stars; however, I had the pad Thai and oml it was so sweet. Maybe I'm just not used to the flavor anymore but it was so overpowering. My mom and husband got different things and they did like their food so that was cool. They did not have a children's menu so that was tricky to eat with our little one as he has peanut allergies and we get a little nervous. We asked them to make sure no peanuts made it in our plates and still something did so we asked them to fix it and they quickly did with no issues so that was great. That's the problem with no kids meals, it's that we end up sharing so that makes it hard especially with the allergies. Overall it was nice, I like the outdoor dining option, it's a little small and intimate inside but overall I'd be willing to try it again.

Do you have a great backdrop now great ideas and just decided to check in so that I can review it later, hoping that possibly able to came back and eaten in and provided some substance. Now it's rare for me to not like a Thai place. It's gotta just be off the reservation. This is a very run-of-the-mill Thai food. Very good quality stuff ingredients aren't over cooked noodles were good. Vegetables were good and overall had a great taste. Now it's not gonna be the best Thai food restaurant ever been to but like many things it's all about your area. We were in the area looked at Thai food and they said good reviews and good photos and everything lined up with that. A little on the not so spicy side is my only complaint it's always hard to judge if a four out of five is gonna kill you or just not be enough . In this case I would air on the side of a higher number in order to get a more accurate space. Noodle dishes were great just the right amount of oily goodness on my pad kee mao. Definitely worth a try.

Stopped in impromptu with 2 friends on a Saturday night. We started with Thai fried spring rolls which were delightfully crunchy on the outside but seemed undercooked inside. Moving on, I had the red curry with beef at 4/5 spicy. My friend had a halibut curry. We all agreed the main courses were excellent with generous amounts of rice included with the curries. I love hot food and my 4/5 spicy red curry was making me question some life decisions! I wouldn't go any hotter or you can try it and the waiter offered to bring extra chili's to spice it up if needed. It wasn't. The female waiter was friendly and attentive to our need for refills of water and sodas and also have us our privacy which was great. When a friend stopped in momentarily the male chef came just to check briefly we weren't being harassed by a some random street person which was appreciated. I had enough for take home and we were provided spill-proof recyclable plastic containers with lids which was appreciated over those Styrofoam clamshells which spill and worse don't recycle. The decor was somewhat sparse but decorated with Thai cultural items. Thai dramas and music on the TV added to authenticity. The bathrooms were very clean which always speaks well to the cleanliness of the kitchen. Would definitely eat here again.

Our beloved son took us out to dinner at Thai Charlie's (per our request) for our 40th wedding…read moreanniversary. We made a great choice. The original Thai Charlie's was our go-to in town. The 'new' owners have put their own spin on the dishes and a have fashioned a great place of their own. I think at some point they could even change the restaurant name to make it wholly theirs. The server who seated us was very friendly and put us at ease. She brought our menus very quickly and gave us more than adequate time to decide on our dishes. Well, I was the one who needed the time; my wife and son had seen the online menu and already knew what they wanted. We chose the Crab Rangoon, Fried Calamari, and Pork-Fried Rice (#1 spice) to share. The appetizers were brought quickly and were delightfully hot. The only glitch in the service here was when our server took away the empty dish with the sweet garlic dipping sauce still in the bowl. We still had uneaten Crab Rangoon on our plates. We should've told her to leave the dipping sauce but were too surprised to speak out. Note to us to speak out and a note to the server to ask before removing food or sauces from a table. Our entrees were brought out one at a time and the fried rice was brought out about the same time. I chose the Garlic Delight with Beef (#4 spice) , my wife chose Pad See Ew with Pork (#1 spice) and our son chose Pad See Ew with Beef (#4 spice). My dish was very good with just the right amount of heat for me. Our son is impervious to most hot spices but still liked his dish, and my wife also liked her dish with a hint of spice. I asked our server what type of meat was in my dish and the cook told her it was ribeye. That impressed me since most Asian restaurants used flank steak. The only criticism I had of the dish was that the ribeye should've been seared for extra flavor and texture, but it was still very good. We also noticed that the Pad See Ew was made with rice ribbon noodles instead of the traditional pad see ew noodles (which can be a bear to work with). Not sure why the restaurant made the substitution but I didn't ask about it. The servings here are impressive with an abundance of meat along with veggies and noodles. My wife and I also enjoyed Thai Iced Tea. So, delicious food, a delightful server who brought our food quickly which all made for a great wedding anniversary dinner.
