What a great place! My pastor told me about this. I had a cheeseburger and it was great. Everything was tasty and the service really wonderful. My son had the grilled cheese and he enjoyed it. Gave uncle dave's another shot. Interior has been updated and looks better than before. In our opinion the tables at the booths should be little lower or offer booster seats. We ordered the ham scramble combo, substituted sausage for ham And the chicken fried steak breakfast burrito. This has to be the best breakfast's we have had here. Eggs, sausage, onions and peppers actually cooked. A lot of places around here love to give you peppers and onions barely touching the grill. Potatoes were cooked nicely and the biscuit and gravy was excellent this time! The chicken fried steak breakfast burrito was good but could use a side of gravy to dip it in. Wanted to try this place that one of my coworkers routinely eats at. Inside there are booths, tables and then bar seating as well. Had dinner here tonight for the first time with my husband. He really liked his French dip, good au jus. My ribeye was very disappointing. Barely warm-ish. Super thin, lots of gristle, required tons more salt than it should have. I asked for medium rare, looked ok but it was pretty dry. I did eat the steak and a few tots. Can't really mess up salad or tator tots. I was in a rush and didn't complain or give them the opportunity or heads up to fix it. I just would never order this meal again on the outside chance we'll come back. Judging by all the 4-5 star ratings, breakfast offerings must be really spectacular. Idk. Don't worry they offer a big version of this dish if you want an unreasonable portion. The food came out relatively quickly, the diner wasn't busy and it wasn't a weekend. Breakfast was excellent! The bathroom could have been cleaner, there is no hook on the back of the door and what is the deal with all of the golf stuff! Called in an order, arrived and paid, even gave cash tip. My order was placed alone and sat for 17 minutes while other orders came out and were served. A door dash order was placed next to my box. Packed and given to the the driver, while my box sat there. 2 servers literally had to move my order to get other orders out. I called them out and was given attitude. Uncle Dave's is a cute cafe! They offer comfort food in a diner type setting. Service is good! Our coffee was never empty. And the food is delicious. We have been a few times and it is consistent. My son rates their traditional Eggs Benedict as one of the top 3 in Kitsap! Their burgers are terrific and their breakfast offerings are all great! read more

I have loved Dave's for going on 12 years!! I don't live in the area anymore but happened to be back and I just had to stop in to get my corned beef hash fix!! my grandfather and I tried uncle Dave today and we're not impressed with food or service. the biscuits and gravy were not anything what they are hyped to be. Coffee was cold. And we were offended by the Service from the older waitress, the way she acted toward my grandfather. I understand they are working for tips, but she made him very uncomfortable With her actions and words.
