Pho

We were in town visiting from Seattle and needed a quick bite of lunch. Menu had a large variety. I was worried that if they offered too many different Asian cuisines, that none would be done really well, but we were pleasantly surprised. We got the General Tso wings which were really good. Nice and saucy. Also got Pad Thai. Not a typical Pad Thai that I'm used to, but it still hit the spot. Hubby also got pho. Solid place to go if you're in Port Orcard and craving Asian cuisine and can't decide on a specific one!

We dine here regularly because the food is consistently delicious. I always have the Thai Basil Beef which is absolutely amazing. Sweet and spicy and it is worthy of a food magazine picture the way it is served. The vegetables are fresh and the jalepenos are huge. Hubby always tries anything and almost every dish and most of the time he enjoys it. I think he's had one dish he didn't care for. He likes seafood. I do not. Service is excellent and they seem to do a lot of door dash type stuff. For Thai food this is our go to place. Tried other places and they just can't compete when it comes to flavor. The next time I have my dish I'll try to snap a pic and edit the review.

I overlooked this place for awhile. From the outside, it didn't look busy anytime I passed. I suspect they do a lot of to go orders like many businesses do these days. I was surprised when I finally tried them on how amazing their food was. Tried the Phad Kee Mao, a Thai noodle dish and it was delicious! We've been going back a few times a week now. Also, love their Thai Basil Chicken dish. It has similar flavors to the Phad Kee Mao but I eat it with their white rice instead of the flat thick white noodles. Server is great at suggesting dishes if you need help choosing. So happy I stumbled upon this place. Food is delicious, nice restaurant.

I ordered the viet crepes and Family Meal A which comes with sweet and sour chik, Mongolian chik and broccoli beef. The meal also comes with 3 apps which are 2 egg rolls, 2 cheese rangoons and 2 pieces of BBQ pork. Along with the meal is rice and soup, I chose fried rice and egg drop for ours. So the crepes were extremely firm, my jaw was tired from eat half of one. The order comes with 2 crepes filled with onions, shrimp, bean sprouts and carrots. The filling was great but the actual crepe was just so hard. I was struggling to finish it but I did lol....ofcourse. My family really liked the food, I'm sure they'll come here again when they're craving chinese. I wouldn't order the crepes again, they were insanely hard to eat considering they are called crepes and crepes are generally soft. I would eat here again and try a different dish.

Food's good enough, but Simon is rude. Simply rude. It affects the dining experience. Will not eat here again.

Good food. Wide variety, friendly staff. No complaints. Low traffic location so the wait is usually nonexistent.

I've come here multiple times with no issues. However my recent experience was not what I expected…read more This review is saved by the wonderful waitress serving us who was thrown under the bus by their manager and I was not keen on that because her service and communication was excellent. The food for our recent experience was pleasant with one problem - menu did not reflect the actual price of what was charged. SO, for me, that would be a big red flag for obvious reasons. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and expected the manager to rectify this obvious mistake. We were charged 19.99 for 10 wings instead of the menu price of 15.50. To my disappointment, the manager SENT the waitress to tell us that it's already charged and there's nothing they could do about it. Whaaaat?! That was not expected. Of course when I got up to dispute this the manager said he'd refund me. But sir, WHY am I getting up to talk to you for this mistake? You should come to our table and explain what happened and apologize because that's a BIG no no to charge customers something they did not agree to. I've worked at places where managers who are inadequate will throw the other employees and waiters under the bus to deal with angry customers because they do not have the social skills to do so. This was a good chance for the restaurant to show that they have adequate leadership. In this case they really fell short and I felt bad for this waiter. She was apologizing but the manager said nothing. I would recommend this guy get some training on customer service and satisfaction. Otherwise, how do we know this wasn't on purpose? Check on your receipts to make sure this problem isn't consistent. For reference, our order totaled to about $50+ with the extra charge without tip.

Our waitress was very polite and patient. The sushi was fresh, and delicious. I would recommend…read morethis place.

Our beloved son took us out to dinner at Thai Charlie's (per our request) for our 40th wedding…read moreanniversary. We made a great choice. The original Thai Charlie's was our go-to in town. The 'new' owners have put their own spin on the dishes and a have fashioned a great place of their own. I think at some point they could even change the restaurant name to make it wholly theirs. The server who seated us was very friendly and put us at ease. She brought our menus very quickly and gave us more than adequate time to decide on our dishes. Well, I was the one who needed the time; my wife and son had seen the online menu and already knew what they wanted. We chose the Crab Rangoon, Fried Calamari, and Pork-Fried Rice (#1 spice) to share. The appetizers were brought quickly and were delightfully hot. The only glitch in the service here was when our server took away the empty dish with the sweet garlic dipping sauce still in the bowl. We still had uneaten Crab Rangoon on our plates. We should've told her to leave the dipping sauce but were too surprised to speak out. Note to us to speak out and a note to the server to ask before removing food or sauces from a table. Our entrees were brought out one at a time and the fried rice was brought out about the same time. I chose the Garlic Delight with Beef (#4 spice) , my wife chose Pad See Ew with Pork (#1 spice) and our son chose Pad See Ew with Beef (#4 spice). My dish was very good with just the right amount of heat for me. Our son is impervious to most hot spices but still liked his dish, and my wife also liked her dish with a hint of spice. I asked our server what type of meat was in my dish and the cook told her it was ribeye. That impressed me since most Asian restaurants used flank steak. The only criticism I had of the dish was that the ribeye should've been seared for extra flavor and texture, but it was still very good. We also noticed that the Pad See Ew was made with rice ribbon noodles instead of the traditional pad see ew noodles (which can be a bear to work with). Not sure why the restaurant made the substitution but I didn't ask about it. The servings here are impressive with an abundance of meat along with veggies and noodles. My wife and I also enjoyed Thai Iced Tea. So, delicious food, a delightful server who brought our food quickly which all made for a great wedding anniversary dinner.

The outside of the restaurant looks a bit shady but once you go inside, you see a welcoming site of an elegant restaurant twith plenty of lighting, tables and chairs. The service was okay, the female employee who helped us felt dismissive while forcing politeness. She came by too quickly when we were browsing their decently sized menu. Eventually, I got their Kung Pao chicken with fried rice and egg flower soup while my boyfriend got their almond chicken with fried rice and egg flower soup. The food was pretty good and generous for what you pay for. The fried rice had a very pale color, which I wasn't used to. It was just meh, as well as the egg roll and cream cheese that came with the food. The egg flower soup, kung pao chicken and almond chicken was delicious.

There is plenty of seating with booths and tables for large parties. We ordered cream cheese wontons, oyster beef, and Kung pao chicken. It was served with house fried rice.
