Walked in and was told to seat myself even though there were only two tables with people dining. The rest of the restaurant was empty. The waitress sat at the bar BSing with a customer after she served me white wine in a dirty glass that they forgot to refrigerate. No silverware at my table as I ate my samosas with my hands. The teenaged staff joked and went about fkg off as I had to smell the mop water bucket they had out to wipe down the tables. Dust and dirt literally everywhere I looked. I got my meal finally after sitting there for what seemed like ages and the silverware was thrown on top of the food. I guess I should be happy that I didn't have to ask for it. The food was subpar and cold and actually off of a whole other menu that had nothing to do with burgers or that restaurant, leaving me really confused. I only ate a few bites of my food and left it there on the table. I ordered a cheesecake to go and immediately upon opening it I could tell that it was no bake cheesecake from the box. They charged me over $60 and I was floored. I don't know what is happening there but I felt nauseous all night after that. I will be calling the health department on them. Don't go there if you are expecting respect as a consumer or good food or even a clean place to dine. I would give zero stars if I could. (This experience was last night 7-26-2026) read more

Insane! Burger Claim and more?! Who would've thunk that they have a Indian menu too! I ordered Butter Chicken with cheese naan on the side and it's DELISH! Even my husband likes it! Hubby ordered Fish and Chips (2 deep fried fish is more than enough!), my boys ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and onions rings. The place is clean and neat. This is now one of our favorite places to go to whilst in Belfair, WA. The service is spot on, our waitress Kari is amazing! Surprisingly enough, we were seated quickly, on Memorial Day! read more

Have been frequenting this restaurant for about 5 years and it has definitely gone downhill. Yesterday I ordered a Denver Omelet, hash browns and toast. Omelet was good but the hash browns taste like they'd been cooked on a dirty flat top or with rancid oil. When I told the server she basically blew me off and made me feel like I was wrong. Didn't apologize, offer to make it better or any other normal customer service techniques to make my experience better and simply walked off. I clearly had only taken one bite and given one to my husband who concurred with the taste being bitter. They weren't burnt and actually looked very good so it had to be the dirty flat top. Wasn't looking for a discount or anything and didn't ask to speak with the manager but am definitely done going to Burger Claim. Not interested, food wasn't good and zero customer service when faced with a problem. Go to JR's on the other side of town instead! read more

We stopped in here after a quick trip to see Tee Lake, not knowing what to expect. It was mid afternoon so it wasn't busy. As we were all over 21 we sat in the bar area. Our server came right over and took our drink orders. When she was back we ordered lunch and based on a picture I saw here I got the chicken fried steak dinner. We also had a BLT with salad and a French dip. It was all delicious. The CFS was tender and freshly cooked and smothered in white gravy. The BLTs had bacon hanging over the edges and the bread on the French dip was soft and pillowy which is perfect for dipping in au jus. And the fries were as good as they look with huge portion sizes. The restaurant was clean and all of the servers were friendly. Prices were higher than I expected, but the portion sizes and great service justify the cost. read more

Good looking place, the vibe was a little off... almost like the staff was being held hostage. I love burgers so as I saw the name of the place it was easy for me to make this a stop. Had the Gorgonzola Burger with a side of chowder. chowder was average, and the burger was one of the worst I have ever tried. Only took one bite and easily passed on a second bite. Huge let down. read more

We had a party of 10. We arrived at 4:05. After we ordered We watched several tables fill up and get their food. We waited over an hour the children got their food as for the adults, it was over an hour with no explanation. When the food arrived it was luke warm at best my hamburger bun was soggy. No one enjoyed the food. It tasted fine just wasn't warm. They gave us 1/2 off of our bill and offered some free burgers. We turned down the burgers, we already had cold burgers. Their explanation was that they had to redo 1 of the burgers. read more

This was the worst meal we've had in years! My wife had prime rib and it was a 3 out of 10, over cooked baked potato that was su to be loaded? What a joke! Same pota I got with my country fried steak, which was the most awful-greasy POS I've ever had in my life! Paper thin and the breading tasted like undercooked cornmeal! It was very grainy and gross! Couldn't eat much of it. Yes we told the server and she took off $6.00 on a $80.00 ticket. Dear people, save your money and your stomach, eat elsewhere! This place is gross!! And the place was dead as far as customers go. The server didn't give a shit ! And she was slow ! read more

I didn't want to leave a bad review. The service tonight was absolutely terrible. We sat in the bar and ordered: Chicken Vindaloo, Malai Methi Muttar and Garlic Naan. All to go. Our server/bar tender got us a pint, then disappeared for 10 minutes. She came back and then we placed our order. She was talking to another customer at the bar. She explained she had customers in the dining room also? After she took our order she was totally MIA. The order was taking at least 45 minutes with zero updates.. We became upset and left because for the volume of people was not that busy. We didn't want to wait an hour for our food. She did not even return to offer another beverage. For having the best Indian food, we had been happy in the past. Tonight they failed on multiple fronts. We won't be back again, sadly. read more

The Indian food was delicious but our meals took forever. I would recommend they hire more cooks, if that is the issue.

The staff is always nice and the food is great. It's a small town with newer owners so I see they keep trying new menu items. I was there for St Patrick's day to get the corned beef. It was soooo good. The buttered rye bread was delicious too. For $20 it was a good sized meal so I had to save some for lunch the next day. I'm a local and I've eaten here a bunch of times and never really found anything to complain about. The economy is crappy and things are expensive so if you don't like the prices you can go somewhere else and I'm sure you'll find something to complain about there too. read more

Absolutely lovely local place with plethora of options! Our son really enjoyed French toast and our younger loved his pasta. What a surprise, as he can be rather picky. I loved the service. It felt a bit like going to grandmas house and being really spoiled. There is a vibe of familiarity happening, and I felt like waitresses must have worked there for 10plus years. They also make their own sauce that they serve with homemade chips. Delish! read more

Easy in and easy out. Lots of seating and more in the bar area. They even have a points system with your phone number. Ask about it when you get your check! Eventually you can get a free meal :) Food is delicious with so many choices. Portions are great and they give you complimentary chips with their house made sauce! There's always a lot of chefs in the kitchen so food comes fast! Definitely a local favorite and in the heart of Belfair. I wish there were more of them! read more

Great food and excellent service. If you are passing through Belfair or just finished a day at the lake and your crew is hungry, Burger Claim needs to be on your must try list. Arrived on a Friday at 1:45pm and we had the place all to ourselves. Poppers and a cup or chilly to start both were excellent. Poppers are not made in house but we're good. Chilly is house made and is very good. Burgers, fries and onion rings were excellent. Menu prices have changed from previous posts. Give this local business a try. I had a good experience. read more

Cool funky little place kind of located in the middle of nowhere. Had the clam strip basket lunch. It was good, I'll be back to try one of their burgers. The server was cute and friendly. I was really hoping to like this place and the food. The service was great. The food? Not so much. The clan chowder was great. However, I didn't have many clams. It still tasted delicious. The burger and fries came, and I was sorely disappointed in my burger. I asked for pink, and it came out well done and appeared to be a smash burger. The burger wasn't round and didn't fill the bun. It also wasn't seasoned much, and I had to add salt and pepper. The sweet potato fries were good. My husband was happy with his burger and fries. I do like how they start with house made chips. Overall, I wasn't impressed. Lots more restaurants in the area o would try next time we are through there. read more

A big Meh! Came here for dinner after a day of fishing. We were promptly greeted with a very friendly greeting. The service however was friendly but lacking. There was only a few people in the place and the staff was too busy yapping. As for the food? Pre-fab junk. Everything can from a freezer bag from a grocery store. Nothing fresh. Worst yet, the portions for the fries and onion rings are puny. All in all, I will pass up this place the next time I'm in town. read more

I have been here multiple times and the one thing I have not had, is a burger. They have my favorite pancakes, they must fry them or something cause they are just a little crispy on the edges. I had their biscuits and gravy which was a descent attempt.... It wasn't great but I don't knock people for their B&G, because inevitably mine is better at home. Their Santa Fe salad is fire. And the chips and dip you get free is wonderful and I think home made. I wouldn't drive outta my way to go here but when I am in the area this is a go to spot. read more

Driven by it many times looking to purchase homes in Belfair (we live in Silverdale) and it always looked interesting. We were in the area for an event and decided to stop by for dinner. We arrived to a somewhat quiet restaurant (around 5PM) and it was super clean. The staff was attentive and quick to seat us, as well as take our orders. I ordered a peanut butter and bacon cheeseburger (never had one, I was interested), my kids had typical kids meals and my wife had the shrimp avocado salad (I think that's what it was called). When I tell you everything was delicious, I'm not kidding. Swift, too. After we were done and satisfied, our waitress asked us if we wanted to join their rewards program (totally free) and we did, our meal this evening went towards their points. Let's not forget the fact that they do an active duty military discount! They were awesome. This is a place we fully intend to frequent, and we definitely recommend it to anyone who likes good food for a very fair price. read more

Stopped in for lunch while driving through Belfair today. The Burger Claim was easy to find. It is right off the main highway. It has a fun 'gold miner" theme with comfy seating and a nice atmosphere. Th menu has breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Both the home cut fries and fresh potato chips were very good. The Miner Sauce that came with the chips was super tasty. My husband had the cod dinner with a baked potato and salad. I had the mushroom swiss burger and fries. Both were quite tasty. The portions were generous and we took home leftovers. The service was friendly and fairly quick. We will definitely come back again read more

It's pricey for what you get. My California Burger with onion rings was 22$. We also ordered kids fettuccine alfredo, kids chicken burger w/ fries and quesadilla. Of all the things, California burger was rather good but the other items were really poorly made. Fries were salty. Fettuccine Alfredo was overflowing with sauce. Onions rings were greasy and soggy. Restaurant is big and clean, and staff was good. We ordered everything at one time and our food was delivered together as well. Given some of the items and not a super busy time (4:30pm), I am sure they could have brought items as they came off. Given the price point, and no lack of fast food places nearby (McDonald's is right in front), management ought to look into focusing on quality checking the items. Wait staff should be looking at what they are serving and correcting the items before it hits the table. I am sure that with the right preparation the food could have been real good. read more

WOW!!! Best burger experience I've had in a while. I've been wanting to check this place out for some time and Super glad I finally did. The wifey went inside and ordered so keeping it simple I had her get a cheese burger and fries. My gosh! fries are unmatched anywhere, crispy/tasty, even the next day warming leftover chicken & fries. The burger was just as I would make one if I had all the fresh trimmings for it & they have all the trimmings, a good sized burger - not undersized bun or patty, in fact I'd guess the beef was half or two thirds of a pound as it was awesome. A perfect burger build, wifey got the chicken strips & fries and that was also super satisfying. She says they have beer too so I'll be back soon.. One note I'd mention to management: On my visit 01/29 /25 - afternoon, You're crew was spot on and I hope you treat them with great respect & reward as they are really making your business the success it is - keep it up & I'll see you real soon. read more

20 bucks a plate average. Small portions, mediocre food. Bloody Mary's had a funky flavor to them. When I sent the BloodyMary's back, the waitress took the drinks back to the bar and tasted them after we both had our mouths in them and drank out of the glasses. Very interesting people in the world these days. There was a large party of senior's dining in, and a lot of hacking and blowing noses at the table. Not a pleasant experience. Maybe their dinner is better? I can only speak for their breakfast. One positive note, The coffee was solid! read more

My wife and I ate lunch here yesterday with us both ordering Breakfast. We both liked our dishes. We came back from out trip to Alderbook today and we both had the cheeseburger wi8th tater tots. There was NO taste to the meat in the hamberger. 0 seasoning! Both of us only ate half the burger. Both of us got about 2 lbs each of tater tots. So good!! Six of us came here for lunch after sitting and waiting at another restaurant in Belfair for over half an hour and literally only got our drink order taken. I made a mistake when I read the menu and ordered the Shaft Cheese Burger & Fries, don't get me wrong the burger was delicious and the fries were fresh cut and cooked properly, it was I missed the SIZE of the Burger, One Whole Pound of Ground Chuck in 4 thick Pattie's dripping in fresh hot cheddar cheese with tomato, pickles & onions (I hate lettuce on a sandwich, it's a salad item not a sandwich item). While I was waiting they gave me chips & a dip to nibble on. Great atmosphere & if you love burgers , don't miss this place! read more

Today was our first visit at the Belfair Burger claim restaurant and we will not be returning. Upon arriving to the restaurant we were served cold, oil soaked chips with some sort of dipping sauce. The entire thing was awful and each of us took one bite and decided no more. We then hoped for the best and placed our orders. We viewed their menu online so we were quick to order. We had both decided on Cobb salads, and the chicken with a special order of steamed vegetables for our toddler. As a side to the salads we decided to purchase their loaded french fries and give them a try. Upon receiving our food we took one look and we're extremely disappointed. My friend's salad had only four pieces of chicken on it while mine had a very large amount. Online it claims that the salad was filled with so many items but our salad had only two slices of avocado each and minimal toppings. Our fries were served to us cold and were very disappointing. We actually sent them back and just decided not to re-order. My daughters steamed vegetables were still very hard and crunchy and her chicken was seasoned so strongly that she said it was too spicy to eat. I would also like to mention that their kids menu does not include a beverage. When we received our bill we were surprised to find that we paid $3.99 for half a cup of apple juice. During our stay at the restaurant there was a waiter who shouted out "fine I'll just quit" and another that said they were over staffed so he would be placing his section with another person. Honestly our whole experience was poor and we will not be returning. We are headed to great Wolf Lodge in October and are extremely excited to try that Burger claim over there. read more
